Its funny that at some point there are 4 time machines in 1955, The one where marty arrived in in the first movie, the one marty and doc came in to get the almanac, the one that old biff came in to bring himself the almanac, and the one sitting in the mine for 70 years.
Cool shit like that is why I love back to the future
Lol
Yes they where, If you think about it its all the same timeline in 1955
There weren't 4 time machines..... because the one in the mine was there after Doc travelled to 1885 so the maximum we had was 3 because the one that Biff stole was eventually gone because he did go back to 2015 so the ones we had were the one Marty and Doc came in and the one Marty came in in the first film but before 1st film Marty travelled back to 1985, 1985 Doc was hit by lightning and travelled to 1885 but that one was back in the mine because Doc brought it there! If you think about it then it is so confusing but yeah
Well the doc traveling to 1885 would be a fixed point, it would happen to matter what, so...the time machine should already have been there, but of cource no one was looking for it so no one found it
I like the sin removal for the hoverboard with no explanation.
just... hoverboards, man.
yup. self explanatory :)
if you look the sin removal sound happens but the sin counter goes up
James Smith guess they changed their minds * thumbs up * :)
well they didnt invent anything other than hovering cars and boards
and hovering, upside-down dads.
It's weird to think the future in BTTF 2 is now the past.
Not really
Still current here.
+Dilip Tien if you look at the time in 2015 's clock it's passed
+Taskmaster wait no we got 7 minutes (6 now)
+GaolisVideoLog Probably the popularity of it and the importance of specific times to the entire plot.
In case you’re wondering, there’s a theory that Doc has seen Marty die in the trilogy’s story, and multiple times too. That’s why he shows up when Marty needs him. He’s seen Marty die and time travels to that point in time himself to save Marty. It would explain why he’s there when Marty jumps off the roof, and when Doc comes by to save Marty from asphyxiation in Part III. Or when Biff chased him in the tunnel.
I’ve heard this theory, and I’ve been looking for this comment, but the part III one doesn’t make sense. Doc didn’t have a working time machine after he saved marty, just the one he put in the cave and the one with the broken fuel line (which he didn’t know about anyway)
I also agree with that theory on Marty having died and then Doc having to go around in time an extra round or more to prevent it, such as Marty jumping off the roof and onto the Delorian.
This is a different subject, but I don't fully agree with Jeremy's nitpick at 8:41 - 8:45, the reason why old Biff just suddenly at that moment remembered the manure for the first time in a long time was because it was 60 years ago for him when it happened, it was a very distant memory for old Biff, plus he's old and like many elders he's getting more senile now and doesn't have as sharp of a memory any more. I've heard lots of elderly folks, including my grandparents, who would suddenly remember an old buried memory from their youth and say gleefully "yeeah, I remember that!", it's common for elderly people to do that
@@Fartacus44 I'd agree that the Doc that'd never seen Marty in 1885 and ended up being killed by Mad dog had no way of knowing about the extra Delorian with the ruptured fuel line. But of course, that Delorian didn't exist yet because without Marty having come to 1885, there wouldn't have been the 2nd Delorian with the ruptured fuel.
He could've easily shot him by now but he's stupid 7:55
Doesn't this theory only work for the scenes in Bttf 2? Since Doc doesn't have the time machine in the 3rd one, it wouldn't be possible. It's still an awesome theory though, even if it just applies to the 2nd one.
Guys. I have bad news. The Cubs lost to the Mets. The dream is over.
Why hello there, m'la- oh, you arent a lady. Aw poo.
+CinemaSins The Cubs got owned by the Mets*
+CinemaSins Get your shit together I need my Everything Wrong With Star Wars. Fuck the prequels go straight to A New Hope. Please! Also ty for all the amazing content your produce. But srys
+CinemaSins Well, in the film, the Cubs were up against a team that doesn't actually exist. You know, the kind of team they could actually stand a chance of beating.
I couldn't resist saying it. I regret nothing!
+CinemaSins :/
Biff did not become George's pushover, because of one punch.
The idea is that George now had the courage to stand up to Biff, and eventually, over time, Biff learned that he couldn't pick on George anymore.
The amazing thing is that he would employ the man who bullied him and tried to rape his girlfriend, later wife, instead of having nothing to do with him. Once I finished school, the bullies were out of my life very quickly after that. Then again, Hill Valley is the town that no one moves away from, even if they become rich and successful.
2:43 "I need to borrow your.... hoverboard?"
*Removes a sin, no questions asked*
and at the part where he removes a sin for the buford tannen scene (from the cubs win counter) he adds a sin on the main counter
Samurai Seaver Because a hoverboard is reason enough to remove a sin.
@@tbewin he fixes it on the next sin
I still dont know how they fixed marty getting in a car crash and not becoming a rockstar
@@Faoijhfr4rsgioi marty learnt to not take it so seriously when people call him chicken and that was being the reason why he would have ended up in the car crash so when they fixed it he didnt take it so seriously and didnt crash
Also in the crash he broke his arm and gave up on the guitar cuz of that so when it didnt happen he ended up being a guitarist
One sin off I wish you didn't miss - the elation Marty felt after lightning took Doc back to 1885 and Marty reads the letter... "There's only one man who can help me now!" And the edit back to the original climax is almost exactly as exciting as the original climax was on it's own.
The most heartbreaking moment in the first one is Marty coming back, moments too late just to see his best friend die again, and just as he's about to yell, "No!" the previous version of himself who is still there does it first. That's one of the most specifically heart-wrenching moments in all of movies, that the only reason he doesn't say, "No!" first is because he already did it and he's remembering it as it happens directly in front of him. So getting the letter that Doc is alive makes my inner nine-year-old jump twice as high because the first movie kicked me in the stomach with Doc and Marty, only to mend it and the second movie gave me a great big hug because the gesture went the other way.
There. I said it. Back to the Future Part feels like a hug from someone I've lost, but part II feels like the way I wish the hug felt.
Aaaaw. What a beautiful way to put it!
Nicely put!
Still a better movie than most shit movies coming out today
+Aoba-kun Back to the future 2 isnt even bad
Being better than most movie that came out in that time too helps
+Aoba-kun Still a better movie? That makes it sound like you think it is still bad. This was a great movie, and you can tell that Jeremy thinks so too.
***** No movie is without sin.
Other good movies sometimes had over 150 sins, but that doesn't mean shit.
Since jeremy does a dear Hollywood series, I'm gonna try one myself.
Dear Hollywood,
Do not, under any circumstance, reboot the back to the trilogy. It's too good of a trilogy for you to ruin like you did with so many others.
Sincerely,
The world
+Xiang (Fortehlolz) >inb4 the trilogy is rebooted
+Ragy wait a second. is that true
+Xiang (Fortehlolz) Shouldn't have even made a sequel imo.
+Xiang (Fortehlolz) Why? The reboot could be complete horse shit by all counts and it wouldn't destroy anything about the original trilogy...
Obviously people are still interested in the movies and ideals so the studio would be stupid to not want to capitalize on that. And who knows, they might make a decent movie.
+Xiang (Fortehlolz) Bob Zemeckis and Bob Gale specifically included a contract clause with Universal Pictures (during the original trilogy) that said that they have to approve of all sequels / reboots of the franchise. They've both said that they will never approve of a sequel / reboot as long as they live.
I don't care if it's a year off, I'm going by the Cubs Win Sin Counter.
Same. It's close enough to count for me.
Same, if the Mayans can get a pass for being 8 years off for the end of the world, Back to the Future gets a pass for being only one year off
@@ewanwickward8587 I agree!

Since they were a year off, this movie gets 19 sins off.
also, holy hell! how did they do that?
No only 10
So true
777 Wtf
Theres a Theory that says the reoson doc was able to be there when marty jumped is because he came from a timeline where he fell to his death and went back in time to savs him, to be honest its dark but makes kinda sense
It’s not that dark considering doc got gunned down in the first film
If he did then there would be a bunch of Delorians at the spots of Marty’s death and a shit ton of docs
@@thelastdunkonian2846 That comment reminds me of that episode of Family Guy where Stewie and Brian go back in time ... And ends up with bunch of Stewie and Brians 😂 😂

You pointed out his back process
Yeah I dont think thats the case
If he did then there would be a bunch of Delorians at the spots of Marty’s death and a shit ton of docs
@@thelastdunkonian2846 Why? Marty dies, doc goes back in time to that spot and saves him. This is the part you see in the movie. He doesn't need to go back again, he already rescued him
How about a sin for the inconsistent location of the high school: both the high school and Biff's house seem to be within walking distance of downtown. Yet, when Biff drives to the dance, he drives many miles thru the woods and thru the river-road tunnel to get to the high school.
OBVIOUSLY they use an obscene one way road system that also applies to the sidewalk and biff adheres to it because he cares about road safety
Maybe he had to pick up his friends for the dance.
You say that as if cinemasins makes actual sins instead of dumb nitpicks and easily answered questions
6:23 - A sin is added on the normal movie sin counter, but removed from the Cubs sin counter? 57 to 35.
Then it changes back so they match the next sin.
You have taught me well to pay attention to details, CinemaSins
+Zel The Viking Why did a 2nd Sin Counter appear anyways?
+Christian Lowe Because.... if the prediction of the cubs winning was correct, it would be an amazing prediction worth subtracting 20 sins. He explains it at 3:30 or so
Joel Sweeney... Ohhhhhh... I was wondering why when the Win Sins Counter appeared, it started with only 3 sins or something... Interesting...
+Christian Lowe The 2nd sin counter displays the sin count in the event the movie is right and the Chicago Cubs win the world series (and which starts out with 20 sins removed from the total count); the original sin counter counts the sins under the assumptions that the Cubs do not win, shaming the movie with 20 sins for inaccurately prophesizing the results of the 2015 baseball world series.
It happened again around the 90/70 Sin mark. I heard the remove a sin sound, but only the Cubs counter went down. Next Sin, it was evened up again.
2015 cinemasins: "They still use faxes"?
2020, my work place: "We cannot send the order automatically. You have to fax it"

Jon Cannon fingers crossed
He did Part 2 in 2015 because that's when the movie takes place so he'll do Part 3 in 1885 stupid.
Definitely should have removed a sin for predicting flat screen TV.
And facetimeing, and on a tv instead of a computer
Flat screens predicted for the future were first shown on The Twilight Zone in 1959. True story
And now there’s 8k TVs,what happens after 8k tvs will it be 10k
@@chrisallie9960 More likely the next standard tv resolution will be 16k next(although whoever even needs 8k already?🙄) since hardware usually doubles, such as them going from 4k to 8k, although it technically isn’t even 4k because they just rounded up from 3840, which is ironic since we never referred to HD as 2k since it’s resolution was 1920.

2015 still no Hoverboard
Lexus cough cough
+Wildmutt12 Its not really a hoverboard, it uses super cooled superconductors that can suspend objects above a magnet, there was a metal trail buried under the park, if it moved from that trail if would immediately fall
+Corvo Attano Well, we know BTTF 2 hoverboards don't work on water (unless you have power, but I'm not going to get into that) and some cars don't fly, but hover. Is it inconceivable that the roads would not be made from the same material as the trails that real life hoverboards work on?
Science has failed us
responsiblegamers It would not be impossible that the roads are made of the proper material, the real issue right now is that you need a constant supply of liquid nitrogen for the materials to remain the right temps, and you would run out incredibly fast
So, are we waiting until 1885 to see the BTTF Part 3 sins?
We're waiting for someone to break into an abandoned mine shack to retrieve them! LOL
well to do that someone will have to reset the universe or we'll have to wait to die and be reincarnated to the next life where even in the age before Christ we have all the stuff we had now so by the time we rereach 2015 maybe we'll have flying cars and the Arc-V System from yu-gi-oh so I dont have to hear another jerk off saying how much he'll blow his load into arc-v dark magician girl

Actually the sin counter is fixed when the narrorator says "people don't notice goddam shit" so I think it was a joke to see if we would notice.

6:22 The sin detraction soundeffect plays, but a sin gets added to the counter, while a sin gets detracted from the win counter, effectively diminishing the point of having either of them be visible.

Wait... One of the rules was that you can't see yourself from the past, or else you'll go into shock. Yet Bif goes back to the past to give himself a pamphlet, and no shock happens...
+theeshyguy1 I think it's you have to know you're meeting yourself. Jennifer remembered meeting her older self so she passed out. But Doc Brown didn't pass out before 1st movie Doc Brown didn't know he was talking to himself
+theeshyguy1 It is when you're not expecting it. Biff didn't recognise his older self and Doc didn't know it was him so he was fine. Jennifer wasn't expecting it and henceforth has a shock
Ding!
+theeshyguy1 Honestly, when I was younger, I always thought that Doc was being overly paranoid, since even Jennifer met her older self, and nothing noteworthy happened.
That wasn't the rule, it's just what happened in one instance when Jennifer saw herself. Doc kept telling Marty not to run into himself more as a non-interference rule. If he had run into himself, for example in 1955, then it might disrupt the timeline from the original movie, thus causing Marty to be trapped in the past, or to never exist at all....
11:53 in the novelization, it explains that he was actually shot on his way to receive an award, so it makes sense that he would be honored that day.
the thing CinemaSins said about telling Marty not to make bad decisions instead of having to go to the future is actually a very legit and excellent point...
+Ini A also how it should be the 'biff future' after 2015 biff returns from the past
Timelines seem to change slowly in the BTTF universe, as if they have some sort of inertia. It's at least consistent this way, starting with how the photo in the first one (and marty himself) fade gradually instead of simply being altered immediately once the past has changed.
So maybe if Biff had waited a few hours before traveling back to 2015 from 1955, he'd have arrived in biff-2015 instead of marty-2015.
+Ini A If you watch some of the movie extras and deleted scenes from BTTF2, it is explained that the reason that Biff comes out of the delorean clutching his stomach and in pain is because in the Biff timeline, he is shot by Loraine; the deleted scene is older Biff in 2015 walking away from the time machine, falling behind a dumpster (or a car), and fading away because he is not alive in 2015. So, at least in the deleted scenes/original story, the part about Biff being shot in his alternate timeline is present in the "original 2015" timeline. That wouldn't seem to match up with the inertia of timelines changing theory and is probably why that scene and the implied explanations were cut from the final version of BTTF2.
Daron Aukerman Why would getting shot affect which 2015 timeline oldest biff arrives in? Marty and Doc both always arrive in the future of the present they leave from, not the future they previously came from. If it worked the way you said, marty from the first movie would have returned to the original 1985 (no black truck) and then faded away.
Unless you're saying the 2015 we saw was also the future of the biff timeline, but that's even messier.
Joshua Pearce yeah, I think what you said earlier is our best bet at explaining stuff. Also, it is possible that since the almanac was used much later after it was given to young biff (horse races happened when biff was 21, I think), old Biff returning to the marty-2015 future makes sense since it was immediately after he gave the almanac. In that sense, going from past to future would remain normal since the events of the past had only just been initiated. However, doc and marty had to go BACK in time after the past had already been altered for a while, so the only sensible time they could return to was biff-1985, since the chain-reaction of events had already been finished. Just a theory :P
My gosh
I remember watching this movie on October 21, 2015 and being like “I wish 2015 was like this”
that was four damn years ago
where did those years go?!?!??
Dude, I wish 2015 was like the 1985 at least! Insteaad we all are somewhat closer to the Biff's 1985 but with some "Jaws 19"-ish movies(((
I’m with ya
All those years ago...
Gotta say watching this in 1885 and I'm not too thrilled of my own present!
to waste
I think that the hoverboard hovering over water is like a phone showing an empty battery, it can still function ...just not the way you want it to .
They had mobile phones then, with rechargeable batteries. It was a known concept.
And the sin is that if the board is still hovering, it's still powered up, just like on land. Even if it no longer responded to Marty's foot pushing the air, it should have moved just from the paddling.
It's function, Jim, just not as we know it ...
9:52 - Actually, Crispin Glover's lawsuit wasn't about them reusing previous footage since that footage belongs to the studio releasing the film. He sued because they made face prosthetics to make Jeffery Weissman look like Crispin Glover so the audience wouldn't freak out about the recasting. They pulled this stunt off by reversing engineering parts from a paper mache molding of Crispin Glover's face made during the filming of the first movie when George was old. They also made the mistake of not doing this bulls*** for Jennifer's character making Crispin feel like they did this as revenge for him asking for too much money!
@Мармеладов ТВ That was a slightly different scenario. Brando jumped ship when Donner was let go of the sequel. Even though they were filmed together with the first movie, the scenes with Brando they were going to use for Superman II were specifically made for Superman II, and not old footage by any means.
He wanted more money for a small part
I do like the film maker’s logic though.
“Guys, Glover won’t do part 2 without more money.”
“Ok, we’ll get a different actor and put prosthetics on him to make him look so much like Glover the audience might not be able to tell it’s not him.”
“Also, Wells isn’t available.”
“Ok, fine. Get someone else.”
Why would they do it for the actress who played Jennifer? That would've made the problem bigger than it already was
@@jennyoneill8879 Lea Thompson and Thomas F. Wilson both had the same size role in the movie as Crispin but he was getting paid less than them. Nice try though
I read a theory that says the two parts where Doc "saves" Marty (catches Marty after he jumps off roof before Biff shoots him, and tosses down flags to pull Marty up before biff runs him over), were actually the second time Doc did "saved" him. The reason being because the first time, Marty actually died. So, the doc went back in time to the exact location he needed to be to make sure he could save Marty.
Fuck I love your thinking
That wasn't his theory, though.
Doesn't make sense , cause then there had to be two deloreans and two Doc's
no the first time the doc came to find his dead body and he worked out what happend
David Bliss yeah okay. Nice theory, but it seems a little stretched.
what about the idea that doc is always in the right place to save Marty with the car because Marty actually dies several times and doc has to go back and save him
Titanic Truths Aww Jesus Mother Shit! Mind fucked.
That is very interesting
YES! Great theroy
Why weren't you born earlier and/or apart of the development of these movies.
Would've been a nice edition to the series.
A different version of the trilogy but from Doc’s POV.
Everyone wants to complain about no hoverboards (or at least the fact that they're primitive, extremely expensive, and essentially unavailable for everyday people). And it's suddenly popular to point out that the Cubs could still win the Series (even though it's now looking like they almost certainly won't). I'm just over here asking where the hell Jaws 19 is at? I want to see that hologram shark jump out at me from the marquee!

Well yes it is possible to create hoverboards... kind of... they just have this slight problem of only being usable in an incredibly limited space as you need to have a proper surface for it (it works pretty good for trains though.. Maglev)
4:24 In the future, they didn't heat it up the way we did back in 1985. They "hydrated" the pizza. The metal plate is not hot.
Yep the pan wasn't hydrated! Just the pizza!
Didn’t think about that… but the pizza did look hot when they ate it so you would expect that it was hydrated and cooked at same time
OK, I must be a moron, please explain this. I assumed hydrated is a form of steaming, am I wrong? Stick something in a crock pot, slow cooker, air fryer, same results, not only is the food hot, but so is the metal or ceramic, or whatever. If it conducts heat it will be hot, change my mind?

When you think about it... Biff's gambling could have changed the nerves and attitudes of some sportspeople, thereby changing the scores and making the almanac incorrect.
But then wouldn't the almanac change to reflect the new scores because it came from the future?
@@alericjohansen6775 yeah because the matchbook in Marty's hand just turned into an alternate one
@@alericjohansen6775 Woah
He would have been arrested for match fixing, it would have been too suspicious after so many unlikely wins. Betting shops would have banned him, his story was all over the news so they would have known about him.
@@newjoel18 That's what's bothered me. Even if Biff intentionally lost some smaller bets to throw everyone off, he wins enough to be all over the newspapers about it. Some would avoid taking bets from Biff, but the ones that do probably would still know who this person is. You would think old Biff would say to use this to get a small fortune together then invest it in a company called Microsoft, or Apple, or Google.
I was wondering the same thing about why old Biff came back to the original 2015 instead of alternate 2015 where he would be rich. I asked my dad and he gave quite a good explanation.
He said that since in 1955, as soon as old Biff gave the almanac to young Biff, Marty and Doc took it back, thereby making sure everything in the timeline remains normal. Therefore Biff reaches normal 2015.
But... Doc and Marty end up in the 'alternate' 1985 - if the alternate 2015 doesn't happen because they took back the almanac, how come the alternate 1985 DOES happen?
@@antonysimpson6288 because they hadn't taken the almanac back. When they went back to alternate 1985 from 2015, they reached the alternate version because Biff had the almanac and used it to become rich.
When they realise this, that is when they travel back to 1955 and take it, and that is why alternate 1985 got erased.
It is kind of like a paradox. If Doc and Mary hadn't reached alternate 1985, they couldn't have taken the almanac in 1955, which means the alternate 1985 would have happened.
@@trushilvyas9794 if alternate 1985 was a thing, alternate 2015 should also have been.
Marty and Doc took unconscious Jennifer back to the DeLorean in 2015 after old Biff brought it back - this was before they took the almanac back, just like in alt 1985.
@@nthgth welp, can't explain this one. I wish to meet Robert Zemeckis some day and ask him how this works out.

Movie: *Characters travel to 2015 and find high-tec stuff*
Real life in 2015: *We put two wheels on a board and called it a hoverboard*
And they blow up like Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Too freakin true
That's how they came with name: BTTF2
Then again hovercraft have been a thing for a long time and it's actually touching the ground too, riding on a cushion of air. Apparently it doesn't have to actually levitate to qualify as a hover device.
1985: In 30 years, think of all the technical and scientific advancements that will be made!
Present day: We have to literally tell people not to eat tide pods
I like how the original ended with 55 sins for 1955 and this one exactly doubled it to 110. Does that mean Back to the Future 3 will have 185 sins?
+Statalyzer 185 because of 1885
That would be clever
Illuminati / half life 3confirmed
+SmashSSL Woah I didn't even think of that part....
+Statalyzer Probably not. It's a slightly better film than II.
II is way better than III
-1 sin, sure your Prius could reach 88 on that road but Deloreons in real life could barely reach highway speeds
Agreed it can barely do 80, But if doc can make a time machine. He can put something like super charger.
Still, I'm curious why they used only Delorean
Prateek Panwar doc said if he was going to build a time machine he was going to do it in style

He put nos in the delorean 🤓
7:09 there's actually a reason for this. Doc stated in the first movie it takes time for the timeline to change. That's why Marty didn't start to disappear until the dance. Between 1955 and 2015 is 60 years, more than enough time for Old Biff to return before it becomes Biff's timeline.

Cubs winning a World Series..........I can only suspend my disbelief so much.
+Mark G lol cubs are losing 6-1 in the seventh inning , mets are gonna prob sweep them
+Pretty much anything!!! :p Cubs were swept.
+Mark G While the Mets were the better team this time around, the Cubs I think will be contenders over the next few years.
For now, let go Mets!
Yup. The failed their acronym this year. CUBS: Completely Useless By September
My dad bases the Cubs win off of two movies. This one, and a movie called 'Rookie of the Year'.
The Cubs won the following year's world series. WE WERE SO CLOSE!
Man, I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that this movie was off by a year and put some money on the Cubs.........
I smell fish.......
@@elmoglue Or was MLB off a year..... purposely. Sports nowadays are all about the money, not so much competition, sometimes they seem scripted. If they had won in 2015 most likely would've been all B.S. and still were only a year off. But that's just my opinion.
@Marinebattleships 1 But the Florida Marlins actually did end up becoming the Miami Marlins
it only took an extra year for hell to freeze over.
Dolan Trimp technically if they had won in 2015 it would have been 99 years.

The biggest sin is Doc brown telling Marty that he can't look his past self in the eyes but then old Biff has the almanac conversation with teenage Biff and ... nothing happens.
+Darth Imperius also it was the old Biff talking to young Biff, I guess it wasn't that easy to notice they were the same person
That was just a theory by him, Doc Brown didn't really know the real consequences, and he didn't really want to figure it out.
Young Biff doesn’t know who he is.
5:02 is not a sin. Marty says he doesn't remember bars being on the windows because there weren't (on the original timeline). Marty is unaware that he has returned to a twisted version of Hill Valley, where Biff runs the town and crime is rampant, and thus, bars now on Jennifer's window.
His argument is not that bars were definitely on the windows, just that that's something that would be noticeable, and he should've realized that something was off.
@@llawliet4748 But that's exactly what this scene depicts, Marty noticing that "something is off."
@@lomarsweed6604 And he shrugged it off despite how suspicious it was.
@@CrystalGreymon As opposed to what, collapsing to the ground in a state of hysterics, screaming "Why? Oh dear God why are there bars on these windows? I know for a fact they weren't here on previous visits!!!" Would that have sufficed?
@TheGamerAdrian That's what I was wondering. In the alternate timeline, Doc was in a mental institution and Marty was in Switzerland. In the alternate timeline, either there are two Docs and two Martys or the Doc in the mental institution would have vanished with the Marty in Switzerland. Now, if you believe there were two of them, Jennifer would have been left in this timeline with the divergent Marty and Doc. If you believe they vanished, then you still have to realize there would have to be a timeline where Marty and Doc come to the fixed timeline and drop Jennifer off. In part 3, how did THAT Jennifer get there, and who dropped her off, and what did they do after that?
Okay, I'm not a baseball fan or anything, so is there a chance that the Cubs could actually win it this year? Because if so, that'd be hilarious.
EDIT: Welp! So much for that!
+Nick Piers They are currently down 3-0 in a seven game series. They'd have to beat the Mets 4-0 in the next 4 games and then they'd have to win another 4 games in the World Series...then hell freezes over.
Mills65 Heh, so...that's a no, then.
+Nick Piers yeah its a no. But if they do that would be insane. Cause its pretty much over, maybe this is how they won in 2015 BTTF2. Amazing history that would be
+Nick Piers yeah...take this: NLCS 2015 (as 20 october 2015) METS 3 CUBS 0 in the best of a 7 games series...so if the Cubs manage to do what the Red Sox did in 2004...came back from a 3-0 deficit and sweep the mets, go to the World Series and win (again, series at best of seven games)..if dont...they have to wait until next year.
It would be difficult, but they're not out. When Boston broke the curse of the Bambino in 2004, they were down 3 against the Yankees and won the AL Championship before going on to win the world series.

Add a sin for Cinema Sins. That much road IS needed for a Delorean to get to 88. It's a slow car with an underperforming engine.
Oh nuts, my Chevy S-10 is related to a Delorean?! Explains why she's grey colored too.
More underperforming than a Prius? Because as a Prius owner, I could definitely get up to 88 with that much road, like actually.
Lorraine: You're not even half the man George was
Biff: I'm ten times the King Mufasa was
LOL
If only marty went to 2016 than 2015
7:30 he DOES have a reason. the reason is that “old relative” told him that one day a guy like marty would ask him about the almanac, and that’s exactly what was happening. Biff was just giving him an “intro” why he was about to kill him even tho he avoided that before for Lorraine’s sake, just sent him abroad instead
Also probably he had it bottled it up inside him so long, and couldn't tell ANYONE. It was probably a pleasing relief to be able to tell someone (whom you're going to kill anyway. Maybe he told George McFly as well before he killed him).
Guy Kruger He probably did. Is about power, biff felt in control and like he knew things ahead of happening... just how arrogant he is about telling marty how he killed George with the same gun to let that be marty’s last thought shows that
it's funny how 1 year later this vid was made the cubs won the wold series a few days ago

he just casually retracts a sin after hoverboard, I love when he causally retracts sins with no explanation, like he knows we know why he did that shit, like when he retracted a sin when Dash ran across water lmao
Don't forget the sex slave scene (Princess Leia) in Return of the Jedi. He did the same thing then too lol
Well, as we all know, these videos are meant purely for comedic effect. Still if you want to get technical he actually should have added several more sins for the hoverboards.
1. Hoverboards cannot turn - not even a little. They just continue in a straight line in whatever direction you originally pushed off in. They can however follow curved terrain so if you used one in an empty swimming pool you could seem to turn and change direction.
2. Hoverboards cannot reverse direction as if going up some imaginary half pipe (when the 3 punks reversed direction to follow the jeep).
3. Marty had more than enough momentum to get all the way across the pond, and then some. After all, there is no rolling resistance, only wind resistance, which would be negligible at such a low speed.
4. When Marty tossed the hoverboard down in front of him it would not have stopped, it just would have kept going and he probably would have had trouble catching up with it.
@@SLOBeachboy I actually laughed at loud at #4. That would've been an hilarious scene.

Oh, well imagine,as I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor...
I remember watching this as a kid in the 90’s and wondering what I’d be doing on the 21st of October 2015! As it turned out, that day I had just bought an E60 M5 and was driving it home! It came on the radio on the way home that today was that day they travel to in back to the future, and I distinctly remember as a kid thinking about it, Which was a good 20 years or so away at the time! And as a bit of a car nut, I was genuinely glad and it made me smile that I was driving home in a 5.0 V10 BMW that I’d dreamt of owning for about 10 years by that point! It really sowed that whole thought and 20 odd years of wonder up quite nicely!
So how long until Everything Wrong with Back to the Future 3?
Until 1885, of course.

Still no Back To The Future 3...
"What, do we become assholes or something?"
Doc has to sit and think about it for a second.
The funniest thing I realized from this movie was some days ago when I watched part III. In the end, Marty still holds a photograph of Doc Browns and / or his gravestone. The gravestone disappears, but he still holds the photograph... Why would someone shoot a photograph of empty grass spots and this in the year 1885 when maybe taking a photo was more expensive than buying a horse?!
But the photo was shot in 1955 right after Marty and 1955 Doc checked out the delorian that was in the mine for 70 years.
AnotherKentPaul When Marty took the photo of Docs gravestone in 1955, the 1955 Doc sees it too, so Marty tried to go back in 1885 to stop Doc from getting killed by mad dog tannen and on the night of the dance when it has the 1985 Doc dancing with the girl, they are both in a photo in front of the new clock. Doc wouldn't be gone from that picture but the gravestone would because it didn't happen.
I recently re-watched part |||, and in the scene where 1955 Doc and Marty discover the grave stone from 1885, '55 Doc makes a masterbaiting motion near his dick
Marty still took the photograph and Biff's matchbooks were still made. The circumstances involving the items is what is subject to temporal change, not necessarily the items themselves.
It is funny at the end of part 3 when doc gives marty the photo wrapped up because marty thought it was the almanac
"How did he open a walkie talkie with zero effort in plastic packaging?"
Because Radio Shack used to hold them together with one or two staples where you could actually do that. I used to have that walkie as a kid
I think mostly because but not always, that's why when I saw what had happened I couldn't believe it. Maybe it's me but the last time I saw something like that it was very different, but different in a different kind of way that would be very different today if it was the same. It worked for me, but that's not the end of the story.
I don't think that was what I saw, so I apologise for that.
Next time I hope it was, not for me you understand but for the good of what will have to come next, kind of hope springs eternal, or is that Lester bangs chick from southern hemisphere?
If I knew my limits I would benefit from all of of it, and if that's the case this is the last time you will read anything I have written.
Apparently not.
I'm shocked, I mean really shocked!!
None of this makes any sense whatsoever.
No. No. I got it. That's why it's me having to read it, it really doesn't matter.
Necro post I know... I used to work at Radio Shack and those walkie talkies were garbage. The had like 100 foot range tops.
"What happens to us in the future? Do we become assholes or something?"
That depends. How often do you eat apples?
"...a ridiculous trigger-word for the next two movies."
A sin on Jeremy for seeing Back to the Future 4 without telling anyone. Or just a sin on him misspeaking *ding*
The sad thing is, decades from now they will remake this franchise in a then present day setting and travel to a more distant future.
How is that sad?
Because it will be absolutely terrible.
+Vaas Montenegro and no Christopher Lyodd either.
+DJ Moon Knight Because this is one of the few films that DOES NOT need to be remade.
The two Bobs (Zemekis and Gale) who own the BttF rights have already said they will never allow a BttF remake.
I started cracking up at 03:14 and 06:34 because of the way Jeremy describes what was wrong in the scene😂
this is a sin I found for the third movie, but... Maggie McFly (from when Marty goes back to 1885) mysteriously looks exactly like Lorraine (cuz both characters are Lea Thompson), despite the fact that Lorraine married into the McFly family and would have no genetic connection to her.
Yep, I’ve been saying that for sooooooo many years. It might have been funnier to get the lady who played Marty’s sister to play the 1885 McFly’s wife and Marty’s brother to play McFly and then for the brother, who had been killed for trying not to appear afraid, to look exactly like Marty in a picture the couple had of him. Hahaha!
The only reason I haven’t said any of what you said online is that it was very common for cousins to marry each other back in the day disgustingly enough. And sometimes people marry family members even today, though without their knowledge, because of adoptions or broken family relationships and such that have taken place. Also, often people marry others who are familiar to them and thus look a whole lot like their family members. So I could see where I could have been argued out of my stand. But yeah, I agree with you.
Maybe Leah Thompson would have been better suited as a hilarious strong-willed woman in town, being a direct ancestor of Lorraine and maybe even named Lorraine (because family first names have often been repeated throughout generations), who made the McFlys angry, hated Mad Dog for trying to rape her at one point, was a friend to Clara, and had been married to dead non-yella McFly who looked like Marty. What a funny twist that would have been! And then the disgusting incest angle in the first movie would have been somewhat explained.
What I don’t understand is why the writers pursued the incest angle between Marty and Lorraine though must have known that a McFly ancestor would not have looked like her. It just seemed to me like a poor writer’s mistake, taking an easy way out in order to include the incest angle for a cheap laugh instead of really working out the backstory in order to round out Lorraine and Marty’s characters.
But I dunno. That might just be me because the trilogy was still a big hit. Maybe people in America just really aren’t that bright, and the writers capitalized on it. If so, that’s just sad.
The reason Biff says he doesn't see any resemblance is because it's literally the same actor in a different costume and it's a chuckle for the people who know that.
And also because he's dumb and doesn't recognize his own face to begin with.
I'm pretty sure it's just a joke about how fucking stupid Biff is
not funny the film sucks parts 1 and 3 are great
Yes it’s blatantly obvious it’s a joke. I forget what he said about it for the sin but besides it being a joke it’s something that would be real for 100% of people if they saw themselves 60 years older they wouldn’t recognize themselves and would say they have no resemblance if you told them it was your relative. If I showed you a picture of you in 60 years and said it’s your relative, you would say there’s no resemblance when it’s literally you. It’s crazy but 100% of people would be that way just because we see ourselves in such detail that 60 years worth of change wouldn’t even seem like it resembles ourselves even if everyone else in the world could tell it’s literally a grandpa version of you. So the sin ding is just because, but yeah the joke is obviously clear and it goes deeper even if the writers didn’t intend it and only meant it as a joke.
Of course is going to be the same actor if it wasn't it wouldn't be right at all

While Biff's marital status wasn't mentioned in the BTTF trilogy, it could very well be possible that Biff was did in fact get married.
In the scene with the documentary where Biff Marries Lorain he says "Third times the charm" That means in the original time line Biff was married twice and divorced at least once in the time line where Biff didn't get the almanac. So it is possible that Biff was still married to his second wife at the start of the first film or that he was divorced twice and decided not to remarry again. At any rate at least one of those marriages could have produced at least one child who could have grown up and had Griff.
was did 💀
In the alternate timeline, yes. It's possible that in the fixed timeline Biff just marries once. He finds a woman that he likes that likes him back and they get married. In the alternate timeline, he has money and power and corruption so he leaves the average wife he married to find a trophy wife.... or perhaps he already is still married to the first two and is being polygamous as nobody is going to do anything about it.

Doc has a few lines with Jennifer, and a few with "himself" when he goes back to 1955. Otherwise, all his interactions are with Marty.
He interacted with a bunch of people off screen - Marty Jr, the Western Union people in 1885, as well as a few cashiers to buy the walkie-talkies, the bike and probably food
I find it insensitive that he sins the movie for reshooting the first scene. Claudia Wells’ mom was sick and she had to help her, so she couldn’t film for the 2nd movie. That’s literally nobody’s fault whatsoever that they had to redo it with Elizabeth Shue.

Doc had a theory regarding paradoxes that could end the universe. This is just not possible because Jennifer saw herself as well!
No, the Cubs did not win in 2015, because my beloved Royals did. But there's still an odd little connection: the date that Marty goes 'back' to in the first film was October 27, 1985, which was the exact day the Royals also won the 1985 World Series.
