16:10 - 16:29 - I can answer Jeremy's question here, the 2015 middle-aged Marty in Bttf 2 only existed from the way the time-line was laid out at that particular point. Marty at that point had returned from his experience in 1955 but had not yet learned the consequences of the drag race with Needles. While in 2015, Jennifer had just heard the story for the first time and Marty knew nothing of it yet.. So without Marty at that juncture knowing the outcome of the drag race with Needles and no Jennifer warning him about it, he raced Needles, smashed into the Rolls Royse, got sued and lost, permanently crippled his hand so he couldn't make a career with his guitar music, and ended up at a dead-end career getting bullied by co-worker Needles while knowing that Marty gives in easily to what Needles wants just like he did in the drag race in 1985, and then Marty gave in to him again in 2015 when pushing him to break company rules, thus getting him fired and disrupting his life even further. But now after the events of Bttf 3, Jennifer and Marty know better, he refuses to race Needles, and the unfortunate chain of events that followed no longer happen, and the turmoiled middle-aged 2015 Marty we saw will no longer exist. Now that Marty's decisions have changed, we leave Bttf 3 no longer knowing where Marty will be in 2015. It's basically up to us to figure out for ourselves, he could've now become a successful musician, or his life could've fallen into ruins in some other way, we'll never know.

Paradox: After old Biff returned to 1955 Marty and Doc cannot travel to the 1985 that Biff made: They no longer exist. Doc goes to an asylum and the DeLorean time machine is never created. This negates both the initial accidental trip to 1955 and all subsequent time travel. This includes old Biff's trip from 2015.

But by the time Marty trains back to 1985, Doc had already hidden the BTTF2 Time machine in the mine. So back in 1885, Doc still had a mostly-built Delorean. With the electronics from the hoverboard, he could probably fix the time device enough to work, and repeat the train stunt to bring it to the future at 88mph. Eventually, of course, he'd have to go back and re-bury the Time Machine to avoid a paradox. But Doc would know that. Of course, that also raises the question of why he didn't put the hoverboard in the car when he buried it for Doc-1955 to find. Maybe he did. I live in a town in Southern California (like Hill Valley was) that my family was living in from the 1880s to current, 5 generations, and our families intertwined with a lot of other families that are still connected to this day. The car could get to the required speed, but the tricky part was simultaneously getting the required power for the Flux Capacitor. If the car ran on plutonium instead of gas, then when the plutonium was used up in the jump to the past, the car wouldn't be able to drive at all. The end of the first movie and the second movie added Mr. Fusion for the flying component and a plutonium replacement for the time travel. In the third movie, there are not any issues with the time travel component on the DeLorean Marty uses to get to the past, but the tricky part is getting the required speed, and that's where gasoline, which wasn't an issue in the previous movies, comes into play.

Nobody caught that Clara was mentioned in Doc's obituary, meaning somehow she already survived the crash into the ravine which she was destined to. So it means somehow even without Marty's intervention and trying to find a way to speed up the Delorian, Doc was going to randomly run into Clara in the desert. Not only so, but by rescuing her the 1st time and supposely Doc dies, it means Clara lived on and probably had children thus polluting the timeline.
Of course knowing this, the most puzzling is that Doc is a scientist, so he would already know that taking Clara with them is the RIGHT thing to do, b/c Clara's existence is polluting the timeline. So why did Doc first decide not to take her? He's a bad scientist who understands very little about temporal mechanics.

No, it means that Clara dying in the ravine was part of the original time line that the movies started off with but that time line and her death was already changed when Doc went back to 1885 and agreed to pick her up at the town meeting prior to Marty even showing up. What we saw in the movie was Doc getting a reminder of what he already agreed to do but when Marty showed up it created yet another time line branch that changed things yet again.

      \
\---Doc to 1885 creating a new off-shoot timeline where he picks up Clara so she never needed saving and he gets a tombstone (probably stayed Shonash Ravine)

When Marty is in the town of Hill Valley in 1885 I am sure that tall, mature Australian eucalyptus trees can be seen in the background. People from gold rush towns like Ballarat and Bathurst came to California. They planted eucalyptus trees. Demand for the tree as a building material didn’t explode until the 1870s.
Was this something that the film makers overlooked?

CinemaSins is really BS sometimes. I know it's supposed to be "satire" but the "it's satire" thing just feels like an excuse. When some of the stuff you're saying is true, some of is literal lies, and other parts are just weird off-kilter "jokes", and you tie the entire thing together under the loose umbrella of "satire" the entire thing just feels really sloppy and flippant. CinemaSins used to be good, but they've really let their structure fall to the wolves in recent years

"If you want, you can buy a revolver inside the festival..." You know, I ran across something similar in real life. At a county fair, you couldn't get through the front gate if you had one of a few types of items and had to either return it to your car or permanently surrender it. Like knives. Now, get past the gate and go only so many feet to the sales area. All the switch blades and cutting utensils that money could buy. So...these things really do happen. Guess if you are honest enough to drop that family antique knife into a disposal box, then you are honest enough to carry around a new knife with no threat of doing anything harmful with it.

As someone who is familiar with steam locomotives there are several aspects of the locomotive delorean scenes that do not represent the realities of steam technology. 1) As the locomotive falls off the uncompleted bridge the driving wheels of the locomotive would have speed up immensely as it fell. This locomotive like most has no governor, the load on the engine would have decreased and it's engine rpm would have risen dramatically. 2) In the movie they used pyrotechnic fireworks to represent the locomotive hitting the bottom of Eastwood ravine, it wouldn't have looked like that with little missles flying around. 3) The presto logs that doc brown made would simply not have been able to have any kind of instantaneous effect on the locomotives boiler. Heat transfer takes time. 4) The final prestolog also would not have made the boiler explode how it did, the smoke stack doesn't hold that much pressure. 5) It's very unlikely that a steam locomotive would both blow up like this and continue to operate.

13:18 Not only is this homage to a Clint Eastwood film, but it is a very accurate way of using armor. When wearing ballistic armor, guess what it covers? That exact area.
Because not only does it contain most vital organs, but it is the most common target. Even trained military personnel with rifles are taught to shoot at center mass to increase the chance of a hit. A pistol, with it's shortened range, being fired from the hip (which lowers precision), would take immense skill to hit the head from that distance when trying to outdraw someone else. While it wouldn't be impossible, the smart shot is for the chest to guarantee a kill or to at least heavily wound so you can finish them off.
