You have explained a lot of things very well. I am still learning to setup my CBO. I started the journey way back 5 years ago and registered by CBO. I have also managed to build my offices and also got friends to furnish them. We did all the policy documents and have been doing local fundraising for supporting the community. I think it is time for grant writing. I have gained a lot in this clip. Asante.
Here in 2024

is it advisable to send proposal and visit the organization?
If the purpose is to follow up on the proposal, my general advice is- this may not be appropriate especially if its a competitive process. However, remember ideally you should submit proposals to funders that you have a relationship with. This means if the funder needs to clarify a point, then its easy for them to reach out to you.
Building relationships with donors before submitting a proposal is crucial. When they know you and your work beforehand, it creates trust and makes it easier for them to engage if they have any questions. Plus, it increases the likelihood that they’ll consider your proposal seriously. It's all about connecting and maintaining open communication!
I really need and pray that u can be my mentor
