I know 27 inches is deemed too big for 1080P and I wasn't so sure about that so I have both this monitor and and a 1440P one. The latter is definitely sharper, but going back and forth between the two it really comes down to what kind of games you play. If you like FPS and fast paced games then framerate and response time are objectively more import than resolution. If you mostly play RTS or slow paced story driven games then sure, 1440P even at 60 fps makes more sense. This monitor is regularly heavily discounted and I got mine for 70 euros. @@Highlife24_Is your monitor still alive?
i have this same monitor but doesnt give me the option to enable hdr in windows display settings. How did you enable hdr?
@@zetagaming4534 hey mate did switching to a Hdmi cable fix your problems with the mesh when running fast paste games ? This king about buying the same monitor but seeing you mention your problems makes me think twice
Gigabyte G27F 2 vs ASUS VG279Q which one is better?
I've had Gigabyte for about a year, however my display has had to be replaced twice in less than a year due to black lines, which is really aggravating. For now, go with Asus.
Would this be good for 120 fps for ps5
my question too
No llega alos 10 bits que yo sepa e.e
I have bought this monitor in march. And am dissapointed VERY. Worst monitor I ever had. After few months of use black lines started to appear on the bottom of the screen. Now they are almost across half of display. If I set refresh rate to more than 100Hz lines dissapear. But problem is if I run older games that don't support refresh rate higher than 60Hz, lines appear and games are almost unplayable at that time. So If I set refresh rate lover than or 100Hz lines are there. So as soon as I get new monitor Samsung G7, I will send Gigabyte back and never buy any Gigabyte product again.
Calm down! Bro
Is this a true 8-Bit monitor?

Great!
I got this monitor like less than a year ago and now there’s stripes. My other monitor works completely normal and idk how to fix the stripes 😢
if you have warranty contact support
You can't fix it, Its a fabric issue. Send it to warranty.
I guess there is no perfect budget monitor
I’m having a problem where I can’t change my refresh rate, it’s capped at 60hz and I can’t stop it from being 4K, it’s forcing 4K idk what to do
i hate to be that guy but im having this issue too, did you ever find a fix or this?
@@ash-xl3ry nah, I’m j taking it back tomorrow lol, gonna get a dif monitor
I do not recommend, 2 purchased one 27 the other 24 inches both with dead green pixel
I don't want to be an asshole but the moment you said the HDR experience on this is "good" you disqualified yourself from reviewing monitors seriously. Also i feel like the whole content of this video just got made because of affiliate links. I obviously can't proof that but i just got that vibe and wanted to be honest about it. Cam footage looks nice though.
If you’re going to quote me, please quote me completely. “Good for the price while also considering everything else the monitor provides”
@@TypeCTechReviews Thank you for your review
Any chance the 180hz g24f 2 will be reviewd as well?
Thanks!
@@TypeCTechReviews That doesn’t change the fact that the HDR Experience is absolutely trash. You should call it out as it is.
HDR is for OLEDs

@@RageDaKnggGhz why are you asking everyone this question
@@mma.vidz. because it has mass malfunction of the matrices, due to which Gigabyte recalled these models. At the same time, I found similar monitors for $70 that were written off from stores for this reason, so I was thinking about purchasing and wanted to know the approximate percentage of failure
