Aw, thank you!
This was so interesting to watch! I am very curious about the taste! 😱😱😍😍
Thank you!
just watched the buckwheat/quinoa [fermented] bread recipe....I wonder if they could be combined...have a little ferment/sourdough taste for "beanloaf"
Thanks for the recipe. Can I substitute the oat flour with quinoa flour?
Thank you Ana! I have never tried using quinoa flour in this recipe, so I am not sure. Oat flour is more binding than quinoa flour, so that's something to think about. The flaxseed meal helps with the binding too though, so the quinoa flour might work as a substitute. Please, let me know how it goes if you give it a try.
@@nutritionrefinedasmr7025 thanks for your reply. Will give it a try :)
Nice😊
Thank you!
@@nutritionrefinedasmr7025 thank you for reply me and your welcome🤗
Oats need to be labeled as gluten free to be truly gluten free right?
yes
Glaze recipe?
A+ thumbnail ! What is on top ?
It's a glaze - tomato paste, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar :)
@@nutritionrefinedasmr7025- WoW sounds great ! Going to try that next time ! Thank you Petra !
I miss listening to your husband's remarks!

So vegetarians n vegans dont believe in eating animals but replicate that. Makes no sense to me. I have made incredible veggie burgers n fed them to meat eaters who believed they were eating " meat". So maybe I can comprehend this recipe. But I never make faux meat/ fish/ chicken cuz I will not consume animals... I made veggie burgers for me, meat eaters thought it was " meat"
It's not that serious, making faux meat inspired dishes aren't supporting anything...it's just food and without the meat so it's not anything negative as health-wise it is better!
@@Blackice929 he's right. I've seen so many vegans pretend to barf when someone only mentions meat, but then cook "fake meats" and try to mimic eggs and milk all the time. and their argument about morality of eating animals, makes no sense as it is known that plants actually think, feel pain, and learn and talk to eachother, even die for their young. you know, some years ago, I discovered I'm gluten intolerant. after cutting off gluten, do you think I started to look for substitutes for bread and pastries? no, I switched to meat, and vegies, with some fruit. I barely even eat beans, and no grains. cause I don't miss bread at all. clearly, vegans miss meat, while pretending to barf at it
I can only speak for myself... personally, I don't eat animal products for health reasons (it was recommended to me by my doctor). However, my husband as well as my kids still eat animal products. My husband eats anything and everything (meat, fish, dairy ...). My kids refuse to eat meat and fish (they simply don't like it) but love butter and yogurt. I don't like the idea of cooking 2 separate dinners (one for me and one for my husband). So, I do like to prepare meals he is used to (meatloaf, burgers, mac & cheese) but try to base them on plants. He still cooks steaks, chicken wings, etc. for himself but when I cook, I try to make something everyone one (including our kids) will eat at dinner table. I was never really fond of meat, so I don't miss meatloaf or burgers, but my husband does. I could probably live off salads and smoothies. I will gladly eat lentil loaf, but if I was cooking just for myself, I would just make quinoa salad.
Real vegetarians and vegans don't eat meat because they don't like the idea of killing animals and taking karmic reactions for that. It's not a question of taste buds. Tastes differ. That's why there's nothing wrong with replacing meat with plants. It's as simple as that. Killing plants is less harmful for your karma. There are even ways to take off negativity from killing plants for food. But, of course, if you are so much concerned about killing plants, I suggest that you learn how to eat air or travel to another planet maybe. 🚀
@@Blackice929 "Meatloaf" is about the combination of flavors and textures; not about the meat at all.
