    I just made this for Christmas dinner! My brother and sister in law liked it, and they're not plant based! Also made mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, asparagus, broccoli, sliced cucumbers and sliced tomatoes, and your pumpkin pie! It was all delicious!

    Love your channel! Here's another tip for your paper liner...turn your bread pan over and mold the paper to the outside... THEN it fits easy inside...!

    I made this tonight! So delicious and healthy!!! Mushrooms, beans, whole grains, and cabbage - can't beat that for a healthy "meat" loaf!! I made it with the scalloped potatoes, and a salad!!! This meal was so hearty that I didn't even want dessert! Thank you Jill!

    I finally got the buckwheat and made this yesterday. It was AWESOME!!! We absoultely loved it!! My husband even asked this morning, "we're having some more of that loaf tonight, right??" LOL!!

    I made this and it is delicious! It held its shape well too! We had it for dinner and then meatloaf sandwiches the next day. It did make a mess of my kitchen using so many appliances, blender and food processor, but completely worth it!

    I made the meatloaf for Thanksgiving, even though I didn’t have the buckwheat groats I used farro, however I soaked it with the quinoa and it still came out very good. Thanks again for sharing another great recipe.

      Just made it and replaced buckwheat with lentils because i don't like buckwheat but hopefully it comes out good like yours lol

    I'm liking this, my daughter really doesn't like nuts like a lot of people use for the "texture" . I have to agree that I do tend to just taste the nut instead of the blending of the flavors 😊 So I'm liken this one 👍😁 thank you for sharing this ❤️

    Hi Jill! This recipe sounds delicious! I accidentally discovered making a “not meatloaf” when I tried your sundried tomato and olive bread recipe. 😂 My equipment and oven are different than yours so mine came out more like “a loaf.” We put ketchup on top and ate it that way. It was still tasty and delicious. Thank you for all your wonderful recipes! 🙏🏼

    Hi Jill... I absolutely love your show, I discovered you during a 21 day water only fast, it’s your shows that nutritionalized my soul and helped carry me through this journey... Hands down, you’re absolutely The Best & Most Informative (WFP SOS Free) cooking show out there...I’ve already embarked on making some of these wonderfully, delicious recipes, as I’ve printed nearly every one over the course of this 3 week journey, plus I ordered your book from Amazon, and received it in the mail this week... Yay!
    I have learned so much from you, even though I’ve been on a WFP diet for almost 6 years now... I now know, I wasn’t doing it quite as healthy as I should or could be... Nutritional yeast for instance, I was not aware of the difference between fortified and non-fortified...For that I’m extremely grateful! Thank you!

      @@debbierisse5867 Hi Debbie, Most Nutritional Yeast has been fortified with synthetic B vitamins and folic acid, and one brand that Jill mentions, that's all natural, is Sari, although not sold in Canada. However, I've found another brand called Trim Healthy Mama's Nutritional Yeast, which is also all natural, and I'm able to purchase in Canada... I hope that helps!

    I'm trying to convince my adult son to go vegan. Some people especially men have to tip toe into making the change. This is a recipe that lends itself to half ground meat and half plant based mixture. But I'm fine with it just the way you make it. Thx.

    We had this for dinner this week and it was terrific! Served with PB mashed potatoes, PB gravy, and green beans just like before going plant based; my husband was so excited. Just the right texture for sandwich leftovers! Thanks for always excellent content.

    Thank you for this recipe -- I've had others but this is the best!!! It slices and stays together. I try to only have gluten when eating sourdough bread and this meatloaf makes a great sandwich and using the topping as a ketchup -- terrific!

    I am definitely going to try this recipe. I will make a little bit of change (I always do it). I will put 1/2 of ketchup in to meatloaf, and rest split between bottom and top.

    my sauce i use on top of my (much more basic) vegan meatloaf is just a modified bbq sauce really but i do like to spread it on the base of the pan first so i have that same flavoursome glaze underneath AND on top! gonna try your recipe now. im sure it will kick the heck outa my basic one. lol

    very similar to mine I make a vegan loaf with diced portabella mushroom sweet onions re-fried beans and three diced cooked medium potatoes. Italian bread crumbs an egg, tomato paste.

    knowing myself I would double the sauce..spread out half the mixture and then put sauce and try to put the rest of mixture on top then more sauce but it would probably be hard to spread the 2nd layer on top of sauce..yummy

    I used to love Amy's vegan meatloaf !! They're so yummy 😋 I had tried a recipe of vegan meatloaf back in the '90's when I was a vegan...though I don't remember how that turned out !! Lol.

    I'll definitely give this a try, will be a nice change from my usual lentil loaf. Tbh though, I'll probably still serve it with a mushroom gravy (although I'll try it with the tomato topping first!). Looks amazing Jill, thank you!

      Unless you really love cumin don't waste time on the topping, it overpowered the whole loaf... Had to scrape it off.

    Ty! This is a great recipe. You could put any leftovers in this “Neatloaf” to make it delicious-corn, carrots, chopped spinach, whatever-a everything but the kitchen sink Neatloaf. Growing up decades ago my Mom didn’t use a tomato topping but I like the idea! ❤

    Looks so delicious, i use silicone pans for pop out recipes. Easy clean up and saves money.
