Thank you Your tutorial are the best I’ve seen on UA-cam, I’m a contrast painter myself and I’ve been following your lessons for my seraphon, learning your techniques and tips made me step up so much, once again thanks for what you’re doing, you’re awesome 💪
These new Kroxigor sculpts are so good I feel like just about any color scheme is going to look nice. The weapon handle looks really interesting. Cheers Mr. Matt.
All videos you make are very cool. i particularly appreciate videos with old models like 5th editions. Models you paint are so wonderful. And sorry for my poor english ... Keep doing a good job and take care of yourself!
Amazing video again! Your videos are both informative and very relaxing and inspiring all at once! As someone else said I’d love to see you do a carnosaur or stegadon!
The scheme looks awesome! And I'm sure it would look just as awesome on my Stormdrakes...will probably stick with the darker blue tho. My ideas for alternative kroxigor schemes would be either a strong red with cream white (If it works on an old Harley-Davidson, why wouldn't it work on a giant lizard?) or a warm grey with bright orange chest.
Great ideas! I'm actually leaning towards a cream and red for it. Maybe a yellowish cream and a bright orangey red. But something along those lines would be fun
I’d really like to see a Kroxigor painted dark green to match the dark green Saurus warrior you did. Would also go with your dark green, red, orange, and yellow Aggradon rider. Thanks for the content!
Really well done, aside others I like your Lizardmen tutorials. Maybe for future videos a monster like a carnosaur or a stegadon? Also, great editing of the videos and I like the zooming up close for when you’re painting details. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words! I do have a Carnosaur in the pile of shame, I was thinking about painting that one next. Maybe an alternate Starborne scheme. Thanks for the suggestion!
Your painting and presentation are great. I'm not a fan of such strongly silver highlights on gold and brass and usually either add a bit of Cassandora Yellow to the color, or glaze over silver highlights with Cassandora to keep the highlight but bring the hue back to the base color.
Thanks! No Nighthaunt on the channel yet but hopefully one day. I don't have any of their range in my pile of shame at the moment, but if I get some I'll be sure to paint it for the channel!
I don't own that color so I can't test it out for you, but I think it would work. It does look pretty close. You may have to adjust the highlight colors though, because they're designed for the mixes mentioned in the video. If you do end up testing it out, feel free to join our discord and share your results! Thanks for watching!
Hey Matt, for the last Kroxigor that you have to paint can you do a really punchy red, orange, or yellow tone? I normally struggle with those colors, and I think they look really good on lizardmen.
Thanks for the suggestion! In the meantime I do have a Spawn of Chotec painting guide which has some of those colors ua-cam.com/video/UKabyTU3QPM/v-deo.htmlsi=CAURt4iwiQc1e_mW
Great video buddy❤ I have a question: can you make video with couple of paint techniques to paint sylvaneth especially bark, trees etc. I dodatkowo know wich one is the best ( slapchop, contrast, airbrush or mix ) to make autumn trees. Cheers mate!
There are a lot of good techniques out there. I don't do a lot of terrain but some autumn trees would be a lot of fun! I imagine that would use a lot of drybrushing.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
As a primarily contrast painter, I LOVE how well the seraphon minis take contrast paints. Even the old 5th edition WHFB saurus.
Great stuff Matt
I agree they go great together! Thanks for watching!
Another excellent tutorial. Thanks Matt.
Glad you liked it, and thanks for watching!
Thank you

I agree, they're great models, and they almost paint themselves! Thanks for watching!
Amazing tutorial! Would love to see a red kroxigor next!
Good idea! Thanks for watching!

Thank you! I love the old 5th edition models too. I'll try to include more of the old stuff on the channel!
Beautiful work ❤

You convinced me. I'm going to paint my army with your videos!
Awesome! That's great to hear. Please share your results on Discord or Instagram, and good luck!

Really loving you job matt, keep on it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for your video, very pleasant to follow and very informative. I subscribe and can't wait to see the next ones!
Awesome, thank you!
You made a troll video a while back thank you for that it taught me blending with the contrast paint and water, and dry brushing bringing it together.
That's great to hear! I'm really glad it helped you out. Happy painting!
Stunning work
Thanks!
Fine fine, you convinced me, subscribed lol on a serious note, might have to try out this now. great job
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you here. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching and for the suggestion!
Another great video. Would love to see how you tackled an Albino skin scheme.
Good idea! Thanks for watching!

Excellent tutorial, and nice voice.
I'm currently attempting to paint up my Krox in yellow and black, adapting your Starforged recipe. I'd love to see something along those lines.
Yellow and black sounds like a cool combination!
Your painting and presentation are great.

Thanks for watching! Good idea for a more yellow highlight mix!
Amzing work dude, might even have to get back to AoS coz of this ;)
Khorne thema next :)
Thanks for watching! Hope you make it back, or at least pick up a few models to paint; they're a lot of fun!
Fantastic!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Liked, subscribed, and saved to personal playlist to review again as needed. Do you do nighthaunt tutorials by chance? or have any planned?
Thanks! No Nighthaunt on the channel yet but hopefully one day. I don't have any of their range in my pile of shame at the moment, but if I get some I'll be sure to paint it for the channel!
Do you think Nighthaunt Gloom would work as a replacer for the Thunderhawk Blue/Contrast mixture?
I don't own that color so I can't test it out for you, but I think it would work. It does look pretty close. You may have to adjust the highlight colors though, because they're designed for the mixes mentioned in the video. So cool , could you make some warspawned kroxigor like the box art someday ? 😊
Thanks for the suggestion!

@@MattsHobbyHourTrees and walking trees aka another sylvaneth units also ;)
Could've used kroxigor blue contrast from citadel!
Could have! It's close but not quite the same.
excellent as always mate! just curious with your brushes im on the rosemary website, is it the SERIES 99. POINTED PURE SABLE? cheers.
Yep that's the one! Make sure you get the short handles.
@@MattsHobbyHour was just about to ask haha. cheers dude.
Can we do more seraphon because im starting to collect them
That's a good reason! Thanks for watching!
Make the next 1 White/Black
That is a cool idea!
Be cool to see how you tackle an albino sheme.
I may just have to! We've had a few suggestions for it. Thanks for watching!
😎😎
Purple and Green...some people just want to watch the world burn :)
Gotta go against the grain! ;)
Same way you paint a dragon.
Of only it wasn't necessary to paint so many models for sigmar/old world
yes that is the sad reality! Too many models and not enough time!
