Mechanics always recommend changing the fuel pump and that does not solve the damage. What lubricant do you put on the rubber rings? Additional. What safety precautions should I take when disassembling and working this area of the gas tank? I want to do this work and these tests soon. Thank you very much in advance.

Hi, brother. Thank you for your comprensive picture about inside of fuel pump. But i have a problem with my sportage 2008 year 2 gasoline. It normally starts. But sometimes after hard accelaration and sometimes after ride on bad roads didnt start. I had clean filter and mouth of pump by thiner.

I have KIA SORENTO 2.5L DIESEL 2005. I have a starting problem. But only from Hot. When Engine is cold starts fist time ( little delay) and run all day. When I stop it,it cranks over and refuses to start until cold (Or if I spray easy start in the air vent (egr, value it goes) . I put one way control value in the diesel line. and have changed tank pump. Still does it. any suggestions ?

A check valve on fuel line out of tank can help it not back feed..

I think the problem is your fuel pump not the filter when the fuel pump bad, it stop (When the fuel pump is pressed by driving)

did you check fuse and relay ?

did you check the wires ? there is power in the wire before connect fuel pump ?
