Gospelspeak #89: The Quest for Zion

With the continued movement of the Church and its members to the western part of the country, the Prophet Joseph received several revelations addressing the establishment of Zion. With the main body of the Church beginning to assemble in the Kirtland, Ohio area, the Lord revealed his intent that the land of Missouri {was} the land which he {the Lord} had appointed and consecrated for the gathering of the saints ... and the place for the city of Zion. Thus began the earnest quest for the building up of Zion in the unsettled (at the time) boundaries of the United States.
