Gospelspeak #90: The Language of God

By the latter part of 1831, several revelations had been received and recorded by the Prophet Joseph. At a conference held during the month of November, the compilation and publication of these revelations was considered by those in attendance, and it was determined that Oliver Cowdery and John Whitmer should take the manuscripts to Independence where W.W. Phelps would publish them as the "Book of Commandments". With this added volume of scripture, we are once again given a testimony of the true Language of God, which we find to be consistent throughout all the works of scripture which we have in our possession today.
