I don't even get how that's supposed to work out as far as going after Max, because even if he's say only 6 tenths ahead of second, if second is 3 tenths ahead of third, they have to worry about defending against getting passed. Which means that DRS isn't going to do much to get them ahead of Max.
I can't decide if Ferrari announcing Hamilton as a driver before the season start was a moronic move or pure genius. On the one hand, Sainz is going to spend the whole season not caring one bit about being a team player, but I'm not sure there was a more effective way of motivating him to do well this season. F1 is a lot more fun to watch if you imagine that Max is driving a single seat pace car. In that world we had the lead change hands multiple times and a decent battle to see who got the last points position. In either world, we had several on track overtakes and a welcome lack of DRS trains. 8/10.
