I was dealt a shit hand but things have been looking up 1:06 are you basically saying ignorance is bliss, i have always looked at it this way, once you learn something you cant just unsee it. it seems burdensome to me at times. sometimes i get irate when i hear people complain about something first world, catastrophize, people who wish for things all the time, stuff like that 1:10 could the husband be another way of saying ego mind? 1:18 i can concur that i felt trashed and at the end of my rope when i first found your channel, say 2 years ago? sometimes i still do... its not often and i can usually narrow it down to be dealt with. i think rituals healthy are a good way to old destroy frame works/clean wine skins, for me its gardening, bike riding and holding space for myself to contemplate, preferably in nature. Tea, pen and paper are my favorite, something akin to automatic writing. While i do not condone drug use, i find psilocybin helps for added perspectives, neurogenesis and a good medicine for someone like me with complex PTSD. Again I am not advocating the use psilocybin, it could also backfire on you if you are not in touch with yourself you could get a major slap of reality you may not be prepared for. For example you mention anxiety about smoking but this is actually placebo effect as your own psyche producing undue stress on self... Many of the longest lived people were actually smokers such as jeanne clement. I myself have met many older people as well. Nicotine resembles acetylcholine. Et al. The knowledge is the power. It's metaphor. Grabbing a natural process or anything from history, then claiming it's all Gods doing is what Abrahamic religion is all about. They didn't originate anything but new wrapping paper. Judaism and Christianity are carriers for a template. I work on showing others the template, not the non-interpreted, supernatural, thinking not required, religious box. We have to get through the religion as if it were going through a Greek myth. At the core is a mentally interactive process for self healing. The path to enlightenment carried inside a verbal box by the very masses who will never look inside and will deny something is in their material. We need to be interpreting these like days of old.
