Some of these experts lack knowledge. "Paul was more famous than Jesus because of his writing?" He wrote about Jesus, and the entire New Testament is about Jesus. "Early Christians were attracted to rituals." This was a free will movement, and countless people died for that belief. I was not attracted to Christianity or any of the rituals- I mocked them. Now I am in love with Jesus because the living God visited me, I received the Holy Spirit and was completely changed.
I agree with you. There is a lot of slightly misleading information in the video. And there is speculation which leads to assumptions. We all know what assume stands for, make a.... out of u and me. I prefer to read the Bible and get my information from there. Anything outside of that is both not important or relevant and can lead a person astray. Make up you on mind and let the Holly Spirit lead you in the correct way. Be careful about following "experts". I find educated Experts in the Bible also, they were call Sadducees and Pharisees. And we see where that got them.
All you need to is BELIEVE that Christ was the Son of God, he Died for our sins and was resurrected form the grave 3 days later, is in heaven now with God, left the Holy Spirit here with man until his return, that all have signed and come short of the glory of God, and confess your sins to Jesus and you will be forgiven.
He's saying Paul is "far better known" as in we have more direct evidence of his own thoughts and ideas because of his writings, so we know more about him personally. We have no direct writings from Jesus himself.

May God bless you and the new life that Christ has given you. Indeed as the above comment, begin a habit of reading God’s Word daily, I recommended the daily one year Bible reading plan. My wife and I are actually reading it, great way to get daily reading in and getting through the whole Bible in a year. Of course you can read way more than that in a given day if you are able to. Some people don’t talk about the divinity of Christ, but as we read through the scriptures, it is evident. Praise the Lord and may He bless everyone and that we may all be in full obedience to Him.

Those are good things to strive for. But that's NOT what Jesus focused on. He would tell you to repent of your sins and follow him. He would say you need to born again, this time being born of the Spirit. He said that in John 3, where Jesus continued:
[16] For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. [18] Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Take your time with it. Everyone's journey is different. I was also brought up Anglican, but it wasn't until i went to college and studied about the cosmos and philosophy of life did my faith in an intelligent mind behind creation strengthen.
Doing research on other beliefs ever one mentions one man - Jesus. So i got to understand he was literally God (the intelligent mind) who became a man. I will say do your research (not blind faith) but at the same time just ask God to reveal the truth to you even if you do not believe. Watch what will happen. I can assure you you'll be surprised.

I've been a Catholic Christian all my life since I was a infant and I attended Catholic church mass every Saturday or Sunday and never once has Christianity done me any harm. I even have a friend of mine who isn't a catholic but who happens to be a Baptist and is planning on becoming a Baptist minister. He and I have our different Christian views but still I consider him a good friend and I consider him a Brother in Christ. And I have another friend of mine who isn't Catholic but who happens to be a Greek Orthodox Christian. He and I may have our different Christian views but still I consider him a good friend and a Brother in Christ too.

I have been bible studying heavily lately, trying to understand it in a deeper context and this documentary has done justice to the questions I had been faced with and explains the time and era so visually that I really feel I have developed a deeper understanding of the life of Jesus, the birth of Christianity, the difference from Jews and Christians, the personal points of views of the books of the new testament and much more. I am currently watching it again taking notes to teach my sons. Thank you!!!

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

Read the Bible it is full of the life of Jesus. It will not only educate you it will awaken your spirit. The first time I read the Bible it changed me in a way that I can not describe. The Bible is alive and will bring you to life. There is no book like the Bible ❤️

And read it in the King James Version. That older English form will ennoble your appreciation for the language. Every child should learn the Bible in the KJV (old middle English?) just to get grounded in that historic language.

@@gabepace9296 Yep. My dad (whom I inherited the last name from) has some Irish ancestors. He didn't grow up in a very Catholic home but he went to a Catholic highschool. My mom has a fair bit of German blood from her mom's side who was very strongly Catholic. My maternal Grandpa was a member of Church of Christ, but to my knowledge, my mom has always identified as a staunch Catholic. My parents are both Catholic now and I was baptized in a Catholic church when I was way too young to remember.

I'm a Buddhist but I'm curious about this religion. I have to say, if I was a Christian, I would be very upset by evangelicals calling themselves "Christians," it doesn't seem they believe in anything Christlike. I'll keep my Buddhism, thank you, but I do see the wisdom in some of its teachings. Aloha brothers & sisters! I'm so upset by how modern society is going, with its multiple false prophets. I believe the separation of Church & State people were very wise for maximal freedom. Where did the humanity, the compassion, the magnanimity and equality go?

This documentary would never be made today. It is scary how in 25 years that the belief in Christ /church attendance has declined and likewise how our global society has also declined.
