I'm getting this to strap down on the back of my kayak as a kayak crate. Easy to carry, dividers, locking lid, easy to open with one hand, pretty sure it'll float until recovered, and rugged build quality. And maybe even use it as a tool box once in a while.
I have two of these they are great. It can fit my fuel 7 1/4 circular saw with a 12a battery, lots of room! Putting the nailer in there is a good idea.
Sitting there holding it down for 10 minutes while drinking a beer is dedication. Cheers!

I found it on eBay a few years back.
It held up well for ip65 which is only good for everything up to submersion.
That would be a nice cooler. Probably not very insulated. 😜. I do like how many tools you can fit in there. 👍🏻

We don’t all have Milwaukee tools, so the water could be effective. Was it the gasket or the case?
I put my brad nailer on one side and all the boxes of brads on the other side.
