Robert! Congratulations sir! You are the lucky winner of the Milwaukee Packout Showcase giveaway! Please email us at info @ coptool dot com so we can get your Packout goodies sent your direction. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Started my packout set up about 10 months ago. Great system, especially on multi story jobs like installing cabinets and trimming out apartment units on 3rd and 4th floors. Big time saver. A little costly, but well worth it.
in all reality id love to see the bottom 2 wheeled box have a door on the front instead of on the top. removing 6 packouts to get to your big tools gets frustrating sometimes
I think this is designed for transporting tools, not for ease of access. Pack up your tools, wheel them to where the job is, then unpack them. But front access to some of the boxes would be sweet.
This is what is holding me back from the packout system. I've been considering using this for movable storage in my workshop, but it is not friendly for my needs. BUT the wall mount packout system is highly attractive.
Love my Packout setup. The ONLY thing I'd like changed would be to be able to open the rolling toolbox from the front so I don't have to take the other stuff off to get to the tools inside, as I need the 3 drawer box on top for some of the work I do. But it's possible a front opening might compromise it's ability to support the boxes on top.
Milwaukee could make a dedicated first aid pack out case large enough to store medical supplies to control a major bleed or to splint a broken limb, hot/cold packs etc. that’d be cool.
That's a good idea. I just got the rolling tool box and organizer. I'm an installer and I bust my hands up 24/7. I just keep gauze and ace wrap in my packout
A great addition would be a ruggedized laptop case that you could put on the top of the stack with a place for the laptop and a place for a USB docking station of some kind to make it easy to get to the ports you may need while on an I.T. job site. I love the stack I have now! Got it on a great sale last Christmas. Have all of my tools and accessories I need for just about any I.T. job. Great video!
The cooler needs to be a thermoelectric unit, and use Milwaukee's tool batteries to power it. A heat mode would also be nice so you can have a warm lunch on those cold jobs.
I've got about 30-35 pieces of the pack out stuff and love it, wish I had more. The radio looks like a nice edition. Suggestions would be for a 12volt/115volt cooler option for my service van.
A slide out socket/wrench organizer to make working a breeze would be great. Definately interested in one of these. Oh and a charger for the m12 as well

I realize this was at least three years old, but dude I couldn't stop coming up with these. Thanks for the brain-workout!
Awesome tool system people!!! Here are a few suggestions to expand your product line to a few other demographic groups. How about an all-white-color system for use on boats. Similar boxes could be configured for boat owners as well as pier fishermen for all things fishing. Most lower end fishing boats don’t have good provisions for equipment storage, or a place to keep them secure. For the pier fisherman, many fishing spots are far from a parking area, and might be off road. Beef up the tires, add rod holders, and maybe a mounting place for a beach umbrella. Look at some surf cart designs. Just think of how your company could engineer your pack out products for marine use. Another idea would be for the camping crowd. Hunters, overlanders, of just plain families with 2.3 children, could appreciate a system designed for them. Get off your stockholders safe red/white color pallete and expand to tan, OD green, camouflage or black. Engineer mounts for Jeep/Truck racks, as well as side-by-side and 4 wheel atvs. And let’s not forget blue for our law enforcement, and back to red to include all of our brave first responders. Open your minds Milwaukee. Hire me to expand on these ideas...and others...if you dare. I’ll settle today for your contest’s first place prize. 😎
looked it up again last night, about $350 for tool only, and it is basically for car tires or trim carpentry work with low air flow rate, but it is a start. Air tools are not the future anyway, at least not portable type outside of a shop. Batteries just keep getting better and cheaper, or bigger and more expensive ;-)
@@natekrabill7812 i just re-watched the promo video on Milwaukee's site, they have it on top a packout stack twice in the video, so i just assumed it had the cleats, maybe not, but looks light enough to just set on top and take around to work, could add a bungee cord to make extra secure, but yah would be nice to lock into boxes
@@ToolShow I DID buy my packout from @OhioPowerTool just recently. They were the first to sell it for $199. HomeDepot would NOT price-match...only give me a good deal (no thanks). I chose to wait for shipping by ordering from OPT. Their service was AWESOME! Shipping was fast as reasonably expexted...two days only because of backorder....still NOT BAD! Now I just look to order from them in the future. Oh yes...NOW HD wants to reduce their price to $199. Go figure! Too late...goto OPT for great service and competitive pricing.
While I don't yet have any Packout Gear, I would love to see Milwaukee make a Packout powerbar for corded tools on the jobsite. That Packout Radio is killer!
I have the three tool box packout and I really love it. Everybody in the shop look at it and say wow! I'm proud to work with it and it secure all my tools in one place.
Some sort of mobile office box for papers, documents, laptop. Marking and cards. Pretty much brining back the briefcase, but packout for those of us who go on sites needing to do our business whatever that might be .
The pull out drawer system is a great option. I want one. Another idea is to have a platform just to snap in place to fasten other items bags or boxes in place (to modify to fit or provide other solutions. Another idea is to have a a fitting assembly for most Milwaukee cordless tools that SNAP to the cordless tool and onto the PACKOUT. (That’s a must). Hope this helps.
Australian site has this www.milwaukeetool.com.au/search?q=first+aid&lang=en_AU Somewhere I saw someone 3d printing trays and providing first aid contents for the half-width packout
Go figure, it’s offered in Australia but not the US. Thanks for the link. I would assume it would be offered in the states as well, soon enough I’m sure
@Belts and Boxes. Great review Rob of all the offerings in PACKOUT. What does Milwaukee need in PACKOUT? How about a PACKOUT box that I can store all my M12 or M18 batteries in compartments or bins to keep them from bumping into each other? That's what I'm doing now but keeping them in Dewalt Toughsystem 1.0 small 22 in tool boxes. Hope you, Sarah, the staff at BAB, and your families stay safe and well.
I have the pack out with the 2-9 inch wheels. It looks as though the handle should fold almost flat with the top of the box but I can't figure out how to get it to retract completely. Does it retract all the way flat?
My first time to watch your station, FANTASTIC. I have been a Craftsman guy for 60 years. I have some big projects coming up and I plan on buying Milwaukee based on everything I have listened to today. I would like to see a fold out work bench built in to the 2 wheel cart. Thanks All the best S. Bakker
Wow and I just bought some of the Dewalt Tough System. Now I'm really regretting it. I thought the Milwaukee system felt so much nicer in the store but I didn't see the mounting system on the website. Still, I'd like to see some additions like mountable clipboards, maybe a drawer case that stores and charges batteries, a "two wheel cart" that comes with a long extension cable and power strip so you can plug in your devices, radio, chargers, etc. While they're at it make tabletop powertools compatible. Why not have a tabletop saw or small drill press snap to the top of your packout? The possibilities are limitless really. One thing I've only seen from no-name brands is a system where you can pull out those little nut and bolt cups and they snap right on your tool belt and have lids so you can carry them up a ladder no issue.
would a 4 foot ladder holder for the side work? i have 20 foot aisles at my work. but also sometimes i use elevators or go a cross a rock covered roof.
@@robanderson84 That might throw the whole thing off balance though, last thing you want is the whole thing tipping. Milwaukee makes a benchtop work surface for their packout system so maybe they could make a low profile piece for the top/just under the work surface that has clips on the FRONT of the packout, that way you can attach a small ladder, shovel, axe, whatever to the front of the packout stack. Maybe have a zip system so it can accommodate multiple sizes/shapes of handles. like a releasable zip tie. Damn, I'm about to get my engineering degree and now I want to work for a tool company lol. That would actually be a nice gig, I'd have fun and get plenty of take home toys
@@SavingPvtOBrien yah i would agree, a ladder holder on the opposite side of the handle would probably be better, unless you had an equally bulky item on the other side ;) good thought! I would work for an out door company or a tool company if i was smarter or change some day, i fix things now.
They got the 3x3 rapid charger; trust me i know it ain’t packout brother. So I got tired of waiting on the tool gods to deliver so i attached it to a 1/2 slim organizer. Works pretty flipping fantastic for me .
This was the greatest pack out video I’ve ever seen!! Don’t know who Sarah is, but love love love her packout!! ❤️😘. Packout cordless tool hanger would be epic!! Milwaukee, you listening??!!! 😂😎🤙
I'd like to see the following packout additions: vacuum with auto start for cordless tools, 2 drawer packout with a small and large drawer, single drawer packout compatible with the small packout box organizers, 2 wheel hand cart with M18 Fuel powertredz, packout rapid charge station
Dude if they got into camping and outdoor stuff too, that'd be amazing, they'd definitely make some useful things. I keep hoping they consider making something with solar power and their batteries.
Packout accessories that hang on the silver rails. Coozies, a whatsit to hang a tape measure, level holder, etc. We just need MORE places to put stuff!
I am an industrial painter and drywaller...I love this system but it would be nice to have a water jug with a spicket for mixing and quicker clean up...and I absolutely need that speaker !!! So cool !!!
I looked into the one JakeofAll made, but i settled on full size organizers on top. That way my big items are on the bottom and my small parts or supplies are on top
Rob, this video was definitely top notch. I know how much time it took to make it happen. This is legendary! Also, PackOut needs to do an integrated rocket light into the cart where it extends up and stays with the cart. The click in light box is cool but when you need to get to a lower box, you have to move your light.....
Thanks Devin! I knew you'd be able to appreciate the effort it takes to make a video like this one. We've been watching your channel! GRATS on 13k bud!
Well thought out gear. Easy snap together for multi transport and stre. No one is better from what I've seen. Fold out work-surface/trestle for joiners. Optional 3 wheels on trolley for stairs. Somewhere to hang big tools like wrenches and panel saws. Popup umbrella for rain or sunshade. Site safety notice board. Big tag for owners name. Method to lock it all together and to a post.
Packout Cart Additions: - Folding legs and rails for a Miter Saw, Larger Work Table, or just two mountable Folding Horses - Ramp/Rail and Wench to get it in the truck without breaking down (or up Stairs, or up the side of a Building) - Ammo Case, but no *Riffle Case - Does the Fuel Site Table Saw fits into the system? or other site Table Saw - Lower Profile under the lid case, to keep the square nice
Snapping PACKOUT into existance is only my second best super power. My primary is winning TVs. I've won 7 TVs in different contests in my life. For real. /flex
Do you remember the old tool box that was metal and folded out of the side like an old fishing tackle box. That with the pack out click system would rock....
Milwaukee needs to come out with a power station pack out system. So you can plug up your batteries like the m18’s or m12’s to charge them and to use it as an inverter😍
Two things 1 cable spooled that clicks to the top of you tool box or even click to the plates that could be fitted in your van. You could have a pole that fits between two of them for more cables 2 - a thin long organiser for 450 mm length drill bits. This could come with inserts to click the right diameter drills. Spacers to split it up. You could even just make the spacers and insert to fit into the tool case. I have many more ideas but I will save them for me
Great job ! Had me entertained and had my full attention throughout entire clip. Definitely going forward with this set up. Coffee maker would be great addition!!
Hello ya’ll long time subscriber first time poster..😀.. I think Milwaukee should make a m12 hot glue gun... before you stop reading..hear me out first... not only can you use it in the work shop but you can let your spouse use it for there projects as well.. justifies you buying more tools from Milwaukee and in turn more packout cases... it’s a win win for everyone!!! 🤣🤣
Working in commercial hospitality construction, I use a cordless hot glue gun for various things like fixing cove base or as a quick grab adhesive while stronger glues cure.
My packout rolling tool box handle is to tall to fit in Chevy Silverado truck bed with a tonneau cover. The box fits but the handle is just a few inches to high. I have to roll it in on it's side.
Pack out small efficient food oven for one like the example in the link, except they could use Milwaukee 12 amp hour batteries. I have a 120 volt version, about 44 watts, I use all the time in my back yard, to cook a meal from 1 solar panel, a marine battery and a inverter. it cooks for about 4 hours, like frozen lasagna is good, or rice with a pork chop ect. make it more efficient to be dc powered so no conversion loss from dc to ac with top off device. Also add a folding solar panel for charging batteries, lots of guys work outside in the sun. www.amazon.com/Hot-Logic-Mini-Version-Blue/dp/B074TYC7DY/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=food+oven&qid=1606027659&sr=8-3
Love my Packout But I would like to be able to open the rolling toolbox from the front with a one pivot rock down dump out drawer so you can get to see all your tools slotted in it's place so I don't have to take the other stuff off the top get to the tools inside
@@ericfick3048 Thanks for the info. Hmm. Milwaukee's patent filed in November 2018 and looks like they'll use the PACKOUT rolling box. Must mean Dewalt's patent expired. But we're two years afterwards. I heard Jay from Ohio Power Tools let it out Milwaukee just came out with their green lasers as some company's patent on the special self-leveling function just expired. I'll always remember how Dewalt sued Milwaukee and Bosch a few years ago when they sold worksite radios with a charger function (Dewalt held the patent at that time). Now I always consider whether somethings not made cause another company hold a patent. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
I'm going with a packout m18 fridge and a packout m18 fuel coffee maker , and a packout stand hard hat/cap holder and for sure a packout cup holder and a packout magnetic plate to hold bolts 🔩
Hi I have a question if you can help me, is it possible to lift the handle of the packout nummber 2 when packout organizer slim is mounted on top of it?
I have to carry large boxes of gear into the job site, expensive homes a lot of times and it would be nice to have a foldable 2 wheel cart that would fit with the packout system. It would snap into the racks for the truck pack. Also, floor cleats that I could mount in the deck of my truck that would hold the pack to the truck floor for travel. The last thing I would like is a cup holder for my yeti that could snap into a packout lid.
How many times did I fall out of my chair, got back on, and STILL fell out of my chair with your next "snap"? I lost count! MilwauWEE!!! I'm gettin' one! Thx for sharing.
Definitely in for a PackOut coffee maker!!!!

Mathematically speaking he is right , and you cannot disprove it..... lmfao
I actually burst out laughing 😂
Literally came to say that
I made a note on my hand when I heard it, just to make a comment... #tooslow
Hey, how about a bottom unit that has the MX fuel generator and power outlets, usb, and m18 and m12 chargers all built in .
I was just thinking about that today!!!!

"2 times quieter than things that are twice as loud" Rob is a meme lord
God tier writting
If y'all trying to sweet talk me into rigging the contest so you get the PACKOUT, that's totally likely to work. ;-)
Akshually, it's 50% quieter than things that are twice as loud, but I like how you're thinking.
in all reality id love to see the bottom 2 wheeled box have a door on the front instead of on the top. removing 6 packouts to get to your big tools gets frustrating sometimes
Best Comment So Far.

I would love to see some kind of lock system so my tools don’t get taken while I run into the hardware store.
Dude, that's the best first 4 minutes in a video I've ever seen, holy crap
Hey love packout. Packout needs the bottom box to open from the front so you dont need to take the whole stack apart
Milwaukee needs to sell the M18 tools with a precut foam filled packout case instead of blowmolded case
THIS forever and ever. So frustrating.
So true, probably wouldn't cost them anymore than the blowmolded cases & they'd sell a ton of dolly's or two wheelers
Or better yet, a pack out that can house several m18 tools. Multiple drills/ impacts, reciprocal saw, drimmel tool...😎

@@robanderson84 it is not part of the pack out system
@@natekrabill7812 i just re-watched the promo video on Milwaukee's site, they have it on top a packout stack twice in the video, so i just assumed it had the cleats, maybe not, but looks light enough to just set on top and take around to work, could add a bungee cord to make extra secure, but yah would be nice to lock into boxes
Probably one of the best tool reviews I’ve ever seen. If they were to make one thing I’d buy immediately is a pack out space heater
Awww thanks James.
I’ve got two organizers. One is in the car and is used to keep bike rack items together, the other my modeling kit. Simply fantastic.
Thanks for the shout out! If you don't want to hurt Rob's feelings give us a call!
I ask SO LITTLE of these people! Just buy your PACKOUT HERE: www.ohiopowertool.com/m-105-milwaukee-packout-tool-bags-belts.aspx
PACKOUT Charging station!
How about a 24” packout OLED Monitor/TV with google chromecast or Apple Air Play
I’m fixing to go broke I think😳😳😳
"THE PACKWAGON"
A top box with wheels and a handle so you can lay your stack all the way down and pull it on 4 wheels LIKE A WAGON
Thanks for doing this! Was considering starting to buy the packout stuff and this overview was super helpful, not to mention entertaining!
Milwaukee is killing it! How about a Milwaukee pack out work table that folds up like the Dewalt Express!
How about a packout motorized wheel cart?! For going up the stairs easier...🤔🤓🧐
I like your idea but consider this, Milwaukee Packout Go Kart or Doombuggy. Ride around in style.
I thought that was the job of the young new guy. Pack mule.
I wish they would make some sort of wheel chock or brake, to keep the rolling boxes from rolling around my truck
They should make a packout charging station that can charge multiple batteries. Like the multi charger, but in packout form!!!
sounds like they are making some kind of packout charger with LED lights on it, not sure if it can do more than one battery
Sarah..... this man needs a raise.
Oh also besides my first comment, a nice little feature would be a packout first aid kit, we all know how often injuries, cuts happen on the job site
Australian site has this www.milwaukeetool.com.au/search?q=first+aid&lang=en_AU
Somewhere I saw someone 3d printing trays and providing first aid contents for the half-width packout
Go figure, it’s offered in Australia but not the US. Thanks for the link. I would assume it would be offered in the states as well, soon enough I’m sure
@@BuckshotM That's what paper towels and electrical tape is for.
@@barry99705 that’s what I used to think until I got a bacterial infection in my hand and had to have surgery and then was out of work for 3.5 months
I'd like to see a packout multi station rapid charger.
What would be really useful is a Packout toolbox with magnetic sides - could hold bits, fasteners, small tools - even tape measures!!
@@SavingPvtOBrien oh and a rubber type of reusable handle holder/band would be good to keep rubbing on things to a minimum, and keep it from rattling
As an electrician. I would like to see a packout step-up for those just out of reach wall lights. It could also double up as a storage box.
I just deadass stand on mine...
I would like to see a good labeling system built in. Or maybe a charger that can do like 4 m18 and 4 m12s maybe.
They got the 3x3 rapid charger; trust me i know it ain’t packout brother. So I got tired of waiting on the tool gods to deliver so i attached it to a 1/2 slim organizer. Works pretty flipping fantastic for me .
Integrated gfi power strip for the bottom pack out of the “2 wheel cart”
This was the greatest pack out video I’ve ever seen!! Don’t know who Sarah is, but love love love her packout!! ❤️😘. Packout cordless tool hanger would be epic!! Milwaukee, you listening??!!! 😂😎🤙
I'd like to see the following packout additions: vacuum with auto start for cordless tools, 2 drawer packout with a small and large drawer, single drawer packout compatible with the small packout box organizers, 2 wheel hand cart with M18 Fuel powertredz, packout rapid charge station
A tool I would like Milwaukee to add to the Packout system. A water jug. To hydrate your crew as the day goes on.
Yes this would be pretty cool
Just buy the cooler. Get another if one's not enough.
@@shadowbanned58 but the cooler dosent have an outlet/tap
@@Jori_M get a drill. :)
I live in Minnesota. I put ice in my new packout cooler on Dec 3rd. Now its the middle of February and the ice is still there. Now thats Quality.
Packout should totally do attachments now. Like a foldable stool.
So cool !!!
I’d love to see Milwaukee make a lid for the packout crates.
They did but it’s kinda wonky in my opinion
Check out the guys at Kaizen, I think they make one.
@@ToolShow thanks so much!
I’d like to see various colors so that I could more easily spot the packout I need for a particular task.
The PACKOUT system in Europe is black, I can only assume because Milwaukee loves Europe more than ‘Murica. /grumble
Ever hear of Krylon?
Get your painting skills going
Great showcase! I’d like to see Milwaukee come out with a base to allow your non pack out Milwaukee cases to attach to your pack out boxes!
Packout Cart Additions:
- Folding legs and rails for a Miter Saw, Larger Work Table, or just two mountable Folding Horses
- Ramp/Rail and Wench to get it in the truck without breaking down (or up Stairs, or up the side of a Building)
- Ammo Case, but no *Riffle Case
- Does the Fuel Site Table Saw fits into the system? or other site Table Saw
- Lower Profile under the lid case, to keep the square nice
It would be nice if they incorporated a clamp system into the bench top, for the days you need an extra hand.
Wish I too could snap my fingers and get all the Packout!
Would love to see a Milwaukee Packout Dust Extractor!

This was the first video I’ve seen from you guys it was great 👍 best video by far about the pack out system
That means a lot man. A ton of work goes into our in-depth videos like this. Glad it was useful to ya.
Milwaukee should make a pack out portapotty so that you literally never have to leave the job site at all. Imagine the productivity that could be had.
Add a fold out large cot, or inflatable bed.
Milwaukee should definitely do a packout coffee maker and a microwave.
If they did a microwave it would be a hit with Hispanics
No real Mexicans bring a propane burner the kind that uses the skinny long propane cans.
Do you remember the old tool box that was metal and folded out of the side like an old fishing tackle box. That with the pack out click system would rock....
I would like to see a packout small wire spool holder.
Agreed that would be fucking sweet
Milwaukee needs to come out with a power station pack out system. So you can plug up your batteries like the m18’s or m12’s to charge them and to use it as an inverter😍
Two things
1 cable spooled that clicks to the top of you tool box or even click to the plates that could be fitted in your van. You could have a pole that fits between two of them for more cables
2 - a thin long organiser for 450 mm length drill bits. This could come with inserts to click the right diameter drills. Spacers to split it up. You could even just make the spacers and insert to fit into the tool case. I have many more ideas but I will save them for me
Amazing deal! I'd add a Pack Out Light Tower for the 2 wheel cart system.
They should make a packout miter saw stand!
Great job ! Had me entertained and had my full attention throughout entire clip.
Definitely going forward with this set up.
Coffee maker would be great addition!!
Foam Kneeling pad for the pack out system!
Happy wife, happy life
My packout rolling tool box handle is to tall to fit in Chevy Silverado truck bed with a tonneau cover. The box fits but the handle is just a few inches to high. I have to roll it in on it's side.
Im tired of eating cold lunches. Microwave has to be the next edition of packout!

Love my Packout But I would like to be able to open the rolling toolbox from the front with a one pivot rock down dump out drawer so you can get to see all your tools slotted in it's place so I don't have to take the other stuff off the top get to the tools inside
I’m thinking they need a m18 charger station/power house for corded tools on site and recharging multiple batts on the go
Dewalt has a power station that uses 4 20V MAX or Flexvolt batteries. So I guess Milwaukee will need to waIt until Dewalt's patent expires.
A Milwaukee version of a spider box with m18 and m12 chargers would be even better
As everyone has said we need a coffee maker. Also a packout m18 fan would be nice.
They could add some magnetic strips to them or magnetic accessories!
I’d definitely love a packout coffee maker!!! Gonna get one instantly as it’s available at my local dealer!!!
They should make a large toolbox that opens from the front!
How many times did I fall out of my chair, got back on, and STILL fell out of my chair with your next "snap"? I lost count! MilwauWEE!!! I'm gettin' one! Thx for sharing.
How about a Packout version of their 2 gallon air compressor? :)
Amazing stuff they should make a pack out that has solar panels on it :) now that sounds cool
How about adding a battery and charger storage "shelf" for inside the large or medium tool box that hold M-18 and M-12 batts and combo chargers?
