This is not the full story. 1) Is it LED 2) is it Pulsing 3) is it a laser 4) how far away are you from the light source, as this can damage your eyes if you look into the light, this "clip" is taken out of a full almost 3 hour episode from Huberman Podcast, be careful folks.
You mean I can’t just cure my nearsightedness with red leds from temu?
No, these are not just red lights. They are special lights, so don’t trust any lights from temu and be very careful with your eyes, get professional help!
@Prospero812 they were joking 🤦
@@fyodordochievsky4376Im currently experimenting doing focal exercises where I focus on an object and slowly pull away and repeate for a few minutes. I feel some mild pain above and behind the eye doing so. Have you tried something similar or heard of such a thing? I have -3.75 nearsightedness in my right eye.
@@tommyhurst90You don't know that

Just to be clear. Is it safe to use a near and infrared lamp and point it to your face without having any eye protection?
Ummmmmmmmm, I don't know but just to be safe don't do it xd
Ask 15 professional people before you do it.
No, i tried and now im blind, this is false advice
I mean... there is a difference between "red, visible light", and "infrared light"... they are not the same thing. And the difference is kind of important.
as i understand it - you should never use 'near red' light on your eyes .
I asked my optometrist, she said it's okay. So you decide for yourself.
