She probably put some foam in for volume and diffused accordingly, but that’s what mostly everyone using a brush to style will do (with varying products) it’s a similar result to the denman brush, tangle teezer and so on, so looks real to me

Would a wide tooth comb not work the same. Also where do I find this brush???
I've tried a wide toothed comb and I didn't get good results. For some reason, the brush is different. I highly recommend it.
Should I put all the product in my hair before brushing?
Depending on your hair type we typically recommend using products before but if you’re using a gel or hair spray use those after!
