My personal favorite is the T sport but they all have a different purpose that’s why it’s cool you have them all set up differently. All three of your bikes and even the one you sold are my dream bikes.

Man this is probably the fourth video of yours I've found that answers my questions. I do a 60 mile commute to work and want the right fairing for me. Think I'll flip a coin between LRST and LRS with a T sport

Right on man! I think you could definitely get away with that type of riding with a Memphis Shades Road Warrior

t-sport fairing by far for me. Road Warrior with a 15" tall windshield...about to go to California from Texas this July 4th.

Just got back from my first out of state trip with my FXRT fairing. Absolutely helps take the wind off your body. But yes it is still good enough to get through the city. White lined the cross island parkway when it was an absolute standstill.

I'm currently running the RWD TXR fairing from Russ Wernimont, it's slightly bigger than the T-sport fairing and has a superior mounting system albeit expensive, but it's a really high quality piece with better windshield options and it has the ability to bolt speakers and amps into the fairing without needing to buy a third party system with a bracket to adapt to the fairing. Although I'm not interested in putting a stereo on my Dyna, the amp area is going to make a good glove compartment area where I can also mount my Radenso radar detector. (And probably a FGC9 when the Fed crashes.)
Stereo installation is an important factor for some, two of my coworkers chose Memphis Shades Road Warriors for their bikes because they knew they could add pre-manufactured stereo systems designed for the Road Warrior, and I'm guessing a lot of Lowrider S guys will be choosing that option too. Memphis Shades also offers many windshield options for different heights which is very important as slightest height differences can make a very uncomfortable and annoying buffeting issues that will give a rider a headache in minutes.
Although it's poo pooed by the teenage FXR purist snobs , I'm considering picking up a FXRP set-up for my Dyna, my recent trip to Colorado/New Mexico/Texas/Arkansas/Tennessee/Kentucky on Father Bobber's Cross Country where I rode at 100mph plus for hours at a time has me reconsidering my long term plans about my Dyna build...there's a definite difference between short highway blast at those speeds and hours of it and highway pods increase your ability to add much needed illumination to see the chupracabras near Roswell at night...also staying away from Harley dealerships with STs in stock. I ordered a taller windshield for the TXR fairing and I'll see how it does at high speeds before I make that decision.

Definitely looking forward to the FXRP idea - God knows an FXR purist is not a fan of any bike I've gotten my hands on 🗽⚡️

FXRT fairing is absolutely the best fairing for blocking wind. We can all have our preference as far as looks of all these fairings, but there is no question the fxrt is the best wind blocking fairing of the 3.

Quarter fairing looks the best in my opinion, but at 6’ I get a decent amount of head bobbling from wind deflecting to my helmet on the highway which after a while gets annoying and tiring for my neck.

How was the buffeting with Memphis Shade Road Warrior? I will be doing a trip from Dallas to Miami soon and I’m thinking about using the regular fairing. Any suggestions, tips or advice?

It all comes down to your height - For me, at 5'7 with a 11'' and 13'' shield, I never had buffeting from a road warrior

Would the Memphis shades road warrior e considered a t sport fairing since the origin of it comes from the mo co fxdxt ??? And it’s and exact fairing and single design ?

Do you find the original t sport on the dx blocks more wind and is better quality the road warrior tim running roar warrior now and thinking about switching to the original t sport style fairing

I had a 16 inch windshield on my Dyna, it gave me such brutal buffeting at 6ft2 I could barely focus on the road. If youre 6ft+ it seems that buffeting is a real problem.

1/4 Fairing has been the best that I've ran out of tsport, rifle, and 1/4 fairings. By far the least high speed wobble out of the group. An FXRT or FXRP fairing is for FXR's only. Sorry fellow dyna bros, it's the truth. No matter how much FXR stuff you put on your dyna, it's still a dyna which is inferior bike to the FXR but a superior bike to the fake new softail dynas. I run FXR motor mounts and I don't go around saying I have an FXR ahahahaah

    • @FXDLSBrooklyn
      @FXDLSBrooklyn  2 роки тому

I do not disagree with this, however, I still love my FXRT on my dyna 🗽⚡️

@@FXDLSBrooklyn found that purist you guys were talking about! I recently inherited my father's 89 FXRS Convertible. He has a wind screen attached to it, but I'm leaning towards a fairing. I don't want a huge RT or RP fairing. I'm thinking quarter or the one from Krator.

I worry if you can see at night through the black screen on the tsport.
