NEW KRATOR FAIRING | ROAD WARRIOR / T SPORT | DYNA / FXR | Install and Review

- Today we install the brand new KRATOR FAIRING (2.0) for our 2016 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob. The new version of this fairing is suppose to improve aerodynamics, better mounting and a better windshield in a package for around $135 or so. Not to mention it fits from 35mm - 49mm forks! Which means it should more than likely fit Dynas, Sportsters, FXR's, etc. So if you want that Club style fairing, for a cheaper price, we think is the one.
In this video, we go through the entire installation process of the fairing and go for a rip with it. Overall, we think this fairing looks great! and is performing pretty well out the gate. We've even heard that you CAN install a Memphis Shades windshield on this fairing as well, since this is basically a clone of their Road Warrior fairing.
Let us know what your thoughts are about this new fairing in the comments?

Just ordered this exact setup for my Low Rider S. Can't wait to get it and install it.
It's a pretty good fairing for the price, we still have it on our street bob and it's holding up.
I have an older version of this fairing on my 2011 Wide Glide. I love it. I ride with just a peanut helmet and glasses and it keeps the wind out of my face. I do have the same vibration issue when I’m on bumpier roads but if I’m on the highway or smooth rosado it doesn’t make too much noise.
Thanks for the comment! Yeah they really are great fairings, we put one of the older ones of Josh's Wide Glide and he loves it! Especially after we got it dialed in the right spot.
That new Krator tho!!
Are the brackets adjustable? I’m trying to get these for my sportster which has 39mm forks
Yes so they saw that this does work with 39 mm forks. The fork clamps do have different slots to clamp down on smaller forks. Take a look at the link on Amazon, just to be sure. But i think you should be all good!
That looks pretty sweet hope it works well for ya?
I hope so too! So far this thing is rad
will this fairing work on a 2020 softail standard?
Not sure exactly, but I'd say there is a good chance it would. Since it mounts to 49mm forks, you will just need to make sure your headlight isn't too big, I believe my dyna headlight is 5 3/4 inch.
How is the tint at night? Can you see well?
It's not too bad, as long as your not fully looking through it because it does limit some of the immediate front view
I think the Memphis shade "smoked" windshields are a tad lighter than this, so getting one of those windshields, maybe slightly lower, would work a bit better
What bars are you running? I like them a lot
I honestly don't know what they are called, they came with the bike. There definitely like a "meat hook" T-bar. Might be able to search that a bit and see if you can find them. They are pretty rad, I've since changed to a different setup, but they were a fun bar setup.
@@crooksmoto okay sounds good thank you it looks really good man! Hey I followed you on instagram are you out of Washington or Idaho?
I’m in WA if you’re ever in the area for a ride
@@dominicquiroz7230 Right on! Thanks for following on IG! We are out of Idaho these days, I used to live in WA. Definitely will keep that in mind for next year!
You have issues with yours moving alot back and forth?
It does shake a bit for sure, I tried throwing some rubber washers between the fairing and windshield, not sure if it helps though. I also have engine mounts that are going bad, so my dynas a bit extra shakey
My quick release won’t snap in and completely lock
I had some trouble with that too, it was that my lower clamps were too low, I'd loosen the clamps and try and get it to slot in solid then tighten the fork clamps back down. Best of luck!
@@crooksmoto the positions are dialed in but the lip on the latch doesn’t fully grab even when it’s fully “locked” it slips open when I pull up on the latch without unlocking it and the fairing fell off when I tugged on it a bit.
You might try seeing if the angle is straight where the latch lines up with the mounting point too, also maybe try to see the fork mount will lock in not mounted to the bike. Just the fork mount to the fairing mount. You may also have a faulty piece perhaps and might try contacting Krator.
During idle this shakes so bad Im afraid it gonna fall off
It definitely does the same on mine, my front motor mount is pretty old, so that might help if I replace it.
