Recently got some of those wire connectors based on your recommendation. They sell wire crimpers too, and they work great. Some heat shrink on top and it looks professional.
The fairing really makes the bike looks even better. I was never a fan of the big clear windshield but these fairings look good 👍 😊🤘

I am waiting for Advance to make items for the 2005 soft tail springer. That will kill my wallet. I love the look of all the Advan body parts and would like to get some for mine.

I put LED bulbs in all my marker lights on my 1992 Dodge D-350. The blinkers would just stay on. The blinker relay runs or flops on the thermal load induced by the current draw. Solution was to install a 50 ohm resister on the ground side.
Oh man, I wish Advanblack would adapt this on the Indian Springfield or the chief, it would look so good on them
I just gave away two day makers like that. They didn't fit, and i couldn't return. Wish i know you needed them. It could of been a Merry Christmas present frim the North Pole!

All you need is a reducer to clip into the power wire to tge light just like when you try to put led lights on older cars you can gey them at auto parts stores there easy the pinch in tge wires it will stop the codes

As for the RED light on regarding the headlight....the computer don't learn during those yr models & a "resistor" is needed to put within the pwr supply to the headlight....

I’m going through some of the same compatibility with my bike. 2018 SportGlide and I want ti switch to actual touring style bags. Advan makes a kit to switch the LRST to them, but they say it won’t fit mine even though the LRST and SportGlide use same bags. And HogWorkz makes a kit to convert most of the other M8 Softails, but they also say won’t fit mine. At least one of them, if not both should work.

Isn't it? In high school I had a 69 Chevelle, it was 25 years old. Picture like a 1998 Honda Accord, that is as old today as my Chevelle was in high school...

So pretty sure, at least on a 17 dyna.. there are also turn signal plugs in the neck of the frame.. tap into those instead of running wires down from bars.. it would be a cleaner look for sure and not chopping the wires at switches..

I hope they can make it so i can put one on my '09 road glide. I dont use the stereo or glove boxes, so...
If they make one that fits an 09 Road King it can be done, but you would have to figure out your wiring harness.

Would you know, by chance, if the frames are the same on the 2012 Street Bob and the 2012 Fat Bob (at least where the brackets mount)? I have been trying to get an answer from AdvanBlack but all they seem to be able to tell me is that there's not a fairing kit listed per application for my fatty and that they don't accept returns. I know that; it says it on the website. Would there be a clearance issue due to my 49mm forks? Other than a paint job, intake, bars & exhaust, my bike is essentially stock.
I really want to buy one of their fairings but I can't spend that kind of money blindly. I'm not opposed to some modifications to the bracket if needed but I can't even get enough information to make that decision. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have a 2015 fat bob. Is there anything different in terms of the actual bracket between the different dyna models offered from advanblack? I was considering getting the 14-17 fxdb version since they are supposedly similar rakes in the neck.

Makes me wonder if when afding the radio since it plugs into the headlight harness if it would give the resistance to fool the bike with the red light on

Not for a breakout, the rake might be the issue. I bet it could be made to fit though if you can make a bracket based on theirs.
What bike did you say the brake light off of.... I'm trying to find something different for my 2019 Softail slim to put on the fender

Im thinking why isn’t Advanblack not getting a copyright from Harley-davidson. They have a Vin lock for st fairing.
Because they don't sell the fairing, and the fairings aren't the same.

It cant be, the headlight comes with it since its fixed to the bike. The little fairings that keep the headlight turning with the bars are quick release, but this one is too big for that.
Those old man handlebars have to go. The bars on the Road Glide ST also. They need bars and risers, the correct way. Just sayin.

Nope, not gonna stop doing stuff that is interesting and cool. And where the hell have you been? Ever heard of Reckless Industries? People have been putting batwing (by the way, it's called a batwing, not a street glide fairing) fairings on everything under the sun for DECADES.
