Klock Werks FXRP / FXRT Fairing Thoughts and Reaction - Is This the Best FXRT Fairing Available?

Disclaimer, I have yet to see this fairing in person, so I have zero hands on experience with the Klock Werks FXRP fairing.

I've been getting asked about the Klock Werks FXRP fairing, "whatcha think?" From what I've heard, it's the easiest bolt on option, from what I've HEARD. It's also the most expensive option, but you do get their iconic flared windshield.
The truth is, if you're getting someone to install this fairing, they're gonna bill you the same price for install and paint. The painter doesn't care if it's a Klock Werks or a TCMT fairing, it'll still cost you about $700-$1500 for labor either way. My Dominator fairing needed bodywork, bondo, sanding and primer. This Klock Werks fairing might not need bondo, but it'll still need bodywork(sanding, primer) and paint.
Maybe the Klock Werks has more longevity, fiberglass dries out overtime, so maybe it'll last 10-15 years before it starts to crack?? Let me know in the comments what do you think. I don't mind the extra work and time, I have the tools for it. Ride safe and thank you for stopping by.

Of all this style fairings that are produced by the manufacturers, ive noticed some m8 Softail models are excluded from "direct fitment", but also say other models require modifications. I understand that there may be some things that need done for correct fitment on a "correct fitment" application. But what about the other models? The model in question for me is the flsl slim. What mods are needed to fit on the slim? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive researched the differences in the different softail models but couldn't find any info other than looking at pictures. Thanks all ..

Good comparison between the two and good to set the expectations that yes, you'll save some money but yes, you're going to do some work. I'd honestly spend the extra to make sure it's one and done

I have the villain 2 hero and it’s been super solid . Direct fit on my dyna . Just have to drill holders for the lower mounting brackets and shield holes . They’re a lot thicker and denser and better finish than most out there . 1000 bucks shipped with all mounting brackets

The Advanblack release is a direct copy of the ST fairing including the ability to install the Rockford audio for the ST. It also costs less and is easier to install.

That’s exactly why I bought my RKS… cause now everyone aaand their sisters have a bike with that fairing or a SG/RG🤣🤣🤣
