Olympic-level performance - reminds me of watching an Olympic slalom run, shaving off microseconds. I keep smiling and thinking, "I see what he did there." I also keep thinking, "Okay what the hell just happened?" I'm not motivated or probably physically/mentally talented enough to do speedrunning like this, but just like watching slalom runners, it's a pleasure to watch someone who is so amazingly fast. It also gives me ideas I might try out when I get bored with the regular game.
Tbh I've always just focused on my own times anyway and not worried about WR or anything, so competition doesn't really matter. I find speedrunning more fun if you're just after self improvement rather than competing and after a specific time. Though I would love it if we had more runners and more competition, Skyrim deserves it imo. :)
