as someone who doesn't really watch speedruns this is insanely fun to watch wtf is happening. the way he talks and reads chat at the same time is just insane to me
They just do it again and again until it's become a habit, as part of the method is to just try a lot until you manage to luckily perform better than usual, so they don't need to focus too much on the easy parts of the speedrun. And since it's no big deal to mess up, they can be relaxed.

The boss fights legit looked right out of terminal montage. You're mashing like half a dozen end-game arrows into his eye as you're animation cancelling like a full dozen different attack animations.

I was watching botw speedruns back when shield clipping was just discovered. I had since lost interest for a few years now. With the sequel coming out I decided to watch one again. I thought things were optimized then. Wtf happened??? This man literally set up a shield clip to avoid walking through the entrance of the church??? The next 20 minutes of this is going to be awesome.

i love how the run starts like a "normale run" with +6.6 and how you got the WR with 7secs, you juste saved 12~ secs on the castle & fights, that's incredible

Spoiler about TOTK, I played the leaked version, and speedrun is not looking good cuz game sets u free after 2 hrs of tedious quests. All the glitches/tricks from BOTW are fixed cuz none works anymore atleast for me. Speedrunning is not looking good unless easy major glitch for fast traveling is found. Game is breathtaking & beautiful.

I think the attack up claymore probably saves 2-3 seconds. I would probably have saved 4 seconds regardless. I'm not actually sure what the odds are, but getting any modifier is pretty rare and there's 3 options it could have been.
I literally just finished watching pointcrow’s VOD doing this exact same speedrun thinking his 33 min was a difficult task to do, then this guy comes out on my fyp and decides to set my freaking point of view to a whole new scope
