We ended up losing our footage to the second half of the movie ( right when Akaza shows up) and thought it best to try rerecording. We ended up not reacting the same way the second time around as we had already been through the grief of the film and as you can see we weren't as emotionally affected as we were the first time around. The homie in the black Demon Slayer shirt was holding it down, at least. He was the only one not afraid to show his sadness and not hide it behind jokes. 😝 No hate to the others. I get it. Humor is a legit response to sadness. But I think it's important to find a good balance. The jokes about Rengoku's mom's boobs were a bit of a miss. 😅

Every time I watch this it gets clearer that Akaza was holding back, there are so many little details. The one I noticed that time was when Rengoku is ready to use his last form Akaza asks him “Kyojuro why?”, he’s not asking “why are you so strong” he’s asking “Why are you choosing to die instead of be a demon?”.
Unfortunately this is false. Akaza was trying, not 100% but he def was trying. Him asking rengoku to become a demon is not a valid reason being given then he stated he asked dozens of former hashira to become demons to become more powerful. Akazas personality is to fight the strong as this is also stated from akaza when he doesn’t understand why the hashiras don’t become demons as a “former strong martial artist” which he seeks power of strength. So him talking and asking rengoku to become a demon throughout the fight is not a valid reason why he wasn’t trying. Second off his compass needle. His compass needle feeds off of battle spirit which it is known that rengoku has the most pure and perfected battle spirit. Which means akazas compass needle was peaked out of its mind. Akaza notices rengokus strength, notices he’s a larger threat than tanjiro, and deploys it as insurance to make sure no matter what happens he won’t lose, which later on in 9th form which is a perception blitzing powerful move akaza avoids because of his compass needle taking effect. Which means statistically rengoku is fighting a harder and more peak version of akaza then marked giyu was in infinite castle. Akaza severely underestimates rengoku multiple occasions and that’s clear. 1 when rengoku preformed a speed blitzing attack, akaza couldn’t even react to such until again compass needle took effect and helped akaza evade the attack, 2 when rengoku dropped his 9th form, akaza was expecting rengoku to give up and become a demon because he’s seen this sight before over dozens of times from the previous hashira he proposed, and lastly when akaza implemented the final lethal blow rengoku still stuck him down. Which leads into my conclusion which is the final part where rengoku is amped. Akaza landed a lethal blow because like he promised in the beginning of the fight he was going to kill rengoku for rejecting his offer. Even while lethally wounded rengoku AMPed up and cut through 50% of akazas neck, blocking another lethal punch to the face, then proceeded to hold him down as the sun came up to the point that akaza was begging for rengoku to let go of him because of the sun, this is the most Ovb scene that akaza was trying in this moment, he was begging, shaking, and struggling. Now again I’m not saying rengoku is equal or highly relative to akaza but akaza was def trying throughout that fight; and you can’t prove otherwise.

This film was so popular but, as a manga reader, I definitely think it had some issues (other than the crappy pink CGI for the train demon). Tanjiro came across as pretty disrespectful to Rengoku, even making fun of the way he spoke loudly and initially refusing to train under him, which didn't make sense for Tanjiro's character (he's always nice and would do anything to progress as a demon slayer so he can cure Nezuko). More importantly, it was at odds with Tanjiro developing an instant rapport with Rengoku - Rengoku was extremely important to him (and this comes up later in the story). It was completely unnecessary to make Rengoku's mother seem so cold - she cared that her children were good people, and having strong morals doesn't make you some kind of a monster that starves your children of affection. In fact, it makes it more likely that she'd be loving due to having a kind heart. The worst part was that they didn't make it obvious how badly injured Tanjiro was by the time of the Akaza fight, so it seemed like Tanjiro just wasn't doing enough (especially when he didn't give chase as the sun rose). Tanjiro could barely move and he even had to ask Inosuke to help Rengoku fight instead of him, which was a huge deal (in the film they showed Tanjiro running, seemingly totally unimpaired). They also made Akaza seem a bit too nice, as if he just enjoyed fighting but didn't have a desire to kill. However, Akaza is an Upper Six demon and had maintained that title for centuries. We already saw in season 1 that Muzan won't tolerate demons that aren't sufficiently bloodthirsty amongst the Twelve Moons (demoting or killing those that don't satisfy), so just wanting to fight and constantly offering to make your opponents into demons doesn't make much sense (in the manga it came across as trash talk, but in the film Akaza was thinking it, too, meaning he was being serious).
It is the first video I checked on this channel. I did not appreciate jokes during some emotional moments. I feel it is disrespectful towards the creators of this show who spend a lot of effort to build up emotions, develop characters in the limited time frame they have got. Therefore, it is the first and last video I watched on this channel.

Tanjiro's speech was really strong and breathtaking, but all the jokes ruined it. 💔 I know that watching movies with the boys is funny, but not every scene needs a joke, the saddest scene didn't hit as hard this time as it should have. 💔

because this is the only fight with upper moon 3 and proper 1v1. Its the highest uppermoon we seen fighting. In season 2,3 we only get upper moon 4,5,6 they are lower than akaza. This fight was good level up from kids fights to the Proper Hashira fight
