Some notes: The strike squad is very honorable. There duty is to close the gate or try to even if they die. They don't want a dungeon break especially with the amount of orcs that were in that gate that could come pouring out of the gate into the real world (only a portion of the population has awakened, so for regular people it would be a massacre). I believe if a gate isn't cleared after 1 week real time it can break open, so they want to buy time and a opening fighting the boss so Jinwoo can leave and let a stronger team know so they can come in and clear the gate before it breaks open. The ability Jinwoo used was Rulers Hand, It's basically the force. He got it after killing Igris. At first it was low level so he couldn't use it on much but his daggers, and if you recall the mages and knights in the job change quest as well but not to the extent of the orc, he leveled it up enough to strangle, hold in the air and rip apart that orc, as he levels up he can use it on heavier objects, which includes magical beasts, its not exclusive to weapons. Also the body stays even after Jinwoo uses his powers, an example I can think of was in the red gate, Jinwoo already killed all the ice bears and took them as shadows but Iron (Kim Chul) came across there bodies after Jinwoo took their shadow, just before Iron found the lower ranks camp.

He did become an ally it was just expedited 😅

Yes, it was indeed Rulers Hand, the blue skill he used (already 6 episodes long) that uses telekinesis. Also keep in mind, that to this point all of his skills aren't on level 1 anymore. And of course he won't interfere as long as no one dies, arms etc can still be restored afterwards by the healer. Faking his rank and who he is into another guild (again) could have consequences for the future (in law and relationships). Also, he probably would be too proud to let Guildmaster Choi know he was sneaking around in his guild and mining like an idiot.

Just to clarify for you guys Jin woo is at mid S right now his strongest shadow igris is at mid to high A. The hunters he is with are at around mid A and the regular high orcs you have been seeing are mid A. The boss here would be around mid to high S. A little bit to remember is that any dungeons boss is one rank higher then the dungeon rank itself
