I'm amazed that a vet did something for free. Well done to them. Lovely place and lovely video. Thank you both.

Myself and a friend were staying at Beadnall bay. We caught the bus and actually walked the length of the causeway. We had no idea how far it was. We eventually arrived had 1 glass of wine in the pub and got a taxi back 😂😂 we were exhausted. Went back the next day in the motorhome though and thoroughly enjoyed it.. Definitely learnt a lesson that day 😊

The Service bus used to go to Lindisfarne in the 1990,s , because I used to get an explorer ticket 🎫 and leave the house early for the Northumberland Coast.

A lovely trip to Holy Island, we went a few years ago brought some lovely memories back as we had our mum with us. Poor little Tara, horrid things ticks, kind of the vet to do it for nothing. Great Video xx

Really enjoyed this trip Bob and Jenny, such a beautiful place, shame you had so much windy weather but you never let anything spoil your visits . Wonderful views from the lookout tower , if we were every lucky enough to visit I would not be able to get up there so at least now I know what the view was like . Glad all well with Tara . X

Horrible creatures Ticks, thought Tara may-be had hurt her paw when walking on the grid, great that you got everything sorted & the vets doing it for free, not many would do that. ☺ Really enjoying following your tour.👍

When I was a kid (many years ago) I used to go camping on the mainland with a school group and we could see the causeway from where we stayed. All too regular we saw vehicles splashing their way across, racing the tide. Very dangerous. We named (as many others probably have) the rescue hut on legs part way over as 'the Wally box'.
Glad to see all was well in the end with Tara, poor lass.
On another note, our teenage sons have noticed us watching your videos so often that you are both affectionately referred to in our house as uncle Bob and aunt Jenny. We hope you don't mind. 😉

Great look around the lovely Lindisfarne. Looks like you had a good day apart from the wind. We missed the lookout tower when we visited (we saw it but didn’t know you could go in), one for next time along with going into the priory and museum, thank you. All the best, David & Rachel 👍

I have friends who have permission to metal detect certain fields there. Interesting on the map of kingdom of Northumbria it ringed the whole of Yorkshire and the North west with it.So Glad you noticed the tic and the vet doing it for free, i don't sit on the grass anymore.

Great outcome for Tara, in these strange time's there's very little in life that's free, foot passengers & dogs go for free on the Corran ferry as we discovered whilst staying at Bunree. Anyone contemplating doing the walk from Lynton & Lynmouth to Waters meet with a dog be very aware it's absolutely infested with tick's. We were a couple of hours removing in excess of 80 ticks from our Springer Toby, followed by a trip to the vets to get him checked & his tick medication up to date, vile little beggars they are.
