I am not a motor homer, having said that, I enjoy watching your trips. And enjoy your commentaries, also when I see poppy the looks and listens to you both.It makes my day. So enjoy your adventures. And keep those videos coming.
Love Berwick Seaview ... not been since 2019 due to the pandemic etc, but booked for August. Amused to see Harthill services make an appearance ... live just over the hill to the left ... my grandparents house overlooked it. Legend has it my mum pushed me along the motorway in my pram before it opened ... not sure when it did open but assuming (and hoping!) it was some time after I was born in July 1970!
Hi Seaview, Looking forward to seeing you in June. The week always begins with a short drive to St Abbs head to see the seabirds . The boat from Seahouses to the Farne Islands to see the magical puffins. A day to Craigside and the impressive carriage drive to see the annual display of rhododendrons is always on our list for this holiday. A week is never enough time. Hope you enjoy your trip.
Drove up th A1 in my Warwick XL from Berwick to Edinburgh last Sunday, like you covered in bugs and had to wash windscreen during a break, then whole van front when back home. Can't remember a vehicle getting covered in so many bugs for over a decade. Used to be common but not so much in recent years. Thanks for the videos and enjoy your travels.
Great to see the Berwick Sea View campsite as I haven’t been there. Enjoy your trip to Lindisfarne - we went a few weeks back and I can’t believe it was the first time we had been as it was fantastic as you said. (We stayed at the Barn at Beal close to the causeway) - all the best, David 👍
Have a great time if you get on the island, not sure if i will have wifi so if you put any videos up i will catch up on Monday night, Hi to Jenny Poppy & Tara :)
Hope you're ok after your bang on the head Jenny. Love following your adventures, we have a caravan but your videos are really helpful and informative and I love seeing the dog walks too 😊🐶
Hi Bob and Jenny, great review. Kathleen and me are awaiting delivery of a 74-4i. looks like being August some time. I could do with a look at the alko chassis extensions and check if the electrics are pre wired with the 7 pin socket tie-wrapped to the chassis ready for the tow-bar. We haven’t been able to see the motorhome at all yet as there are none to see..If you’ve already covered it tell us where to find it… thanks. Alan & Kathleen. Wigan.
I think you mean a 75-4i. I didn't examine the wiring in my videos, but there is a connector available for the tow bar electrics socket. I can't check now as the Adamo went back over month ago. I had a look at the tow bar on one of my videos from Luss at Loch Lomond maybe you might see in that one.
Just had a break in Berwick. Could not get on to club site so stayed at Ord House Country park part of the best of British chain about 1 mile outside Berwick. Lovely site mostly statics with area for tourers. Loos of the year award, bar and restaurant 10 mins walk to pub and 20 mins walk to Tesco. £133 for 4 nights
Hi all. I know there is nothing more annoying than advice after the event but I would definitely have gone the alternative (shown on your google maps) route via Stirling. Coming from that area I would always avoid going through Glasgow. You could have gone A811 and stopped off for a break at the foot of Stirling castle. Great views and shops for supplies and lunch. Anyway enjoy the rest of your trip.
I’m buying a 75-4i, which is about a year old with 900 miles on the clock. It has very few of the annoying features that Bob is pointing out. For example, the reverse view camera is professionally mounted to the dash and is easily seen and, it’s not plugged into the 12v, it appears to be properly installed. The waste water has a pipe, and the outlet is next to the handle on the offside of the van. We have a microwave however, there is plenty of storage lockers, over the settees, which would not be the case where the bed is of the drop down type. My main gripe, which is tiny, is that the fridge should have an extra door shelf or two and, the fridge itself could have an extra shelf also. The electric table can be manoeuvre to sit close to and at the same height as the kitchen prep area, allowing for even greater prep space. Other than that it seems perfect, and I especially look forward to trying it out from the driver’s seat, as Bob has commented on the excellent driving experience he has had with the Adamo.
I didn't complain about the reverse view screen on this 75-4i, it's very helpfully mounted where the rear view mirror was. I would say I wish it was also a rear view screen as well as a reverse view screen. Hopefully the new versions will come with the waste pipe extension already fitted.
We've promised ourselves a visit to Berwick at some point, looks like a good site. A 3 hour drive is about enough for me with no power steering and a manual box. I guess the auto box is a big advantage?
I use the Aquaroll to fill the fresh water tank and the Wastemaster to empty the waste tank. It saves having to move the motorhome to fill up and empty. Especially useful if you are not moving for a few days. Have a look at this video ua-cam.com/video/rxLSopAm3sE/v-deo.html
After seeing you use them we bought both Aquaroll and Wastemaster and it’s transformed our stays on site. Well it has for me lugging barrels of water up and down 😂
Hi Bob, off topic a bit, But can i ask what MPG you average and also what effect towing your VW up has on it too? Many thanks... P.s we love you vlogs...👍
Our Swift does about 27 mpg on its own and about 2 miles less when towing. I did a video about the 10 most common questions about Towing with an A-frame ua-cam.com/video/6PKbDU8Edd4/v-deo.html
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thank-you Bob, we are relatively new too Motorhomes, having just purchased one after a few years of caravaning and then a campervan for the last 3 years. Enjoying watching you , Jenny and poppy...

Thanks and three days were certainly not long enough!
Love the site, it's one of our favourites. Nice walk from the site down to the sea front, with lots of information boards about the artist Lowery.
Berwick is a great location. I loved it there, Holy Island is worth a visit, hope you had a good rest.
We went to Holy Island, very nice. In a couple of videos time.
Love Berwick. We go for Christmas and New Year most years and stay at the East Ord site. Lovely town with some lovely restaurants

They could definitely do with installing a passing place opposite the Motorhome service area.

We looked at going that way, but it seemed to take much longer, but probably better.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo hi Bob. I haven’t driven it so I don’t know if the camera is permanently on or not. We will see soon.

It saves so much effort. I was a sceptic to start with, but driving an auto especially with cruise control is so much easier.
You are getting about Bob Luss the Berwick lol
Haha we are going there on Sunday for a week
Wd were on pitch 38.i had to move caravan on to the tarmac to get hitch lock on
Yes they are short those pitches.
Hiya Bob we are going to the Berwick sea view Site tomorrow. Did you find any dog friendly pubs nearby that did food?
These two were dog friendly
The Queens Head, Sandgate, Berwick
The Lindisfarne Inn, Beal TD15 2PD
Oooh Jenny hope your head is ok!
Hi Bod Jenny, your journey looks great ,can I ask out of curiosity why don’t you use the motorhome tanks for fresh and grey waste, cheers Tony 😀
