Grazie Augusto! Questa è la versione da concerto elaborata da Williams come pezzo a se. Infatti nella partitura ci sono due opzionei. cosi o come nel film, seguito dal tema della Forza che sfocia nel Finale.
I really wish this had been recorded for the original soundtrack. But hopefully John Williams records it with the Boston Pops or something in the future as well so I can slot it in at the end of the TFA OST. It's a grand piece. It's also the first post-score concert piece he's written for Star Wars since The Phantom Menace, when he wrote The Flag Parade and Adventures of Jar-Jar (pity he didn't do some for Episodes II or III, because those could have used additional concert pieces)
Yes, Ryan, JW bring here that "tragic" fragment and develop it in a very meaningful way: that's why I've chosen to perform the "Concert Version". Congrats for your deep knowledge of the OST!
No, there are two different options: film version (Jedi steps combines with Finale like in the movie) and concert version which is a longer version of Jedi steps, the one we perform in the video.
You can't do it yourself ? (It's a real question not sarcasm haha) I don't know how recording works but don't you have acess to professional recording material ? Just a thought if you're reconducing it for a new concert! I want to so bad !
HectorJW2007 Thanks! The miking of the orchestra is not detailed but gives the effect of the sond in the concert hall, a fantastic wood hall actually!:-)
never hear before this version, excelent!! do you have the new theme from Luke from the last jedi, is heard in the trailer but a few moments almost in the final chapter in the movie.
This conductor, his orchestra. I don't know if he can compose as well as he conducts, but as far as getting a performance out of an orchestra goes, I think we have a contender for when John Williams eventually passes.
This is absolutely incredible! John Williams sure knows what he is doing!
Please please please! A recorded, studio version, so amazing
:-)
Thanks!
Thanks!
the studio version of the original song is a bit too short because it has the finale song along with it , unfortunately
John Williams is simply brilliant!
Yes, absolutely!
Only brilliant he is the God of soundtracks
I agree!!!
1:36 when you get the Star Wars feels and wield your baton like it's a lightsaber.
HAHAHA Yes, It's a gesture that has come so natural with this great piece of music!!! Thanks for watching!
Oh my god! I would like to have this version of Jedi step in episode 8!!
:-))) Thanks for watching!!!
Please say you would like to see me win lotery
I got chills watching this. Absolutely amazing!
This is a great work!
Aaaaaah, the music of "Skellig Michael" where the Jedi steps scene was filmed in Ireland. Love it.
Very well done. Bravo to you and your musicians!
Thank you! LaVerdi played fabulously!
Wow. I thought this piece in the soundtrack was so brief - hearing this version is amazing!
This is the special concert arrangement JW did for public performance.
Thanks for watching!
Maravilloso!!! Es una interpretación increíblemente perfecta. Enhorabuena a la orquesta y al director. Bravo!
:-))))))))!!!
This is my new favorite thing, thank the force this exists
A really great piece of epic music!
Thanks for watching!
Dio mio, che bello!!! Non conoscevo questa versione! Bravissimi!

You're right, I will upload soon my performance of Jar Jar's Adventures from the same concert.
Love the excerpt from "Torn Apart" at 1:37. This is amazing!

Beautiful.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful!!!
Thank youuuu!!!
I watch this at least once a day.
😃 Thanks!!!
Amazing job!
Awesome.
Thanks!
The beginning, oddly enough, sounds more like the version we hear in the first few second of "Ach-To Island" from The Last Jedi.
how come there are no likes for this precious piece of work! welp now there is one like at least
Great concert arrangements longer than the film version.
Do you think it's possible to get a studio version of this song ?
Because it's beautiful.
I would like...
You can't do it yourself ? (It's a real question not sarcasm haha)

I want to so bad !
Outstanding...thank you for your fine channel! ...subbed
Thank you Brandon!!!
Magnificent!
Thank you!!!
Recording quality isn't the best but the composition is beautiful.
Thanks JW!
Recording quality may not be the best, but the performance is fantastic. Great orchestra!
HectorJW2007 Thanks!
The miking of the orchestra is not detailed but gives the effect of the sond in the concert hall, a fantastic wood hall actually!:-)
Actually, the recording comment was just a talking point on what the original poster said. I think it sounds great.
:-)))
This is great!
I'm very glad you like it!

Beautiful concert version!
Thanks !
It's really good. Shared !
Thank you Jonathan!
I thought this theme was from when yoda and obi wan go back to the jedi temple but its actually from the force awakens
Bravissimo
Grazie Fede!

Well...LONG LIFE TO JOHN WILLIAMS. I'm not a composer and JW will be unsurpassed!
Thanks for the comment!!!
Brilliant performance! Will there be a similar session of "Torn Apart" (When Han [SPOILER])?
Yes, the concert version is different from the movie one: I think for JW that short passage from "Torn Apart" was very meaningful...
Thanks!
is there music sheets to violin
I think there are only orchestral score and parts from Hal Leonard
This is beautiful, yet I expected the Force theme to come at the end :/
It will be for the next performance 👍
+Simone Pedroni Ah great !
This song alone is better than the entirety of rogue ones soundtrack
Vinicus Marcellino yeah Michael Giacchino did his best to emulate John Williams but didn't really get close for the most part.
S Js Truth
rogue one music was a bit let down only becoz he didnt had the time to compose. SW music are done over long periods whereas R1 only had a month
I find any star wars movie's soundtrack very memorable
I still prefer the 7TFA End version. None the less, this is pretty good.
I understand you. None the less JW gave us two different brilliant solutions:-)
