You can find all sorts of problems with the Prequels, but the sound track is NOT one of them. John Williams is the man, and you guys are certainly doing him justice.
TheDinoSir Star Wars is already dead dude. Disney is just milking the big name George Lucas made. You can see it in their "movies" Ep VII = A remake of Ep IV Ep VIII = bad, and not only that, lot of things dont make sense with George Lucas stories and even Ep VII.
Mew Two That’s your opinion. In MY opinion, Episode 7 was quite good, and Episode 8 was even better. The funny thing is that I’m probably a bigger Star Wars fan than you yet you’ve already dropped the franchise. If you were a real Star Wars fan you wouldn’t think so low of the series.
Who ever the two who disliked this video, what the freak is wrong wit u? This is one of John Williams best Star Wars pieces, which expresses both emotions of defeating the enemy while also getting over a loss (Qui Gon) So what de freak?!😡
It is rumored that the 8 people that disliked this are, to this day, still searching for their hearts. Seriously what heartless fiend can dislike this masterpiece
This piece is instantly recognizable, as 99% of John Williams's work is, but I was also fascinated by the shaking. I loved how passionately you got into what you were doing. (5/19/2022)
I️ believe this composition requires a specific direction depending on the specific prowess that each section exhibits. The Bass I️’s and II’s are phenomenal, and their dynamic in the beginning added more weight and tragedy to the chants overall that are captured beautifully by the conductor. The consistent looks toward the percussion and woodwinds demonstrates an understanding that the overall movement of the piece depends upon those two sections, thus allowing the chorus to sing with complete confidence and conviction with the overall atmosphere Simone creates with their conducting. Bravo
Thank you David for the comment. You are absolutely right. This piece is very demanding, but the biggest challenge is the balance between the sections of the orchestra and the Chorus. This is not very importanr for a Cd recording but for the live performance is essential. The choir seems powerful also because (you an notice here and there in the video) I've asked to the strings to play not so strongly. Thnk again for watching and for the clever review!!!
You can just tell from these performances the work that goes on behind close doors in the rehearsals. The balance, performance, attention to articulation is so evident. Bravo.
Andrew Barraclough Andrew, YES! You got the point. This music SEEMS easy, but balance is difficult to achieve. Thanks for your clever comment and for watching!
The best Duel of Fates' performance. I have been looking some videos of this song, and I have found some troubles. But this one respects everything from the original. From Colombia, all my respect to you, Maestro.
I love this rendition, only change I’d make would be to give more emphasis to the strings during that middle portion at 2:24 bc I LOVE THOSE TRIPLETS IN THE ORIGINAL. BUT THIS IS STILL AMAZING
This song is the best darn song I've ever heard in my life. It makes me want to pull out my lightsaber and kill some Sith lords! Great work John! You did it again!
A Duel. You and me. Tuesday. 1:00 pm. Naboo. The Waterfalls of Theed. No blasters or force lightning or force chokes aloud. Only lightsabers. Lets see how powerful the Sith really is against a Jedi
Amo il cinema, e per me questo brano è una delle più potenti colonne sonore degli ultimi 20 anni. Ma ammetto che vederlo diretto con una tale partecipazione è una cosa ancora più bella e ancora più potente. Complimenti, Maestro :)
My final year in highschool we did a compilation of songs from my childhood. Jurassic Park, Starwars Opener, and this. I was so sad to leave. But playing the music was so, so very much rewarding to me. A fitting farewell to eight years of band.
What a great performance maestro! Subscribed already. This a masterpiece. Come to America please, gotta see it live! I got nothing after this. Seriously... no breath, no air, no life!!! Lol

Yes! The Battle of the trees, a Celtic poem. JW was not interested in the meaning of the words and asked to be translated in Sanskrit: so I think this is the only piece of music with a Sanskrit text...🙂

ch0k1ngh4z4rd just listening to the music you can picture what the prequels could have been
The prequels were pretty great. Especially compared to the complete shit Disney has put out.
@@WallabytheThumper way too true sadly

Abdullah Bhinder probably not, they’ll most definitely continue making Star Wars movies. Too good of a franchise with so much story not too
