Sadly there are many diagnosed and undiagnosed that have suffered extreme trauma as young children! People that deny such a thing are part of the cover. The minds of precious little children are shattered as a result of many types of extreme abuse, mainly SX abuse! It’s a way for a young child’s mind to deal with severe trauma at the hands of evil, horrible creatures!!! It’s time people wake up to what really going on to the children in the world! The abuses have been allowed to go on way too long! Pray for the children
I don't think people deny that it happens. People deny the trendy DID fakers on tiktok etc with hundreds or thousands of "alters" because they think it's cool.
Nobody since the mid 20th century denies that many children are abused. In the 19th, Sigmund Freud was told by many of his female patients (from respectable bourgeoise families in Vienna) about their childhood SA. But when he published his research, the backlash (from bourgeois society!) was so extreme that he retracted, and instead came up with the “Electra complex” that said it was just young womens’ fantasy. But you should look up the history of the original psychiatrist that made this multiple-personality thing a thing, though. She LIVED OFF this one “Eve” patient for decades. And guess what? In no time flat she had actually moved in with her and they were a couple for decades. Ruthless exploitation, if it wasn’t just a scam by both. Their neighbors never noticed any difference in how the patient walked, talked, dressed or spoke to them. They were not aware she was anything other than the roommate or partner of the psychiatrist.
I am aware this happens. There is proof, and there are even medications to treat it. I just simply cannot believe this can actually happen. How can these different souls or consciousnesses or personalities be competing for access to the 5 senses in a single body? It's mind boggling to me.
To be clear, this type of disorder is a result of a severe trauma in a very young age! Mostly repeat sexual violence. The personality of the child shatters and fragments!
@RP-ly9rd I Don't know why you're comingnat me. All of the people experiencing DID that I have watched being interviewed, state there was a severe trauma experience, for many even over prolonged period of time. It is very good that we can get more informations about dissociative identity disorder and to have video material to see it live and in colour what happens in personality switchs. I wished professionals would show more how terrible it is to live with cptsd or ptsd or pDIS and DIS. Often people do not know that children which has many highstress situations in their childhood can have these conditions. It ca be negelect and violence in each design that causes these diseases. And it can be medical trauma and trauma through chronical diseases and acciedents in childhood as well the reason for these conditions. So please do not reduce trauma to sexual abuse or physical abuse in childhood. Many other things can break a person,, especially a child. Psychological trauma is neurological and it is very understandable if you know about the base knowledge about trauma. Not all people with pDIS or DIS come from kults. Many of them had been children of addicted parents or had been sick in childhood and lots of medical contacts and things like that.

I find it odd that one can simply ask for the personality to present itself, and poof. It's no different than an acting coach saying, "Show me (insert emotion)!" It almost makes it seem fake.
Depends on progress in therapy. Think of it like you are different at work than you are at a party etc and can easily switch. Children who were sexually abused at a young age may have a part that holds and ensures the abuse so the child can go to school etc

Spontaneous human combustion somehow happens almost nowhere but in Anglophone countries; pretty much like “multiple personalities”. @@dr.ryanmessatzzia6208 it took until 1980 for the DSM to even separate autism from schizophrenia. For many years, it was considered a reaction to bad mothering.
