I've been deciding for years if it's worth it. Finally, a test for accuracy I've been looking for. Thank you for this video!! Now I know what to ask my wife for my next birthday
I have run an SAR-21 since 2013. I have run the OEM trigger pack, the Timney, the Shooting Sight Tav-D, the Geissele (pronounced Guys-Lee) and the SS Tav-LE. Also installed the Geissele Lightning Trigger Bow. Makes shooting for score EASIER or I wouldn't have done the upgrade. But I can't get over the conviction that a good trigger doesn't make a gun any more accurate. Just compensates for SOME of the shooter's weaknesses. Congratulations on your new toy. Your Tavors are made in Israel rather than Pennsylvania (or were)
thanks for the comment - I've found accuracy improvements after doing trigger upgrades on my end :D maybe does help reduce shooter errors somewhat . please subscribe if you haven't already - thanks!
100% agree. I see seasoned shooters with stock triggers pull off amazing shots. I've also seen gucci guns with people with too much money completely flub shots. Training is everything.
Triggers don't affect mechanical accuracy, they only magnify or diminish shooter's ability to pull the trigger without introducing movement into the rifle
Nice video. I also have an astigmatism hence I went with the Trijicon TA50 for the majority of my mid-range rifles. I recently had an opportunity to try out the Sig Romeo 4 optics, in particular the 4H and 4t with the circle plex reticle (not the circle dot). For reasons unknown to me the circle plex has no distortion it is clear and sharp.
nice dude! glad the prism options worked out for ya - I'd be keen to try the prism options at some point too - Anything without light illuminated inside it should still give you a clear reticle, if you have good eyes/glasses and focus the reticle. thanks for the recommendations :D
Great test. But would like to see you use 75-77gr loads, as with the 1:7 Twist in the tavor its not setup to be the most accurate with the lighter grains.
Thanks, ! comparing apples to apples at least with the 55gr. Keen to try it with heavier loads - I just put in the lighting bow, so will perhaps do another with that too :D
Your Groupings were BETTER with the stock trigger. Changing the Trigger group will have nothing to do with accuracy. FYI the IDF's standard issue X-95 has a10lb trigger pull.....
A lighter trigger does make a difference but you train around "heavy" triggers. I think you could get that group tighter. I suggest taking your sweet time and maybe even more magnification. I shot my VHS-2 the other day with surplus ammo and stock trigger at 100m but using and LPVO on 6x. I got a 4 shot group in 0.98 inches. I say 4 shot because the 5th shot was a flyer and it was quite obvious it was me. Also, I was bench rested supported on my backpack and was super try harding taking about 10 minutes for those 5 shots.

Glad you enjoyed!! I finally ended up actually buying one recently , I caved :D hope you're enjoying your rifle

Accurized triggers exist in every weapon system, and they are made for a reason
Very honest report 👌

Agree - makes the rifle easier to shoot and for the shooter to reach its potential :D
please subscribe if you havent already :D
Nice comparison !

Prisms and etched reticles are criminally underated.
Helpful info, thanks
Have the geisselle pack and trigger blade. Adjusted creep and pull, it’s like an AR now. The stock trigger wasn’t horrible, I just made it better.
nice dude !
More videos with magnified optic please!
Will try Tobias! Please subscribe if you haven't already :D
@@Muddyfox47 already done.

Nice the poco range my old hang out
Great spot!
Great video. Its been 6 months since you made this. Hows your tavor still holding up? Most importantly how is the trigger pack?
hey, bud - love the gun.
the trigger pack that I used for the test is something I borrowed from my mate. his tavor is holding up solidly!!
Its interesting your gun likes the win 55g white box mine hates it and even shoots barnaul better. It really likes the pmc green tip ime.
Yeah certainly depends - id like to try some match ammo and see how she does :)
