Everyone has their own music that’s true, but growing up with this music is a lot different. Most of today’s songs, at least the ones I hear from the kids in my area grow old in weeks or months, while the music from 70 and 80 still live on. And the bands of today were influenced from the bands before them, the cycle never breaks

The Crüe is one of only a handful of bands to have completely sold out this venue. I was lucky enough to be at one of the other sold out shows at Alpine Valley, which was Rage Against the Machine's reunion show in 2007. Been to Alpine Valley tons of times, for Ozzfest, Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam... it's such a beautiful venue. If you ever have the chance to attend, i suggest you do!

I remember this show, was a huge thunderstorm in the background and they were debating to bring the Crue up or not. Glad they did because it was 1 Killer show!
It was a very special time, 1980's! I grew up less than 3 miles from this place, and was 13 when Ozzy came with Randy Rhoads for the Blizzard of Oz tour, the first REAL concert I ever saw! From then I can speculate that the next 15 years I was there every summer, almost every concert and many I got paid to watch! My mom was working at the airport and got to go for a ride on Areosmith's Leer jet! I was there the night Stevie died. And I worked the hill where he died that winter. I never needed a ticket to see the shows! If I couldn't get in with someone I knew, I jumped the fence, or sneaked in any way I could. I was there when Iron Maiden was black listed from radio! (YES THIS WAS REAL SENSORSHIP!) They would come, and 93QFM and LAZOR103 wouldn't advertise at all until the two days before the show was scheduled, and they always sold 50K or more in tickets! Fuck you sensors! Under ground metal rocks! Over the years I never needed a way down to the shows, I just waited on the square in town for someone to ask how to get there, then I had my ride! Same on the way home! It's a true shame that it's now been shut down due to lack of ticket sales because the music today just doesn't draw large crowds! Nobody sells 50,000 tickets, anywhere! I've been to 150,000 people shows! Insurance is always to blame! It's just wrong!

1989,oh man im old as the hills, sitting here rocking it though, lol
I remember this show, was a huge thunderstorm in the background and they were debating to bring the Crue up or not. Glad they did because it was 1 Killer show!
INSURMOUNTABLE...HUNGOVER...
Never get tired of this song. One of the greatest songs ever!
Oh how I wish we could go back! 70-80's music kicked it, blankets under the stars music blasting and no one bothered you, just joined the party💜
The Time Where Skinny Jeans Were Worn And Not Sagged
When Good Music Didn't Need Auto Tune... I Wish I Was Born In The 80's
Not skinny jeans. Just really tight Levi’s 501 acid wash
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME
They used backing tracks, but they still rocked
Whyyyyyy???? If you were born in the 80s you'd have missed it. Most people in this crowd will have been born late 60s/early 70s.
Don't kid yourself they still added equalizers, compressors, and limiters to vince's voice in the studio. He cant sing like this
Everyone's so uptight nowadays back then you could just let loose! Bring back the 80's!!!
Motley crue most unique band return back 2022 this music same ol situation played every day old school music today played every day never fades keeps rocking every day!!!!!

My fav crue song!
LOVE these guys! Miss the 80's!!!!!!
Micks back hurts from carrying this band all season.
His guitar tone is the band. So underrated. Actually, underappreciated. His rhythm parts are fabulous.
I got this tape for my 11th bday and jammed it in my mom's car on the way to baseball practice everyday in the spring of 1990! Good shit.
I like this story
What Motley Crue hell yes the best kick ass Rock & Roll Band of all time Bring back our only music the 80s
Ahhh this was an epic time to live through 🤘
Best decade ever was the 80's kids today will never know how much fun we had when MTV actually played videos and listening to the top 40 every week ❤️
