My parents met at a club in the 80s. My mom said my dad came up to ask her to dance, but she didn’t feel like it. Then her fave song came on. One of their first dates was a Guns N Roses concert in Jacksonville FL and they had so much fun my mom kinda passed out in a mosh pit area near the stage. My dad carried her out. They’ve been having fun since then - 30 years later ❤️

It's 2024 and I've been waiting for 30 years for a new rock band to come along that could excite me as much as Guns N' Roses....and it still hasn't happened. Axl Rose and Slash were born to make music together. When talking about the greatest rock n' roll bands of all time, GNR has to be a big part of that conversation. They were so great in those days that they transcended heavy metal and built a huge base of new fans that previously did not like rock n' roll very much.

I remember when this song came out. Back then I spent a lot of time in dark, loud and smokey heavy metal pubs and it was a real hit there.
I knew Izzy’s mom and brother. I used to work on his truck and his mom lived right down the road from me growing up. I remember helicopters landing in the field as I was getting off the bus. Best days ever. We made my school bus driver so mad playing this song so loud.

I worked at a auto detail shop in 98 in the university plaza hotel in seattle, duffs wife brought his car in for a fathers day present , i gave her a ride back to their home and brought the car back. I was like who is this tall beautiful woman she gotta be someone. I looked at some mail in the backseat and it said mckagan, she was a total sweetheart and not pretentious whatsoever. And i would never show anyone where they lived or speak about it, till now! Quality people!
Slash is my favorite guitarist of all time, but you also cannot deny what an amazing frontman Axl was. Insanely unique, talented and unpredictable. He was what rock 'n roll was all about.

Guns n roses is one of few bands that can change a song from soft rock to hard rock to soft rock and still make it all sound incredible
I prefer soft rock but sometimes I just need to listen to something loud and angry to feel better.

The music video shows different clips of their live performances, some are from their tour with Aerosmith in New Jersey, and others that are in black and white show a performance at the "Monsters of Rock" event in England, in which by sharing the stage with great bands like Kiss, Iron Maiden, and Megadeth, they managed to break the festival's attendance record, which generated many problems since after the second song of the band, there were so many people that when pushing they were left with piled bodies, endangering the safety of the attendees.
Slash comments that after playing they were in a bar celebrating, when their manager informed them that 2 young people had died during their presentation, so the band decided to present in their music video the scenes in black and white, as a way to show their condolences with this terrible event.
But the video starts in black and white in New Jersey.
