Our principal was a good guy and he was so freakin pissed and disappointed in us that we were smoking. We only had to do 1 Saturday detention and the impact of it all remains with me today. Relative to the normal terms of punishment for that we got off really easy.I think of that every time I hear this song.

God Im old. Back in the summer of 85, this was heavy rotation on Mtv ( back when they were good ) and this video would play about once an hour. We would vegetate in front of the TV, sitting through the Madonna and Michael Jackson crap just itching for this video. When it finally came on, we would lose our minds and rock out. So much fun back then! The music videos were still a new media, and by this time they were getting better, mini-movies that were awesome, 5 minutes at a time.

This was my first Crüe song. I was instantly hooked.
My mom loved this song since it's remake. She even loved this version from Motley Crüe. I loved it too. Great band and song. I grew up in the 80's.

I was in high school when this came out. This is when we were considered "hoods" for listening to this by the "preps". I remember the seniors got in trouble for smoking in the bathrooms. Lol. Went to the principles office in 83 when I was 1st grade for breaking all the crayons in to small pieces so they couldnt be used at all. The teacher was telling me how I was going to get whooped while dragging me to the office. The principal just scolded be bad and didnt do nothing. The worst whooping was from my mom when I got home when she found out.
@@jamesogrady6612 I was a senior in high school from 85 to 86. Got caught smoking on campus and got 3 licks from the principal and had a letter sent home to my parents. Moved out when they got the letter

My grandma used to sing this song all the time when I was growing up now I know where it came from one of my favorite bands that my dad got me into when I was a kid because he played dr. Feelgood a lot in the car, both have passed away now thank you grandma and Dad into Motley Crue at such a young age
