Night Comet is ridiculously OP. I ran through the game with it once, got most of the bosses first try. Malenia took a few tries but still, definitely the easiest Malenia fight so far. All you have to do is keep your distance. Btw on the topic of Malenia, the easiest I've ever beaten her was with Ancient Death Rancor and a maxed out Dung Eater puppet. Hey Matt thanks for all your hard work putting these videos together. Much appreciated. Question for you, what’s the purpose of having 2 staff’s of loss on the night comet build? Thanks again.
@shaungafford8885 Several items stack like this in Elden Ring. Quite a few seals give double bonuses for their associated school of Incantations. The off hand item doesn’t have to be upgraded either.
It’s only compatible with some ashes of war (not all). Make sure you have the swordspear too, as it’s the regular weapon you get from the enemies by tree avatars (as a drop). You should be able to put a lot of ashes on it.
Is the dark moon, deaths poker, and azur build usable together if i level up int a bit more until 80? Im planning to use dark moon/deaths poker & azur for ng+
Not too much. You should go for a light armor. Azur’s set is excellent for mages (highest magic resistance plus great elemental resistances). Even the starting Astrologer set isn’t bad.
It does, but you actually get more damage out of bigger weapons like the Swordspear (I’ve tested both with identical stats and affinities). Still, they’re both great 👍

Also is there a limit to how much mind I need and intel although I'm guessing it's 80 intel as it seems to eat a lot of my magic, many thanks for your help on this build and hope to hear from you soon and always a pleasure watching your videos, keep up the great work and time thank you 👍💯

Can moonveil work with any of these builds? Like as a main weapon combo with comet azure?
It can, but keep in mind it has a very even split between dexterity & intelligence. So you’d want minimum 40 Dex for a decent Moonveil build.
