I've been meaning to mention it for sometime but didn't since most of the vids these builds are referenced from a pretty old (excluding the thief one) but Glintstone dart is actually a cheaper Ash of War version of Glintstone Comet Shard. It goes farther than glintstone pebble, can be charged and has basically the same animation as dart but faster since it's cast from a staff. It also pierces through destructible objects and multiple enemies at a time. Sorry for not mentioning sooner
This is literally perfect timing 😂 since I’ve been crafting a Big Hat Logan cosplay for Elden Ring and here’s what I’ve come up with: Build Name: Big Hat Logan As close to lore accurate as possible cosplay build Some things will be used when you’re on low HP to symbolize Big Hat Logan Going Insane in DS1 such as the Shriek of Sorrow AOW and when using this you’ll strip down to just the Lionel’s Helm and weapons. Starting Class: Astrologer Game: NG+0 armor: Lionel’s Helm Errant sorcerer robes Vulgar Militia Gauntlets Commoners Shoes Weapon: L1: Wooden scripture shield +25 (AOW: Parry) L2: Astrologer staff (only for buffing the scimitar with Scholar’s Armament) R1: Staff of the Great Beyond +10 or Diggers staff+25 (if not using “White dragon’s Breath” (borealis’ breath) R2: Scimitar +25 (AOW: Shriek of Sorrow - only to be used after dropping to around 30% HP) Talismans: (id assume Logan was pretty squishy in DS1 so just magic related talismans) - Cerulean amber medallion +3 - Magic scorpion charm Moon of Nokstella - Primal Glintstone Blade/Radagon Icon - ancestral spirit horn charm - Crimson Amber medallion +3 (All of these will be switched out depending on what id be doing obvi) Stats: Level 150 Vigor: 50 Mind: 40 Endurance: 11 Strength: 8 Dexterity: 13 Intelligence: 70 Faith: 25 Arcane: 12 Spells: with Dark Souls comparisons Great Glintstone shard (great soul arrow) Comet (heavy great soul arrow) Glintstone Arc (just a good utility spell) Glintstone Icecrag (crystal soul spear) Night comet (just good to have) Borealis’ Mist (White Dragon Breath - literally the only reason I’m using the staff of the great beyond since Logan doesn’t use a seal in DS1) Hidden Body (this is probably how he got into the areas he did like dukes archives and sens fun house but then got caught since it wore off) Glintbalde phalanx (crystal homing soul mass) Scholar’s armament (magic weapon) Scholar’s Shield (magic shield) Great Rune: Radahn Great Rune Flasks: +12 Flasks, 8 Red, 6 blue Physick: Leaded hard tear Magic shrouding cracked tear Stats with radahn’s great rune: HP: 1665 FP: 304 Stamina: 107
Great sugestions there Fextra!! but I think its worth a honorable mention to the meteoric ore blade build, that thing scales with int and has the best heavy attack chain IMO, really fun to use now that heavy attacks are buffed on the last patch...
Where's Night Comet? The best intelligence build is Moonveil with Greatshield/Brass shield coupled with the Carian Regal staff main hand (or Prince of Death if you have high int and fth) with Staff of Loss in off hand for 30% buff to Night Sorcery. Your bread and butter spells are Night Comet and Ambush Shard: Night Comet for bosses and elite enemies, and Ambush Shard for long range one-shot sniping of all other enemies. Throw in any other spells you enjoy. Use Terra Magica when it makes sense for the 22.5% damage increase. For talismans use Shard of Alexander, Rellana's Cameo, Magic Scorpion Charm, and Graven-Mass Talisman. For Physick us Magic Tear and whatever tear works best for you or is most useful for fight. Buff with Golden Vow/Howl of Shabriri and whatever else is best for you or the fight. This build is S tier ranged AND S tier melee WITH the ability to block (and with the buffs to medium shields, the Brass shield is basically a 7 pound Greatshield now).
This is definitely a new game plus 1 or 2 build up there for sure. The average 150 build isn't going to have int build with Howl and Golden Vow equipped unfortunately. Also that is a lot of tool management there. A shield, MoonVeil and Staff of loss on the left. Another Staff on the right. I'm pretty sure when this combo works, it works. Though I cannot see both the shield, MoonVeil and the staff for offense taking priority in any one scenario. Variety I suppose
@@VoidBringer_98 it's doable at 150, though I'd just go with Golden Vow and not Howl. 175 is much better. Though the Moonveil/Brass Shield + Carian staff/staff of loss can be adapted for lower levels too. All of those items can be obtained early in the base game. As far as management, it's not difficult at all. Moonveil/Carian staff main hand, Brass Shield/staff of loss off hand. Toss a seal in either hand for buffs and incants. How I usually play this build is start with ranged spells and kite enemies around or switch to melee if/when they're close. Also, I forgot to mention to use Carian Phalanx when needed. This is especially useful in catacombs with imps or those annoying disappearing mages. Just have it pre-casted and you don't have to worry about surprises, it'll fire off and kill them before you even know they're there.
I dual wield staff of loss and use night comet through the entire DLC ng+ and it's just soooo easy, beat final boss with just night comet after 10 tries or so. Int build is just too op
Best very early game build, cheese Death Rite Bird in Caelid to get Deaths Poker. (Just have him jump off the cliff, may take several attempts. A shield helps a lot here) Grab Meteor Staff and rock sling while in Caelid. Use this til you can beat the dragon lizard in Caelid for Moonveil. For stats to use these weapons early, kill Greyoll with whatever bleed weapon (uchigatana is super easy to grab early and stat for) and cheese the Knights Calvary boss on the bridge in Caelid.
Duel staff of loss build. With the spell blade armor set. Magic scorpion, graven school talisman, graven mass talisman, and Godfrey icon. Use Ranni's dark moon to start a fight and drop magic defense then night comet away. The best magic build by far
I got the Moonveil with the Great Katana on my off hand. The katana has Glinstone Phalanx on it for a range option. Plus I got the Carian Royal Staff, it’s a nice samurai styled build while being Intelligence based
If you set the clayman's harp with ice spear to magic, it would do more dmg and you can set cold status with the ash at the begining of a boss fight and cash out more dmg per sec if set to magic infusion
It's nice to see the Carian Knight build at the near top of the list. I'm not in the DLC yet but I just beat Mohg last night. I'm doing the pre DLC Carian Knight with the Carian staff from the Study Hall and Carian Knight Sword as the main but I have other weapons I used as well. Crazy to see that DOC stuff that makes the build even stronger.
I like running my spellblade sorc with Black Knife chest piece, silent footspeps more than once helped me to reach and position myself withour enemies noticing me.
The best mage build is int/faith with Prince of Death in main hand and any other staff in off hand that gives a passive buff to the type of sorcery you are useing. Prince of Death is still the undisputed king of socrey scaling.
Did I miss the build where you use the summoned weapons? That one was a TON of fun and can be played from lvl 1. Bonus points for hitting Melenia in the head with a giant magic gavel over and over again!
Trying something inspired by your carian knight build in ng+. It's my first time actually using a shield. Being able to cast gavel of haima with a sword has been pretty fun.
I made a bill now as my fifth character where I have 60 face 60 intelligence 60 dex with a Melady Claymore and patta my God it feels good however since I'm not fixated on One that I'm not doing crazy damage, but still good damage for PVP
nah, me too. I always loved spellblades generally, combining spells and one handed swords, it always feels so cool :D And ER lets you live out that fantasy to fullest, I especially love glintblade sorceries for this playstyle

18:19 - What's this build? And/or do you have a build that uses more of those new spells or death spells?
There’s are two sides of me:
Right side: I unga therefore I bunga
Left side: plays Vergil’s dmc5 theme
Peak reference
Wing of Astel and Clayman Harpoon with Ice Spear were two of my favorite playthroughs.
Cheers Tarnished!
Same
This is literally perfect timing 😂 since I’ve been crafting a Big Hat Logan cosplay for Elden Ring and here’s what I’ve come up with:
Build Name: Big Hat Logan
As close to lore accurate as possible cosplay build
Some things will be used when you’re on low HP to symbolize Big Hat Logan Going Insane in DS1 such as the Shriek of Sorrow AOW and when using this you’ll strip down to just the Lionel’s Helm and weapons.
Starting Class: Astrologer
Game: NG+0
armor:
Lionel’s Helm
Errant sorcerer robes
Vulgar Militia Gauntlets
Commoners Shoes
Weapon:
L1: Wooden scripture shield +25 (AOW: Parry)
L2: Astrologer staff (only for buffing the scimitar with Scholar’s Armament)
R1: Staff of the Great Beyond +10 or Diggers staff+25 (if not using “White dragon’s Breath” (borealis’ breath)
R2: Scimitar +25 (AOW: Shriek of Sorrow - only to be used after dropping to around 30% HP)
Talismans: (id assume Logan was pretty squishy in DS1 so just magic related talismans)
- Cerulean amber medallion +3
- Magic scorpion charm
Moon of Nokstella
- Primal Glintstone Blade/Radagon Icon
- ancestral spirit horn charm
- Crimson Amber medallion +3
(All of these will be switched out depending on what id be doing obvi)
Stats: Level 150
Vigor: 50
Mind: 40
Endurance: 11
Strength: 8
Dexterity: 13
Intelligence: 70
Faith: 25
Arcane: 12
Spells: with Dark Souls comparisons
Great Glintstone shard (great soul arrow)
Comet (heavy great soul arrow)
Glintstone Arc (just a good utility spell)
Glintstone Icecrag (crystal soul spear)
Night comet (just good to have)
Borealis’ Mist (White Dragon Breath - literally the only reason I’m using the staff of the great beyond since Logan doesn’t use a seal in DS1)
Hidden Body (this is probably how he got into the areas he did like dukes archives and sens fun house but then got caught since it wore off)
Glintbalde phalanx (crystal homing soul mass)
Scholar’s armament (magic weapon)
Scholar’s Shield (magic shield)
Great Rune:
Radahn Great Rune
Flasks:
+12 Flasks, 8 Red, 6 blue
Physick:
Leaded hard tear
Magic shrouding cracked tear
Stats with radahn’s great rune:
HP: 1665
FP: 304
Stamina: 107
Fextra is beast when it comes to Elden Ring!

On NG+ dual staff of loss plus night comet made the game seem easy
I am on NG+3 and D/W staff of loss w/Night Comet is slicing hot knife through butter.

Love to see some updated builds that are powerful in today's version of the game! You've inspired me to try several of these 😁
Remember when you are 200+ you can pretty much run all of these builds and swap between them to keep it fun
I haven’t used moonveil since my first character back at launch but this makes me want to give it another go.
Duel staff of loss build. With the spell blade armor set. Magic scorpion, graven school talisman, graven mass talisman, and Godfrey icon. Use Ranni's dark moon to start a fight and drop magic defense then night comet away. The best magic build by far

Love these videos. I'm a Blue Baller to Dark Knight Elden Ring player myself.
Dude, you are awesome

BET! Thanks Fex I LOVE THESE!
I just cant stop playing this game - definitely one of top games I have played.
Bro, you're just a legend. Thank you for your job!
The best mage build is int/faith with Prince of Death in main hand and any other staff in off hand that gives a passive buff to the type of sorcery you are useing. Prince of Death is still the undisputed king of socrey scaling.
Pretty cool builds
No death poker build? Its one of the best weapons in the game
I’m still using sword of night and flame build. Love it
Did I miss the build where you use the summoned weapons? That one was a TON of fun and can be played from lvl 1.
Bonus points for hitting Melenia in the head with a giant magic gavel over and over again!
Will you be doing videos on the DLC weapons soon? Your best weapon type in Elden Ring series are some of the most useful reference videos out there.
Trying something inspired by your carian knight build in ng+. It's my first time actually using a shield. Being able to cast gavel of haima with a sword has been pretty fun.
Love this video. Does make sense to make a video like this for INT/FAI Builds?
Hey Fextralife, can you make a video like this for the other categories, strength, dexterity, etc? thanks!
str was already done i believe?
thanks you for uour work
What armor is he wearing with the spellsword? Fashionable af
I made a bill now as my fifth character where I have 60 face 60 intelligence 60 dex with a Melady Claymore and patta my God it feels good however since I'm not fixated on One that I'm not doing crazy damage, but still good damage for PVP
18:19 - What's this build? And/or do you have a build that uses more of those new spells or death spells?
You're going to need more than 15 Intelligence for these builds, otherwise your scaling will be garbage. 😂
So, even though AoW Glintblade's stance damage is now cut in half, it's still a good idea to make a stance break/crit build around it?
Please make a new madness build!
Some love for the Sword of Night and Flame, anyone?
No night comet? How and why?
Greatsword of solitude build?
#1!
Orrrr you could run all of them with like 50 int and minimum str/dex requirements and just magic damage people to death
Can you do one of faith builds?
Sad you didn't include deaths poker and sword of night and flame.
Where is Night Comet? Night Comet build is deletes everything, even in the DLC
I don't see stats for the builds.. what use is this?
All of the builds have their own video you can find in this channel or on the wiki here eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Builds
Note all int builds can be melee with slicer lol
We getting smarter with this one
It’s not just sorceries… first build is moonveil lmao
my moonveil does no dmg to radahn lol
I like melee focused INT builds, is that weird?
nah, me too. I always loved spellblades generally, combining spells and one handed swords, it always feels so cool :D And ER lets you live out that fantasy to fullest, I especially love glintblade sorceries for this playstyle
