Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well - One thing I forgot to mention is that the Sword Of Night & Flame DID NOT feature in this list because of the split scaling with Faith. It didn't feature in the Faith list either for the same reason but it is of course a fantastic weapon and with recent buffs, easily makes it into top 5/top 3! Other than that, I hope you enjoy the video and feel free to let me know what YOUR top 10 list would be :)
Good list. I used Moonveil, WOA & DMGS my first ER run - all great weapons. 2nd run, as a sorcerer, I'm mostly using a Claymore, magic-infused with Lions Claw. I love the moveset and keep going back to it like 'comfort food'. The only GS with the R2 pokes & charged pokes. And Lions Claw is a beast (stance & hyper-armor).
@ thank you! Yeah, lions claw is very nice, that’s one of the reasons why I am not considering infusable weapons, coz each list would just be the same 10 weapons with OP AoW’s, changed to the relevant damage type to fit the current list 😂
@@tkcjazza Yep. That's the great thing with ER. You can turn so many non-intelligence (dex/str) scaling weapons into 'Int' scaling weapons with infusions. The min/maxers will have a s##t fit because you lose maybe 5% damage or have 'split-damage', but at the end of the day as a sorcerer your staff if your main method of dealing damage whilst your weapon is used primarily for running about the 'world'...
They need to buff some INT weapons. We’ve been using the same INT weapons since day one. Only one DLC weapon cracked the top 10 which is kinda logical.
@@Zenjuicee yeah INT players got shafted in the DLC if I’m honest - they got two good things which was thorns spell and bottles but they were TOO broken at launch and now are mediocre so yeah… not really much going on in the INT world right now haha
Great listing. Thanks. Combine Wing of Astel with Adula and Zamor Ice Storm as sorcerys, beside a Night Comet for greater distances and there u have it. Ultimate Int-Caster build for every situation from lvl 100-xxx
No, I did consider it, I just personally preferred these weapons but it’s a very good choice - I would’ve definitely put it in the honourable mentioned section, had I done one :)
Awesome video! Pleased to see my all time favourites make the list and where I would put them - Wing of Astel, Glintstone Kris & Death’s Poker (though I am enjoying the Royal Greatsword on a different character). I have skill issues. I managed to beat Malenia in NG+ without ashen spirits or help using the Deaths Poker, Wing of Astel & the Kris - wish I had recorded it 😂
Tottaly agree with your list! Wings of Astel with Brass Shield and guard counter talisman makes the game super fun to play for me. Breaking stances all day long
Dark Moon GS was best until the recent nerf. Now, I think Wing of Astel is probably better. Also, far more versatile in PVP, so just better in general.
For me Moonrithyll's Knight Sword and Ruins Greatsword are my favorites. I've beaten the game 5 times and still haven't found Astel's Wing Sword yet. My first year of Elden Ring, I thought the Ruins Greatsword was the best weapon in the whole game.
Not a bad list for the most part, but the Carian Knight Sword is not good at all. Terrible int scaling and Carian Granduar is not a unique skill, so you might as well throw the AoW on a more damaging infusible sword (although you should just use Carian Sovereignty in that case).
Not rlly the things I think I would use but still love the variety over the vids as it’s easy to find a weapon and just so u know I’m working on a deathless run
@ Bro u don’t know what agony the fn nights Calvary in caleid put me through after getting stuck and then suddenly jumping on my insta killing me on a run I was an hour into where i did setup before lvls big mistake on my end
5:11 It's a bad weapon for a bunch of reasons. 1)to increase damage, you need to pump strength, dexterity, and intelligence. 2)the final damage comes out bad 3)ashes of war are not unique and can be put on any conventional weapon made frost, or scaled only from intelligence. 4)This sword deals piercing damage only after rolling and with a critical hit, which is useless
@@Artem-eu3uv you don’t need to pump strength all that much as all damage in the vid I had like 25str and 70int (with physick used) - damage is very solid, all you need to do is get the right spacing/timing or just use uncharged if necessary - again I wasn’t considering ashes and only talking about weapons that naturally scale with INT stat. It’s obviously not the best weapon in the game but it really isn’t all that bad imo :)
@@tkcjazza That's the problem. The skill scales only from intelligence, to deal good damage with r2 and r1 attacks it's worth increasing strength and dexterity. I'm not saying that this weapon is bad, it's rather very mid and deserves the tenth place. The rest of the weapons look better because you can use the skill more often and more freely, and also deal more damage with the rest of the moveset.
If you're a high level running on ng+7 with an int build the only weapon that is worth using is either death's poker or blade of night and flame (I prefer death's poker). The other weapons become useless in a solid high level intelligence build.
All this footage was in NG+7 and most weapons were consistantly doing like 3/4k+ damage with only 70 INT in the build (with wonder physick active) - These all kick ass still :)
@ they do work, but when you get to a level in which you have 80 int and 80 faith at the same time, and combine this with a solid build, plus having the prince of death's staff for the best possible scaling of such level, certain spells like comet make most of these weapons useless.
@ either way I'm talking about a very specific kind of player, and I'm pretty sure your list works for most of the players. Just to make it clear though, the only weapons that keep a very solid consistency as your level gets higher are death's poker and sword of night and flame (mainly death's poker, the reason why I said sword of night and flame was because of the recent buff on the rellana's talisman, and death's poker is still better).
Helphen’s steeple is ok, it gets outclassed very quickly as it’s just basically a greatsword with additional cold damage (when you use ash of war) so for example, Royal’s Greatsword can do far more damage & frost damage a lot quicker in the later NG+’s :)
Really? I would say it looks pretty damn cool! But that’s fair enough, if you can ever look past the weapons looks, you’ll have a very decent weapon in your hands ;)

Like having 13 Arc or 30 Arc; there really isn't much difference and all I have is the Reduvia. It's an awesome dagger, but it's almost as good at Arc 13 and I can use the extra points in Intellect to bolster my magic. Thoughts?
