As you can see, I beat Hollow Knight
be sure to criticize me in the comments on what items you would've used or what items I used that shouldn't've been used.
lmk if you prefer the montage style boss fights or just commentary over them.
I accidentally made the background thumbnail for this video the same as the last. lol.
It’s crazy how the dismounter is such a middle of the road weapon in PvE, but an absolute beast in PvP. The running attacks have some of the best phantom range in the game.
Bros running the Capra demon build.
Those skeleton summons are actually really goos since when they lose their health they keep respawning unless killed by Holy or hit while on the ground which isnt that often
That's why I use the skeleton bandit for most enemies early game.
Are we playing different games? I gave up on the skeletons after so many enemies killed them with their big, sweeping, ground-scraping attacks when they were trying to regenerate. Their revival gimmick doesn't hold up its end of the bargain.
@@thomashooper2451Its not consistent unless you are aggressive constantly pulling agro from the boss then healing while the skeletons are attacking.
I feel like I got very unlikely every time I tried using them. The boss would just kill them the purposely hit them while on the ground so they wouldn't respawn lol
@@michaelboyle7281 That was my experience, too.
I actually did use the Dismounter for a bit on my first run before getting the Knight's Greatsword from a Godrick soldier at some point. It's decent for early game, but Bloodhound's Fang exists, so it has no purpose in most runs.
Bloodhounds Fang is just nasty. Shouldn't be able to get it so early
Similar instance here except I power stanced it with the bloodhounds fang
Me power stancing two of those for my whole first playthrough: yes, but actually, no
LM@@connerbeast3469
dismounter was my first max level weapon 😅
I was using the dismounter since it dropped day 1. Not only is it good raw physically but when paired with a Omen curved greatsword the Style Souls is peak *chef kiss*
Drugs are bad for you.
The skeletons summon is the best in the game. It's very rare that a boss hits them while they're dead, so they always come back
agreed
Executioner's Greataxe, mathematically, has the highest crit attacks in the game, due to it's very high base damage, the great axe crit multiplier, and it's 115 crit bonus
Doesn't the misericord have a crit of 140 at base?
@@SatchFan1000 Yes, and it's the best dagger for crits, but due to it's low base damage the Executioner's Greataxe tends to out-damage it
@@draconesetmagicae9 ah fair enough
weird guy's clown armour set is my go-to armour set every time I do a re-play of elden ring, lol
Heressy, Dismounter is litearlly my favorite non-unique weapon in this game, its so good and underrated!
That and the partisan are so cool
I love the dismounter, probably in my top 5 favorite weapons ngl
This man used some of my favorite music from one of the best games I've ever played
Good taste
“All of these are used… except bandit. Who in their right mind would pick that”
Me picking bandit my first time playing cause I thought Arcane was the magic stat
Omg.... it DOES sound like it is a magic stat😂😂
Yea that’s pretty much a fromsoft right of passage, everyone gets confused unless they did research beforehand
Btw if people wanna know what music is in the video, here you go:
Hornet / Daughter of Hallownest
Mantis Lords
Greenpath
Sealed Vessel
Radiance
you are a god i can not believe as i was dying to know the song u popped up.
What a beautiful person! thank you for this.
I want to underline the fact that for margitt he used the first version of the hornet fight and for morgott the second one
@@JustMe-rd1fz yeah that suits really well
hollow knight and elden ring are my favourite games, this video really made me smile
So I did the math, there are around 20,5 million copies of elden ring sold, divided by the number of weapons, equals to a 1% chance that these weapons haven’t been used
bro your math are TRASH because thats the dumbest way to do it nobody is going to equally play for example river of blood and one of these random shitty weapon + it also depends on the build and everything you cant just "divide" the number of weapon by the number of player also because 1 player can use multiple weapons
@@yackouille5287hey man be kind
@@swagspiritagony6489 ?
You did NOT do the math lil bro
yeah so i redid it and it turns out to be about 0.00125 percent 😅 sry if i triggered anyone
Today I came across your faith run while looking for faith builds and I must say I’m now binding all your videos. You’ve become one of my favorite creators! The witty editing, voiceovers, narration. It’s so well done. I hope you find success and don’t lose motivation or give up on your channel! You rock brother keep slaying
The undead soldiers summon is one of my faves, actually, because when they hit 0 HP, they can rise again full life.
I didnt realise this was uploaded an hour ago! This is some really entertaining content! Really enjoyed it!
Bro, the Skeletal Militiaman are one of THE BEST spirit ashes in earlu game! I always go after them when I start a new game. In other words, you failes your chalenge at the begining! 😂
I gotta heavily disagree with your one of the best statement. Jellyfish helped me much more than skeletons
Flamedrake talisman is frequently used because its sometimes the first talisman people find so they auromatically equip it
This guy never misses with a elden ring video, keep it up man
Those video cuts in time with the music in the Godrick fight were sick
That you use hollow knight sounds makes it so good
Nice video:)
Beautiful use of the Hollow Knight OST. Splendid❤
Came for elden ring, stayed for hollowknight musics
I loved the vid. I laughed real hard at the end seeing the sorcerer cheesing elden beast with that comet bullcrap :D
I actually use the soap, it cleans your armor when you roll on poison or scarlet rot swamps. So the status of poison stops rising.
Fighting Morgott as Omen Killer is just too good
so for my first elden ring run, I picked Wretch for the funny (this was day 1 release of elden ring) and bonked the shit out of Margit and Godrick before finally switching weapons to something else. I did end up retiring that save file because I allocated 49 level ups in the wrong place, did not have a larval tear, nor renalla rebirths unlocked. My other save is currently on NG+4
Never realized how awesome the bow spells look from a distance
My second playthrough I used two Dismounters for most of it, until I eventually switched to two Omen Cleavers. Anyways, great video. Take care.
pretty sure alot of people use those talismans. flamedrake is often one of the first people find. should have went with Companion Jar, Host's Mirror, Daedicar's Woe & Shabriri's Woe as the talismans
These videos are enternatining as f***, keep it up!
Something i realised playing elden ring is that weapons dont matter, you can beat the game with any weapon thats been leveld even a bit as long as u can dodge.
Well, that and weapons arts (ashes of war) are so strong in this game that the weapon itself often literally doesn't matter the AoW does instead.
@@backslash4141eh not really, unless your entire build is based around an ash of war that’s not really a defining characteristic that determines if a weapon is good or not. Well in pvp at least, in pve there’s a lot more room for ashes to be op but from soft has nerfed most of the big ones so it’s still not really an issue, plus it’s pve and nobody should care what you use
@backslash4141 true, my first ppay through I used the lordsworn great sword with bloody slash. Very mid weapon but good Aow and it slapped
@pointofthestag5369 Yeah, that was basically what I used, eventually changing to the zweihander since it also had innate bleed all the way to then end of the game
Yo this was some sick ass video, loved it man
He just used everything I used in my first playthrough
I always use soap in the poison caves.
Like its weird that it doesn't help against rot buildup but if you accidentally roll in poison, use soap and the buildup instantly stops
Skeletal summons are great. Theyll take off agro just long enough for you to recover then once they are downed the enemy agros you giving them time to get up
Viridian Amber +1 is a great talisman to use a filler. I've done a couple of runs recently and that extra stamina is pretty sweet.
Recently used all of these, except the Cranialvessel. Gold Slender Sword for a Zelda Build, Dismounter for a Father Owl Build, Flamberge for a Kain (Legacy of Kain) build, and Omen Cleavers for a Rollo build. And I was planning on getting a Pick for a "Hugo the Adventuerer" cosplay build.
Awesome video Mr. Frog man
The music editing on this video is excellent
I’ve honestly been meaning to use the regular pickaxe on one of my runs, greathammers are amazing, and I imagine with the piercing damage it’s a monster against a lot of bosses
im on my first run through and have been using the flamberge the whole run. This thing is actually really good with high dex bc it gets an A scaling with keen affinity and works great with status effects like bloodflame blade
I was gonna say, lots of people use the flamberge, it's not niche or underused at all 😅
"I'm gonna use things almost nobody uses!"
>Picks one of the most popular starting classes.
>Farms for one of the strongest straight swords (at least it's rare?).
>Uses one of the best and most common curved greatswords to beat Margit.
>Uses one of the best and most common early game spirit ashes.
>Switches to one of the strongest and most used greatswords.
...at least you finally got to using things nobody uses when you got the Executioner's Axe.
and got Furled Fingers help XD
Chocolate chocolate chip
Ok I agree with everything but the spirit ash, most people don’t use them and (I may be wrong) but you can get marionette archer pretty early right?
2:54
You FOOL that’s quite literally my favorite summon in the whole game, it’s literally become the only one I use on any given playthrough
I love the dismounter, I used one for my whole first playthrough without power stancing. It's probably my favorite weapon
Dismounter is an s-tier weapon used by tons of people.
Noble's Slender Sword is actually part of the Paladin (and related) early game builds on the Wiki.
I use the skeletons every play through they are unironically amazing
This is cool I'm thinking about doing an elden ring challenge run myself 😀
The slender sword takes infusions really well. The only other weapon that does that well with infusions is the star mace.
Honestly I’m just always happy to see people use some of the farmable weapons that most people never bother with.
The only weapon almost no one used on the game is the stone cat boss sword (forgot the name). Its the hardest weapon to get and its kinda average so no one uses it. I've never seen a single person using it.
It's not hard to get😭
@@HZPPY I farmed every weapons and it's the hardest. You can be sure that nobody in their first playthrough got this weapon.
@@themagikarp9676 I have it rn though😭
@@themagikarp9676 first kill drop for me
Executioners greataxe is an amazing weapon. Give it cragblade and it hits really hard whilst being light enough to let you wear tanky armour.
you know .. your video remember me of my first play through it was exactly like that
i enjoyed you using the hollow knight soundtrack in this
I second that comment about the soap. Totally used tbat to clean rot off i rolled in 😂
I’ve been using two max level slender swords, one with frost and one with fire, on a level 180 quality build. You’d be shocked how effective they are. The L1 combo is beautiful.
That markus pork out of nowhere got me
I actually use the "cave folk axes" pretty often x3 just because they look cool + the headpiece of the female singer down there. 💜💚
I went through my first playthrough with the Dismounter the whole way. It is very much a there weapon that gets overshadowed by the other options after a while.
First awesome video! Can I ask what song you used for the Godrick fight?
at the start of my xbox playthrough i used the skeleton summons alot bc they are like the normal skeletons where they need to get hit after dying and bosses dont target them after they die
I did this very thing. Whole playthrough with Bloodhound's Fang.
I dunno, i like dismounter, i sometimes even use it as dual wield with bloodhound fang, pretty fun, not gonna lie
Wearing the Rollo mask and equipping two Omen Choppas right before Morgott was poetically evil!🖤
Yo the hollow knight music on margit was amazing. Pretty sure that’s hornets second fight
Never mind it’s mantis lord
The sisters is a hell of a fight.
That Minotaur armor is what I unironically used when fighting melania
Bro is using the dismounter and skeletal militia man ashes, which carried me through a play through
i absolutely loved the flamberge in DS3 and elden ring, shame to see it’s getting slept on so hard
Well one run i decided to bonk the whole boss roaster with the wooden club, mid run ive changed to the stone club and believe me i had so much fun bonking bosses and stance breaking the shiat out of them😂, it reminded me of V1 redmane flame runs
The mantis lord music on godrick goes hard
This hollow knight music fits sooo well
Might i ask what music you used for the Margit fight?
Im so hyped for silksong
I used dismounter for half first playthrough, figured id put enough stones into it may as well stick with it...until I saw other weapons on youtube
The main thing this video has taught me is that I am not original for using the dismounter on my first playthrough
amazing videoooooo
Not me running dual blood dismounters all ng+
The use of hollow Knight boss music is 🔥🔥
hornet theme? subbed
Okay the ost was the "Cherry" on top.
using sealed vessel for radagon and radiance for elden beast is cool af
I like that you put Noble's Slender Sword in here. I use that on half my builds. Why? Because it looks absolutely stunning and yes I powerstance two of them on most builds so I farm for hours to get them. Pair these with Sentinel armour (altered), greaves and gloves (helm looks wack so no that) and you've got yourself a golden knight build. Fashionborne is the biggest buff in the game.
What's the point in being the best if I don't look the part?
As someone who does the exact same thing on half my builds, phenomenally said.
i’ve been having such a shitty day and this is making me laugh so hard 😂❤ thank you lol
i love hornet theme
I love the use of Hollow knight music. Love to see more
I actually used the Dismounter for quite a long time on my first playthough it carried me for like 30-40 hours
Took me until 5 minutes into the video to remember where the music was from. Guess it's time to replay Hollow Knight
ngl i didnt even know the blue guys in siofra river could even drop their armor lmao
The dismounter carried me all the way to caelid in my first playthrough. Put some respeck on my mans name dawgggggg
what’s the bg music on Rahdan fight? it’s fire
Love the hollow knight music
Didn't know the Omen Cleavers weren't popular, I literally completed the game and beat Malenia dual wielding them
"Fragile old people" 😂
Bandit would have been the proper choice for reasons you mentioned lol
I stg elden ring UA-camrs always pull like 5,000ish views per video but consistently pump out great content
Those skeleton Spirit Ashes are probably the most used non unique summon. Ya know since they respawn and are practically invincible against the ai mods. They just won’t attack them again when they go down they just immediately turn to attack u!
Bro you're making me wanna play Hk again
The slender sword is literally one of the best PvP weapons in the game lol
