Watching this in 2022 with all the new updates, ai tech and realtime stuff, you still taught me the simplest way of making a growing plant buddy. Thx for that. Btw u still alive?😂 forget that just checked ur channel man, so effin dope😁
Awesome tut... leaf part is not rendering i don't know why? it's shows in normal preview render when i render it in picture viewer it's not showing.. don't know what to do can anyone help?
Informative and entertaining. Learned a lot, and laughed few times also. That's what I call a high-quality tutorial. Thanks! I hope to watch some more!
I love this tutorial! great job! I tried to follow along and ran into an issue. My twirl splines tend to flip orientation after the first 14 frames, what am I doing wrong? the main spline works fine, just the helix splines are giving me trouble.
Hi Daniel, thanks for the amazing tutorial. Through the process I had some issues with MoSplines not sticking to the spline, and once they dont stick, they stay stuck outwards (i at what appears to be the sometimes the same spline but from a different orientation, and sometimes just a random straight segment along the x axis.) This happened when I first tried to make the main spline / mograph combo following on from the flowerhead tutorial- but worked again after I removed the flowerhead and pasted it into another c4d file to build this stalk and bud section. However when I reposted the flowerhead in again- the helix mosplines all broke again in a similar manner after moving the timeline a few times. Have you ever had this kind of issue with mosplines? I think its probably some kind of internal project referencing problem. Amazing technique though, great work!
i finally finished part 1, but am having trouble starting part 2. Whenever I make my initial spline I cant seem the get the root of it to attach to the base/ rotate around the bottom
oh man that up vector had me screwed up for like 25 minutes. I thought you just moved it away from the plant for no reason. little did I know its position made all the difference...
I've learn so much from this THANK YOU SO MUCH ! but when I try to render My Main and Twirls doesn't show any color on it I can only see a Luminance I actually use a same material with Bud and it does have a color on it ! What part did I miss? lol
Hi Daniel, thank you so much for all of your excellent content. I have a question for you - why do you like to use your cloner in linear mode and change the rotation rather than using it in radial mode? I noticed that both when you were creating the flower petals in the first tutorial and here in the bud. Thanks, and take care!
Nice tutorial, only issue I have is if you group everything in a null object (let's say I want to clone the flowers) the mospline offset from the stem, any fix for it? thanks
where u made like the graphic and everything? iam beginner in C4D, iam learning it like for 3 days, and its not all made in C4D is it? its awesome, i want to be that good aswell :)
Hi, so when it comes to wanting to export the model with the animation, does this effect bake out using a mograph cache or other method? I want to know before I get too deep into it
Hy :) Thx for this great tutorial. One question. After i add the jiggle deformer to the main spline the bud doesn't follow the vine . The start and the end position is right, but under the growing the bud is move a little bit further. Right path just not in the vine. Thx for future response. (and sry for my ENG)
Could be down to the order in your Object Manager. Try putting your bud under the rest of the stuff in the Object Manager. Not as a Child, just furthest down in the list and see if that helps.
U gotta move the mainspline points, and adjust some keyframes, like the MoSpline "End" keyframe for the twirls... I know its 2y late, but it can help future viewers. :)
I don't know if I understand exactly what you mean, but there are loads of tutorials on Vases in C4D: ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=c4d+vase+tutorial
At 18:26 you show the plane effector used to rotate or tilt back the bud leaf and it disappears, mine isn't doing that, it's just leaning back and then maybe even slightly rolling. How can I fix that?
Absolute best C4D tutorials on the whole of UA-cam!
Probably the best tutor I've seen on UA-cam,great voice, perfect music...kudos to you man!

The trophy for the bend deformer it's the most awesome thing i've ever seen XD great tutorial
Enjoyed and learned greatly, everything about this is amazing
So good! I appreciate that you broke up the video into subsections.
I love that feature.
you can also be a part time radio presenter, besdie being a good designer
I learned so much from this tutorial, and its counterparts. Amazing techniques sir!

thnak you so much. amazing techniques, and you are an amazing teacher!
Thanks, helped me a lot for my masters final project!
Cool. I'd love to check it out once it's ready! :)
you make this look effortless 🔥 👌
Well, after 3 or 4 attempts I would hope it does... 😂
Daniel, thanks for such a great tutorial!
Thank you so muchhhh for this gorgeous tutorial !!!
Loved it! Takes forever to render but I will have to commit to getting Arnold Renderer.
awesome.. i am doing chromatic tuts right now.. but thinking how you are updating your tuts makes me feel so good. Thanks
Awesome tut... leaf part is not rendering i don't know why? it's shows in normal preview render when i render it in picture viewer it's not showing.. don't know what to do can anyone help?
I didn't realize this was multipart until we got to leaves. Kinda wish u didn't add the worbling effect
Thanks again for a rad tutorial Daniel!
Thanks for a rad comment!
My plain effector is making the bud go crazy when I turn up the rotation

Thanks, I hope you stick around. New one came up today! :)
These Tutorial are fucking excellent! Thank you.
These tuts are so amazing dude, thanks for sharing👌
Great tutorial Daniel.
Thanks Sid!
Brilliant, as always! Thanks a lot for you!
I'm more interested in how you created that realistic-looking bokeh coming from the out of focus lights.
Thank you so much for your great tutorials 😊
Tanks for great tutorial
I followed it and received the same result
Love your tutorials, thanks a lot!
I love this tutorial! great job! I tried to follow along and ran into an issue. My twirl splines tend to flip orientation after the first 14 frames, what am I doing wrong? the main spline works fine, just the helix splines are giving me trouble.

beautiful. Thank you.
learned a lot from this tutorial, thaks for sharing~
Glad it was helpful!
when i render all key frame ,i cant see my two leaf, but still can see by render single one frame. & thx for your tutorial
So amazing! I've just started to appreciate the beauty of motion graphics. I mean we can do only so much in Photoshop. Great tutorial! Thank you sir!!
Thx a lot for this amazing tutorial!
You really cracked that bud! ha!

I figured it out! It's the damn Turbulence!
Go to the Forces tab on your MoSpline and drag the Turbulence into the Exclude fields. Done!
Or just change the Mode to Include in the drop down and keep the Fields empty
@@dima9917 legend! Thanks
thanks!! this tutorial is awesome!!
MAN ur voice is so fu** perfect
good tutorial thanks my dude
Thanks. Cool ! What's about break ground and the pieces rolling tutorials ? :D
Jajaja, Achivement Unlocked.... Great Tutorial!
i finally finished part 1, but am having trouble starting part 2. Whenever I make my initial spline I cant seem the get the root of it to attach to the base/ rotate around the bottom
Excelente, Un tutorial muy completo y entendible 100%. Gracias!
man you're awesome again!
Good tutorial, many thanks
smooth tute, I like your fast forwarding btw,.....must be a lot of work to transfer it to vhs tape then back to UA-cam though
It is, but I like to keep it authentic.
@@DanielDanielsson hahah amazing, so helpful, thank you
Thank you very much for the tutorial. If I wanted to export this to a fbx, is it possible?
I'm pretty sure it can be possible, but it will involve baking a lot of things to PLA which can be a bit temperamental.
thanks for your tutorial. but i wonder that how take lighting setting ,render and compositiong from after effects!!
I love you and your videos!
Perfectly executed.
Cheers!
great tutorial! thanks!!
Thanks bud
oh man that up vector had me screwed up for like 25 minutes. I thought you just moved it away from the plant for no reason. little did I know its position made all the difference...
Somehow my leaf does not stick to the stem when I add it to the MoSpline (Main)
Awesome again, can You please show the firshluft settings? How did You achieve this little stroke outline on iris?
Same as for the other one. All in the Iris settings, that one specifically is called 'Relative Border Brightness'
Really amazing tutorial! Is there a chance you would share the project file to study it ?
5:36 Perfecto
Studying Spanish really paid off.
awesome!
great Tut man
I've learn so much from this THANK YOU SO MUCH ! but when I try to render My Main and Twirls doesn't show any color on it I can only see a Luminance I actually use a same material with Bud and it does have a color on it ! What part did I miss? lol
It sounds like typical UVW map shenanigans... Maybe try changing the material projection?
Thank you very very
How to add particles while opening 😀
Anyone else's leaf not move upward with the stalk when they add the align to spline?
Please post-processing tutorial in the after effect

Dunno.... I think it's just for the times when I still need the pivot point of the object to be right in the centre. But I'm actually not sure. XD
Great tutorial, can't imagine the damage you could do with Octane XD
With my current graphics card it'd be absolutely minimal… XD
#MacProblems lol
Nice tutorial, only issue I have is if you group everything in a null object (let's say I want to clone the flowers) the mospline offset from the stem, any fix for it? thanks
5:35 I like it.
Why are you fast forwarding the branch and leave section? I feel that is very important info and the effect makes it very hard to see what u set it to
Can you share the lighting setup you start with?
I really thank that I won Xbox G point! Nice tutorial!
where u made like the graphic and everything? iam beginner in C4D, iam learning it like for 3 days, and its not all made in C4D is it? its awesome, i want to be that good aswell :)
Anything I don't do in C4D is probably in After Effects. Especially graphics.
you are great!
theres a Lyric video that uses flowers that grow every turn they glow too! It was released 2017-19 ithink do you guys perhaps know it??
Can't say I do. If you find it I'd love to have a look though.
yeah your voice makes me want to sleep,i really love it lol but i need to stay focused cuz it's a damned tut lol thnx man, great one
You are beginning to feel drowsy now. When I snap my fingers you will believe you are a giraffe...

Hi!Great tutorial!!I can not understand how clone this flower? Thanks for answer)
I imagine C4D might get confused if you try to clone it. If copying it works, I'd just do that.
thank you very much)))
This is so pretty and the tutorials easy to follow! One question, is there a way to bring this into unreal engine?
Thanks! Should be possible with an FBX or alembic export. You might need to bake a lot of things first though.
If I position this animation in a scene it messes up big time. How can I scale/reposition with out messing it up?
U gotta move the mainspline points, and adjust some keyframes, like the MoSpline "End" keyframe for the twirls... I know its 2y late, but it can help future viewers. :)
Hahahaha that achievement made my day
Perfecto!!!
Thansk for share!!
Could you please teach me how to add this into the real scene
Can you give us a download from the file you used
how i can make some objects thicker(for example, a vase)???
I don't know if I understand exactly what you mean, but there are loads of tutorials on Vases in C4D:

Well, I just ended up animating the bud leaf rotation and scale without a plane effector. And it looks very nice and clean.
Whatever work works! :)
can i download this tutorial files please?
