At 18:26 you show the plane effector used to rotate or tilt back the bud leaf and it disappears, mine isn't doing that, it's just leaning back and then maybe even slightly rolling. How can I fix that?

    • @Djjonwert

Well, I just ended up animating the bud leaf rotation and scale without a plane effector. And it looks very nice and clean.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the amazing tutorial. Through the process I had some issues with MoSplines not sticking to the spline, and once they dont stick, they stay stuck outwards (i at what appears to be the sometimes the same spline but from a different orientation, and sometimes just a random straight segment along the x axis.) This happened when I first tried to make the main spline / mograph combo following on from the flowerhead tutorial- but worked again after I removed the flowerhead and pasted it into another c4d file to build this stalk and bud section. However when I reposted the flowerhead in again- the helix mosplines all broke again in a similar manner after moving the timeline a few times. Have you ever had this kind of issue with mosplines? I think its probably some kind of internal project referencing problem. Amazing technique though, great work!

I have a question for you - why do you like to use your cloner in linear mode and change the rotation rather than using it in radial mode? I noticed that both when you were creating the flower petals in the first tutorial and here in the bud. Thanks, and take care!

Could be down to the order in your Object Manager. Try putting your bud under the rest of the stuff in the Object Manager. Not as a Child, just furthest down in the list and see if that helps.
