I used to say that but for me, Mid Morning Matters is superior with very subtle and clever writing and also has the most air time of sidekick Simon... I think the best Partridge stuff is when Alan and Simon are on the screen together.
Alan was a regular every year on Comioc Relief since the mid 90's, there's a brilliant 5 min sketch of him interviewing boxing coach Toney Malloney - Peter Kay ... It's first class
I saw Steve do Alan Partridge in Oxford when he brought The Man Who Think He’s It show there. Probably the funniest live show I’ve watched. Absolutely hilarious. Simon Pegg was the opening act which was a nice surprise.
You guys might be my favourite reactors. You're both funny and chilled, you pick great content, your intros make me laugh, and it really feels like I'm watching it with you. Thanks guys :)
As a connoisseur of worldwide stand up comedy .. I love Larry David , Curb for example I know my stuff .. two words guys Stewart Lee for the love of comedy .. you gotta review Tornado if you could. Love this show. I'm not always a fan of reacting but I'm older now and listen more than I watch ❤ Howdie from Manchester England ... Oh my actual name is Stephen Goddard.. Steve coogan is basically a very cosmopolitan Mancunian 😂
Absolutely. Borat did nothing for me (I asked him but he referred me to his legal team). Each to their own but Partridge’s longevity speaks for itself. The clever development of his character. I, in my capacity as myself, listen to *I Partridge* as an audio book (or UA-cam emission in podcast format). AP is still the apex predator in the savage garden of what taxonomists call ‘light entertainment parodic acts’.
I have so many suggestions for you but, "Fawlty Tpwers" is a must see. 12 episodes only, but worth every second. It was made in the 70s but don't let tht stop you
Steve Coogan who plays Partridge was a great comedy character. Absolute genius of a man . he has No emotion, filters, and plows through everything😂 only to embarrase hiself then blames others
@@markcutting6504 I hope that was in character in AGP. Otherwise, confidently incorrect. Both spellings are valid. Plow preferred in US. Plough preferred in UK. It's in the Oxford English Dictionary as "plough | plow"
Is this part 2 or 3? I ask because Alan goes back a lot further than the start of this (On the Hour; Day Today; Knowing Me Knowing You; etc). It's quite a good selection but a bit random. I hope you do more of AGP.
This is coogan live not t.v.check out his early stand up.especially Paul & Pauline calfe.then 2 series of I'm Alan partridge.then mid morning matters.also the trip with Rob brydon🤗
@@bradlucy I can't wait. My suggestion would be in chrono order, so you can encounter him as we did, as the character evolved and canon grew, with historical references making sense: 1) Compilation of him as sports reporter on The Day Today 2) Knowing Me, Knowing You (1 TV series, there was radio before TV but not so good for youtube reaction and very similar to TV, but still good) 3) I'm Alan Partridge (2 series, probably his best TV stuff. Everyone's favorite. Most memes come from this.) 4) Anglian Lives (one off 'This is Your Life' for AGP) 5) Midmorning Matters (2 series of short episodes. Coogan said he felt Mid Morning Matters was "the purest, most mature and funniest incarnation of Partridge") 6) Forward Solutions (live tour) 7) Alpha Papa (the film) 8) Scissored Isle (one off docu series) 9) This Time (TV series) Outside of reactions there's audio, probably not suitable for reaction, so a personal recommendation of some his best stuff: Audiobooks read by Steve Coogan as AGP: I, Partridge Nomad Big Beacon And Alan's podcast: From the Oasthouse. 3 series so far. Possibly my favorite. They're all brilliant.
Bernard Matthews somehow became a very famous poultry farmer due to advertising long before the vegan, veggie, piscarean, anti this, anti that, trans gender, woke, clowns that ruin our society today.his job was to breed farm animals for human consumption & most of us loved it.he was from norfolk, hence coogans later comments on North Norfolk radio(even though he upset the local farmers😁)& even had a catchphrase -it's boootiful. rip bernard🤗
Out of all the Alan Partridge shows 'I'm Alan Partridge' is the best one.
We have it on Patreon. We couldn't get it on UA-cam.
@@bradlucy Can I ask? Have you given up on Al Murray's 'Time gentlemen please'?
I'm not so sure, it's a tough call for me, as This Time with Alan Partridge is up there too.
I'll take it that you have given up, as there is never a reply, to me at least.
I used to say that but for me, Mid Morning Matters is superior with very subtle and clever writing and also has the most air time of sidekick Simon... I think the best Partridge stuff is when Alan and Simon are on the screen together.
Brilliant as ever guys, lol
Mid Morning Matters is one of his best creations I think.
Alan was the forerunner to David Brent
Way more range than Brent
Alan was a regular every year on Comioc Relief since the mid 90's, there's a brilliant 5 min sketch of him interviewing boxing coach Toney Malloney - Peter Kay ... It's first class
Comic Relief? Yeah, it's something that is relieved of anything remotely funny.
This Time is so underrated. It's brilliant, and is a spot on parody of the 1 show. Series 2 was amazing!
You need to look at the sketches he did with the characters called Paul & Pauline calf ,,brilliant 😂👍🏽

Simon Pegg was the opening act which was a nice surprise.
Lovely stuff
Greetings from Norfolk. Ahah!!!😊
Crying 😂 Thanks guys
More Partridge please, mid morning matters and anything else you can find, the man is just genius

Appreciate that, thank you.
'dry-stone walling' .... wall built without cement or mortar but built with boulders of different sizes
Something as simple as him struggling to open a cocktail shaker is made infinitely funnier by his facial expressions. Such an underrated actor.
Absolutely hilarious guys glad I could join you
Steve is such a great comedian and actor.
Alan Partridge......an absolute legend in the Uk for people of a certain age))
An absolutely unfunny bell-end more like.
This proper cheered me up, love you guys, your daughter is pretty cool also x
😊 thank you
I remember singing along to 'everyone's a bit of a *unt sometimes' at his live show in cardiff
This was a great Alan compilation
and the best part of the journey, riding that steel horse home to you

You might also like the Alan Partridge movie "Alpha Papa" (very funny!)
great reaction, esp. considering theres a lot of parochial references !
Partridge the best spoof character ever. I think you have to be British to fully get the humor.

at least Lucy was calmed down early in the clip

Hey guys if you like British humor, PLEASE try "Fawlty Towers" with John Cleese. I promise you will love it.

Billy connelly did who do you think you are fantastic and ant and dec did the dna show amazing
Don't think so.his name is Billy Connolly
Jeez the first 23 minutes were abysmal, can't believe such a good character was dragged so low
The only time this berk was ever funny was when he portrayed Stan Laurel in 'Stan & Ollie' - Stan being someone who was actually funny.
Haha Stan Laurel , still living in the 30`s Joe haha
This is a fantastic compilation, ta for posting.😊
Mickey Flaggan ❤
