Despite Buzzfeed being in the toilet, her videos have stayed consistently good and entertaining. This series is great and it'll help the kids to not be picky eaters and be adventurous about their eating out habits.
What happened with Buzzfeed?
Same what happened to Buzzfeed?
@@jagonpoo1131 it doesn't have the popularity and content that it had years ago, basically all the amazing people who did great content left buzzfeed and started their own channel
@@Drlove-dj9bl This. Thanks for saving me the trouble of explaining lol😅
Right? Like I don't need to read any more lists of 73 things my dog can't live without 😳⛔
Wyatt suddenly looks so grown up! Like he’s aged 2-3 years in a few weeks. Love parents helping their kids learn about the world and different cultures.
Wyatt is the middle child!?!? He’s like 4-5! I think your talking about the Henry!
@@mistylewis7884 no I think she means Wyatt. He does look like he’s grown up so much
i think it’s just the haircut
@@idontknow-ll8cd yesss the haircut makes him look older😭
Yah he looks older from the start especially,
I’m actually really impressed by how open-minded your children are when it comes to new foods, you’re definitely doing the parenting thing right 😌😌
People become open minded when people face super natural especially at such a young age
They used to not be so open but they've grown so much ☺️ this helps a lot
I feel like Jackson is going to be a chef. The way he described some of the meal and how open he is with food.
I love his appreciation of food so much.
He will become a paranormal investigator for sure 😂
I think both both will be, but on some very different cuisine!
Maybe a food critic
Get the kids a map to put over a cork board. They can add a push pin for every country they've tried the cuisine of. It would also be a visual reminder of the history/culture aspects they've been taught.
That's a great idea!
I love that!
if you're here since the v beginning, then you would see the journey of wyatt going from not being open to eating new foods to tasting new recipies all the time. it just makes me so proud for some reason !! 🥺❤
That’s exactly what i thought
At the fairy toast, he waited for Jackson to take a bite and say it's good before taking a piece 😉☺️ so cute looking up to his big brother
So true! He would be so hesitant about so many things, and now he's just going at it with gusto. Such a wonderful change to see 😊
Exactly!!
Yesss! Do you remember when he would cry over avocados until that one morning he made them himself! So cute and fantastic that he is so open to new foods nowadays!
Pro tip: Fairy bread is actually traditionally made on plain soft bread, not toasted! We also usually don't have it for breakfast, but it's a massive hit at kid's parties as a sweet snack. I still love fairy bread at 21!
I can confirm
I can also confirm
Yeah also what was the Australian flag, feel like I’ve never seen it.
@@gema1859 It's literally the Thai flag.
The editor(s) probably copied the flag shape from the Thailand infocard but forgot to change the flag itself.
@@gema1859 this is the aussie flag 🇦🇺
We need to talk about how much Wyatt is GROWING. Not even just in general but he and Jackson are both so excited to try new things! Which wasn’t Wyatt even a couple months ago! The learning and getting to explore new things in such a positive and fun way is just awesome!
It's SO amazing to watch, isn't it?
The wine being cooked takes the alcohol out so the kids could eat it to but everything looks delicious
@@hannahlilywilliams u r welcome it doesn't take long for alcohol 2 evaporate while being cooked only about 25 to 30 seconds it said on google
I was going to say this too, perfectly safe for the kids as long as you continued to cook it after the wine went into the recipe!!
Very wrong - it takes hours to get the alcohol out!!!
@@sawyer0815 I googled it that's what it said and even if it takes hours she cooked it for over 3 hrs so still good
was coming to comments to say that :)
maybe I’m dramatic but these videos make me emotional because my grandparents are from Trinidad and Tobago so my grandmother always makes the foods she would’ve made when she was home or was served in her house growing up. When I was little I was always embarrassed of the food she made because I was worried that other kids would make fun of it. It is so important that Hannah does this with her children, it makes them so open minded about other cultures and will definitely make them safe children to be around for those who may have been in my position as a child :)
I feel you!! this is so important.
And she made doubles for her kids too!!
I feel this sm❤ im so sorry you went through that, really wanna try trinidad & tobago food😄
I LOVE this series.... as an Australian I will say we NEVER toast our fairy bread haha the squidginess of the bread with the crunch sprinkles and soft unmelted butter is essential!!
This is what I came to the comments to say. Also, that was not the Australian flag
As a non-Australian I was thinking exactly that
The Dutch put sprinkles on toast in this way - hagelslag (also in a sandwich, so versatile!). Fairy bread in Australia is always on white bread with butter and usually seen at children's birthday parties. You did the Vegemite right though! You don't need much. Cheese and Vegemite sandwiches also good, as are Vegemite scrolls.
As an Australian I definitely cringed when I heard the word "toast", however, looking at the bread it didn't look toasted. Maybe its just an AMerican word substitute for "bread"
@@jforster5234 nope. "Toast" means toasted
It makes me so proud to see kids trying new things. They are going to grow up to be very curious and interested about the world around them.
Your best bet is to buy a spice mix for biryani ('Shan' or 'National' brands), and follow the instructions on the packaging. A lot of Pakistanis make biryani that way as well. It's not easy getting the exact blend of spices right. Also, it is not a one pot dish exactly. The chicken gravy is made separately, and rice is boiled separately and then assembled together in layers in a large pot and left on a very low flame for 10-15 minutes, then another 15 or so minutes in the pot with the gas switched off. If you would like to try it again, I'd be happy to send you some tutorials how to nail it exactly. Also, we cook it with basmati rice and chicken on the bone.
The Shan brand is the way to go. I use the Mutton Biryani mix even if cooking Chicken Biryani.
@@AnirudhhD_ never tried the mutton one I’ll give it a go, thanks!
yeah i just message the same thing 😂 and the shan one is much better she didn't cook the biryani right way and also have your biryani with onion and yogurt raita (add potatoes in biryani) 🙊
@@AnirudhhD_ try the bombay biryani one that one is also soo good
The best thing in biryani is the potatoes and tomatoes
I feel like Jackson could have a food blog or vlog when he's older. He likes being descriptive with when he eats.
He will become a paranormal investigator for sure
He would become an english teacher.
Exactly my thoughts!!
do you know those big maps where you scratch off each country you’ve been to? you should do that but with the food you’ve made!
As an Aussie I'm so proud and impressed you didn't abuse Vegemite n only used it sparingly and you and the boys loved it 🥲 hope it becomes a regular part of your breakie.
But I gotta say Hannah I love you dearly but FYI you used the wrong flag this is our flag 🇦🇺 😄
Awesome video as usual definitely missed you and your beautiful family on my screen perfect way to start my Sunday morning ❤
the flag might've been a technical error, but oh well
It was Thailand flag so must have gotten mixed up as she did eat a Thai dish earlier
@@mylinkmujeb5741 thank you I was trying to figure out what flag that was lol
Never stop this serie please. Is so good.
As an Australian, I just need to congratulate Hannah on her correct use of Vegemite and not just using it like Nutella, also the fairy bread isn't really a toast thing but if it works why not?
Yeah I agree fairy bread is usually just bread that hasn’t been toasted with butter and sprinkle but I’m now going to try it on toast ☺️
@@graceheffernan3366 She referred to it as toast, but if you watch the video again 6:22 the bread isn't toasted, so she understood the assignment 😊
I worked with an Aussie girl who loaded it on bread … I tried the smallest piece and it was horrible… wouldn’t eat it again but at least I’ve tried it
@@kayleepoitras491 yeah from what I remember only kids eat fairy bread, obviously some adults still eat it but it’s more a kids thing.
As a Thai I'm so happy that your family enjoy Pad Ka Prao. Its definitely a 'go-to' menu for us when you cant think of anything else to order hahaha. You can try to switch the protein to chicken, beef or seafood :)
HANNAHHHH AN AUSSIE HERE
So glad you tried vegemite the proper way with not too much
With vegemite it can be toast or just bread
It can be eaten at breakfast or on a sandwich at lunch 😊
Just a learning tip
This is our flag 🇦🇺 no harm done lmao
And for fairy bread try it on just bread cause that’s how most of us eat it cause the mixture of the soft bread unmelted butter and crunchy sprinkles taste like a donut
Also fun fact fairy bread is a MUST HAVE at birthday party’s 🥳
So glad you tried some of our food!!
Fairy bread is eaten at children’s birthday parties, it’s not a breakfast food, and the bread isn’t toasted.
Congratulations on the Vegemite toast! People usually use too much.
😊
Netherlands eats it for brekkie
Pakistani here. I'd suggest using a biryani mix that has all the spices you need for the dish. I've tried making biryani so many times and the only time it has tasted good is when I used a mix. Shan and National are two Pakistani brands that make different types of biryani mixes and they're all pretty good.
Also the technique was off
When you pour alcoholic drinks in food and then cook it it's perfectly safe to eat for children because alcohol evaporates and all that's left is the flavor, I've been eating Pollo a la cerveza (chicken cooked in beer) since I was little and almost everyone in Spain too, we use a lot of wine and beer to cook here
Hannah and Matt seem like such wonderful parents. their kids are so lucky!
It's so nice to see some italian dishes in this as well 😍😍 Here in Italy we have so many recipes that do not include pasta, so there is a whole lot beyond pasta and pizza. Btw it's no big deal if kids drink wine in recipes, even traditional ragù has wine in it and it just leaves a bit of flavour behind, no alcoholic kids 😂😂
Yeah that's because the alcohol evaporates in a very short time when you cook the wine. Even when you make risotto you gotta make the alcohol evaporate before you add the broth. All dishes that children eat regularly with no issues (to be fair it's such a small amount of alcohol it wouldn't be that big of a deal)
As an Aussie, I'm SOOO glad you didn't overdo it with the Vegemite. My personal combo is toast, generous butter, a bit more Vegemite than you added, and then cheese, ideally melted just a 'lil bit
omg as a mom of a toddler, seeing Henry's mini fit before fairy bread made me giggle so hard! My daughter does the same thing, such a mood haha
I am soooo impressed that you attempted biryani! It is a very technique oriented dish having several complicated steps and very specific ways to execute them not to mention the myriad ingredients and spices being used. In fact in the indian subcontinent itself it is something that requires years of training under the older ladies of the household and it is a while before the younger person learning it perfects it. Also just to be clear biryani is not just a pakistani dish but it's endemic to the whole Indian subcontinent with each region having their own method and style of making it which differs widely giving you a very different product with apparently the same ingredients. I am from India and we have hyderabadi biryani, lucknowi biryani, calcutta biryani, kacchi biryani and that is just naming a few! Now you have to try these at a good Indian restaurant!✌🏼
its not just from south asia or subcontinent, arab countries have their own biryanis as well.
The girl from Zimbabwe was so cute when she was talking about eating the rice at her grandma’s every Sunday 💕
I love so much how you talk about the country with your kids in addition to eating the food!! They are already so smart and this just makes them more informed of different cultures and people. I'm obsessed!!
I love this series! But as an Australian, we NEVER toast our bread. You just get a piece of white bread with a nice spread of salted butter, and 100s and thousands (aka sprinkles). Hope this helps! :)
Why don't you toast it?
100% fairy bread is never toasted!!!
You’re such an amazing mom, you are so thoughtful about everyone’s culture, and you’re sharing that with your kids which is so amazing! You’re such an amazing mom, keep it going!
THANK YOU for showing people how to properly put on vegemite!
Also with fairy bread we don’t really toast the bread as the sprinkles already give it that extra crunch but either way I’m so glad to see someone putting on vegemite properly so thank you
This is such an amazing idea that all families should incorporate in their lives. It’s so important to know about cultures and life outside of your own. The world is humongous. There’s no limit to what they can learn and you can teach.
I love how enthusiastic Jaxson and Wyatt are about trying new foods
Great video!!! Love that the kids are so open with trying new foods and learning about the different cultures!! Nice job chef!
I love how Jackson has become so good and descriptive about food reviewing. Like he really tries the food. He should be in Worth It next! 😍❤️
It is so wonderful to watch the boys' tastes grow and evolve. I've always related most to Wyatt when it comes to food preferences so when he says he likes something, I file that away for when I wanna cook again! 😊
Ok loving your hair! your family is so cute. You are expanding their pallets so young and making them so openminded. This is truly great to see. Thank you for sharing Hannah 👏🏼
I still remember other kids making fun of the (ethnic) food my mother would put in my lunchbox and being laughed at because it smelled or even just looked a bit different… So seeing this video and how you educate your children about other cultures really cheers me up! Way to go!
Omg. It's weird to see Wyatt grown up and without his long hair. I loved his tantrums.
Jackson is amazing how he loves everything and he is so easy to feed and he is so open minded to try new things now that’s what I call a amazing mother
I've always told myself this is what I will do when I have kids. It's so nice to see it in action. You're such a great mama! The kids are so respectful and sweet.
I literally wait for these videos absolutely obsessed with Mom in progress!!! Love you Hannah and send much blessings and Joy to your family this holiday season 😘❤️❤️🎄🎄
They still produce content after what they are going through its sad
I’m so happy you made a recipe from Poland! Pierogi is everyone’s go to Polish recipe but zupa ogórkowa is such a comforting meal! ♥️🇵🇱
agreed im a pole myself
That and cabbage rolls! The best!
Thanks for sharing the dish from Zimbabwe. We use peanut butter a lot in our food. You did a good job 👏🏾 👍🏾 🇿🇼
I'd love that then. I go through peanut butter so fast
Such a wonderful series and an incredible way to teach your kids about the world!!! More more more!
Love the kids' sense of adventure and open-mindedness. I want to try many of those recipes. Btw, that Pad Kra Pao looks legit. Actually, it looks better than those served in some restaurants here in Thailand. You did a great job.
I love how you keep focused even with the kids and all the noise and everything Good Humor you are awesome
As a Zimbabwean it was so lovely seeing your kids learn about it and try the food! 😍
Your children are super adventurous eaters. That’s really awesome! You did a fantastic job setting good example and encourage them to try something new. I really love how you also talk about them after and really include them in the process!!
the small mortar and pestle is actually very normal! It's used to grind spices; it's a staple piece of equipment in an iranian kitchen for saffron :)
it makes me so proud to see that hannah didn’t just get a spoonful of vegemite and eat it like other people do. a little bit on a piece of toast and you’ve got breakfast. thanks for including australia cause in a lot of food videos we aren’t included!
Wow such a great initiative!! Learning whilst also enjoying food. I love it!! 🇿🇼
Love what you’re doing with this series!
I love this series. Everything looked amazing
The boys look so grown 😭 I've loved watching your family grow up
Wyatt eats so well now 💕 I remember he used to be very picky with food. And now, he enjoys everything 🤩
I love this series so much, such a fun way to teach about different cultures through food! Something I will definitely have to do when I have kids :)
I love this series so much! Made my day to see this upload 😊
Budae Jjigae (Korean army base stew) is amazing. I made for my friend's family and the kids requested it again so I made it again twice.
Wow Im from Zimbabwe.I am glad you enjoyed the peanut butter rice its definitely a favourite!
I love and appreciate this series so much!
Sweetest family. I just love everything about your videos and everyone’s unique personalities. Your kids and husband are so so lucky to have you ❤️
Hi Hannah, I think for the biriyani water-pouring technique it is done on the slide all the aromats stuck to the side into the pot. Great job on the fairy bread. I personally like just a little more Vegemite on my toast... also the Australian flag in the video is incorrect. Love watching this series.
Would you ever consider doing a Holiday Foods From Around The World version. I love this series so much. Happy holidays, Hannah!
I love this series so much! You’re doing a great job!
I'm so glad you did a recipe from Poland. Usually in videos about showcasing different cuisine, Poland is barely mentioned. And I'm happy you all liked it !
The water will level. The reason you pour water that way for the biryani is so thed rice stays even. Ifr you dump it in the middle first, the water will wash way the rice in the center. You pour carefully along the side so the water doesn't splash and it's only after the pot is half full, you pour the rest in a more lackadaisical manner.
Im from Zimbabwe and you nailed the rice 😍 it looked well formed 👏🏾👏🏾 we sometimes eat rice alone and it gives you the good source of protein with the peanut butter 👏🏾
Really love watching Hannah's videos!!
you are an amazing mom for teaching them different cultural dishes. most of these dishes came from struggles but bring so much joy now
Ever since the series started I hoped that a you’d try a recipe from my country and you finally did it. Love youuu ♥️🇵🇰
Monster High 💀
I randomly binge watch Hannah and right as I finished the last episode another episode came out!
I keep awaiting your episodes. It's just amazing! Please make it more regular.
I’ve been waiting for a Thai dish in this series & I’m so happy everyone loved it!
I understand why you can't share the family recipes, but OMG some of them look so much better than the Googled recipes I can find that I am insanely jealous that you get to try the "best" stuff. That said, I love this series more than any other, so please don't stop any time soon. Pweeeeease!!!
I've never seen kids eat so much ethnic foods...this is awesome and going to have to try some of these myself 💖👍
Hey! Im from Australia and I absolutely love your videos! Thankyou for doing the vegemite justice and being so open minded! Also, you can add a slice of cheese on top of the vegemite toast and its just heaven! You can also add it in a toastie with cheese, or some people even eat it in scrolls (a lot of supermarkets and bakery's sell vegemite scrolls!)
This series always leaves me feeling inspired
OMG...i have been watching hannah's videos since the start when she was a wine mom 🙂 i lovvvvvveeedddd watching her try biryani from my country Pakistan, i always thought she might not know that my country even existed 😜 feels soooo good to watch her acknowledging my country.
P.S: in my friends & family im known as the wine mom, 😉 even though i don't drink wine & not a mom
Ikrrrr I thought our country was non existent to her but watching her makes biryani brings me so much joy idk why 😁
the kids definitely could of tried the pasta sauce! the alcohol cooks out especially now that you simmered it for that long also cooking wine is different than what you usually would drink!!
I love this series!! Continue making these videos 🥰
I love how your family tries so many new things with open minds!!
Thank you for this series! My picky 11 year old loves watching it with me and usually asks for us to try 1-2 of the recipes!
Loving the new haircut and hair colors on everyone !
I hope this series never stops. It's awesome!
Thank you for updating Mom in progess! We love the familyyyy
I am really impressed by how good your kids are at tasting new food. I remember how picky Wyatt was just a year ago. Jackson to! So fun to see them adventure out of the "safe" foods that kids often have.
I’m loving Wyatts new hair!
I didn't recognise him in the intro! It's so cute!
He looks different with his hair cut. I like it
I just rewatched all of these videos. Just in time too!🥰
I ABSOLOUTLEY LOVE THIS SERIES
The way Jackson and Wyatt are describing food now sounds so grown up ❤❤❤
Everything looked great! If you cook with wine as long as it cooks down it will cook out the alcohol
I just love your videos and your creative ideas! love xx
Excited for the new house!!! The food looks sooo good
As an Australian THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY EATING VEGIMITE CORRECT WAY like everyone just has spoonful wtf
Hi from Thailand your Pad kha pao look so delicious, I would like you to try to make like a series of Thai food cause it will be amazing 😻
I love this series!
You showing your kids that there is more options to food is such an awesome way of teaching them hey there's more out there thing the food we have around us because I know growing up I didnt have access to exploring the world in such a cool way so it's cool knowing kids have a way of learning with it just being in a classroom
