That one lady obsessed with soya sauce is hilarious. Nothing had enough soya sauce im dead
just add a bit more- lmao
her name is sauyee sauce
Uk's nutmeg lady
She was the biggest hater
She’s the new Cassandra!!!!!
She said “sometimes simple is less” 🤭… yes less. Bless her heart. They were all charming
That’s something I’d put together on the go and still be happy.
I came to the comment section right after I heard her say that.😂
@@UberMikee_sameee glad it was the second comment lol
🤣 that had me rolling
Uncle Roger bout to find a new aunty fuiyooo
Loool🤣🤣
😭😭😭😭
I'd smash uncle Roger 9/10
Fooooooyoooooo
Exactly 🫡
I love how they were all taking tips from each dish and humble enough to admit they’d try them
I did like that, too 👏🏼
Describing rice as al dente is such an underrated put down 😅
😂😂😂😅
Right😂
Slightly stiff rice is good though. You don't want it turning into mush.
I am very late but I do enjoy my rice to have a little ‘bite’, nothing I hate more than mushy rice I might as well have mash potatoes
Note to all who has Sauyee as a dinner guest - make sure you stock up on the soy sauce 😂😅
Like were her tastebuds alright? 🙄
Well 😂Christmas is coming lol 😅you know what to bring
Why did I understand exactly what she meant with the chopping sounds? Lmao
@@Isa-66 I know
Made so much sense 😂😂
Yeah my mom cuts by the side and it’s so nice
Bobbi has a winning personality. Marie Lee probably cooked after she called Uber 😂
lollllll
Bobbi is annoying af
Aww! I wanna watch more from these Chinese moms. They actually aren’t harsh in each others dishes and score accordingly.
Salmon fried rice sounds amazing and I wanna try it 😋
Aww the egg and spring onion one was the one that stood out to me the most, she’s right less is more!
It’s closest to what my parents would make. The other moms are right though, it’s usually a little bland.
But she said simple is less
Your opinion. It looked totally bland
it's like a french omelette. it sounds like the rice hardened and she must've used really stale rice, and then it dried since they dont eat it right away.
@@thelivingroom6172this is traditional, ughhhh no one understands
The one obsessed with soy sauce, the salmon fried rice and the one that just put out everything from her fridge in the rice...yo these people are hilarious 😂😂😂
As a Chinese, I love Plain>Sausage>salmon>veggie. The plain one is the REAL traditional fried rice, and we DONT add soy in it!!!
I love Marie Lee’s personality
Please do more of these videos!! They’re great and I get exposed to so many cultures! For example I didn’t know anything about Caribbean food before this series
We’ve got a lot more on the way!
Yes I LOVE the different cultures and nationalities
Do you live under a rock? Are their not Caribbean restaurants where u live?
@@debravan1167calm down debravan1167 xx
@@debravan1167 there probably is but some people like to stick with the same old, because they know they like it. So they never end up actually going to new places.
Honestly they were all quite honest and nice. I am sure they all have different ideas of what the PERFECT rice would be (I would probably take the one with tons of veggies and prawns).
for all the criticism carrie had, she's lucky she won, but that also means she talked the talk and walked the walk....I would've chosen her's second...I Definitely would've chosen Bobbi's...Chinese sausage is delicious....Carrie's was mor aligned to what I've had at both traditional and American Chinese restaurants.
Lol its easy to judge when u havent tried it🙃
She also won the dumpling contest too.
I LOVE MUMS TRY! So glad it’s back.
Love these ‘try’ videos! Learn about different cuisines and how people make them. More please! ☺️
These mums were so generous with their scores 😮😂
So probably next time they will be tougher and more quippy. I noticed when they’re first-timers they’re nicer & we get a more honest score. 😂
Except Suayee
The winner had way too much going on...I would have preferred Marie Lee's if it was cooked properly
These were some different kind of fried rice😂😂😂 everyone’s so creative
Their skin is glowing they’re so beautiful 🥲❤️
I love learning about the differences and appreciation of cultural dishes. Everyone has something special to bring to the table.
I'm disappointed none of them are responding as if their daughter created these dishes. The total lack of sarcasm, disappointment, and outright viciousness is notably missing.
They’re still kinda young mums they’re not there yet 😂😂
Bobbi is cool…she wins Ms. Congeniality in my book ❤
I live in China and most fried rice is like Marie Lee's, very plain.
Duhk duhk duhk vs Chuhk chuhk chuhk. Chopping
And we got what she meant!! 😃😂
Dear BuzzFeedUK, I need a Tanzanian episode in my life!!
I loved Bobbi 😂
Since fried rice is one of my favorite foods, I found this episode extremely entertaining. These young ladies have provided me with different ways of preparing fried rice. Perhaps someone would make Egg Fu Young...
I love it when they do these types of videos comparing each others food, Hispanics have “pero like”, Black people have “cocoa butter”, Asians were waiting for y’all to step up and make a UA-cam channel dedicated for this stuff, it would be so much fun 🙂
That channel exists. It’s called A*Pop. They haven’t posted anything in a few months though.
I love how these ladies are brutally honest about their opinions. This is what keep the show very entertaining to watch .
Fantastic team
Carrie's looks like the majority of house/combination fried rice at restaurants here in Texas.
one of the best dishes to ever exist
The way she made the chop sounds sameeee
It's so funny to me how the person always says how they would do this and that and it always ends up the worst one 😂😂
Salmon not common in Chinese fried rice but there is salted fish fried rice, so fish with fried rice is definitely not unheard of.
I like Marie seems very nice ❤😊
People hating on the salmon in the fried rice... it's THEIR fried rice. Doesn't mean it has to be traditional. I think that would be delicious... especially with the soy sauce 😂
It's also THEIR opinion. A bit hypocritical there 😅.
@@ArchiveRagtagMoe not at all. I was more commenting on them saying it wasn't traditional.
Comfort food is the best, I love how it can be anything delicious but simple. I made beefaroni for dinner tonight and served it on a hamburger bun with cheese to hold it together and it was delicious. Here's my recipe if you wanna try it
Boil some Corkscrew cavatappi noodles
Brown 2/3 lb ground beef (leave in oil)
Next add garlic salt, Italian seasonings, and oregano, I usually do sprinkled layer lightly over the entire pan
then add 1/2 cup of roasted garlic pizza sauce
1/4 cup of alfredo sauce
melt with 3 slices of american cheese
And 1/3 cup of herdez medium heat mexican red salsa, stir in the pasta noodles and the extra slice of cheese will melt and hold it together when building your patty
The Chinese/British fused Accent is absolutely pleasing to my Tex/Mexican ears
Lolll out of these vids I’ve been waiting for a egg fried rice one 🙈
This was cute and lovely.
Bobbi is so nice 😍😍
6:55 that was such an underrated burn. "Needs more care" 😂
I love Bobbi’s and Marie Lee’s personalities 🥰🥰
Uncle Roger needs to get here quick...Fuiyoooh
The last one reminds me of the you you fan my grandpa used to make for me when I was a toddle. It was tasty and has egg, scallion, rice, and oil. The lap chang sausage fried rice is definitely a thing that I enjoy. Even better with some pineapple in it. Salmon…. Never heard of but fried rice was originally a dish created by dumping leftovers into a wok to cook with raice to get rid of food waste so anything goes really 🤷♂️ Carrie’s look like those hibachi restaurant fried rice that serves you sushi, fried rice, as well as orange chicken, crab ragoons.
She killing me talking bout that soy sauce
I would have picked the lap cheong fried rice, but that other lady was right - the lap cheong should be sliced at an angle, not chopped.
Sauyee sounds like she code switches effortless, my type of people.
This is the only competition i wanted to see lol
Marie threw something a plate last minute for sure 😂
it's the traditional way
Lmaoooo she said, " she's not built to eat this meal" 😂
I like how they took tips from the other mum's' dishes
The way she kept saying expensive ingredients, I knew something would be off with her rice
Bobbi is a vibe 🙌🏻
bobbi is such a vibe
My great niece has eaten fried rice all over the U S and a few places outside the country. She likes mine best. We make it together. 💕
Sauyee is one of the biggest haters out there. She didn’t want to see anyone win. Very devious and tactical.
Relax, it's just a fun video.
The second mum won in my book
Chinese moms being like NO A+ FOR YOU.
I'm Japanese and have never had salmon in fried rice 😂
No cuz I was wondering 😂😂😂😂
Salmon in fried rice is very nouvelle cuisine
Rice with fish is pretty common in China actually so i'm not sure what she is saying. Check out 咸鱼鸡粒炒饭
True. I’ve just never seen it in fried rice.
@@RedPanda450 ive always had it growing up
Why am i creasing at marie saying nO wAyyy lmaooooo ive cooked a more chinese egg fried rice than that
These Asian moms were dragging each other 😂😂
Carrie is such a snobbish, debbie downer, but her fried rice was definitely the best. Marie's looked like a teenage boy made it.
Naw...she just knew the standard
Carrie was the most annoying couldn’t stand her
@@Bunny11344I thought it was just me 😅
not really. she just put a lot of ingredients. fried rice is not supposed to be 30% rice.
Yep there should be a balance between how many ingredients you should put. She just dumped everything in the fridge in there.i@@mescellaneous
i think for fried rice, u shouldve gathered the old guy in the wifebeater we've all seen back in the kitchens of chinese restaurants.
Sometimes, simple is less 😂😂😂
i remember when Bobbi was on take me out!
It’s about time they brought on chinese moms
Damn I thought Marie Lee was gonna pull out all the stops since she had an accent 😅
They can all come over and give me a one on one cooking lesson
U can say that again 🤣😅😂... Cuz I sure need some lesson 😂
Must be chilli jam is Carrie's fried rice.
Not the al dente rice LMAOO
As someone living in japan, I’ve yet to see salmon added into fried rice
pre sure its meant to be like onigiri like 鮭おにぎり
Hibachi spots in the US love putting salmon over their fried rice. Not usually mixed in but the pairing exists.
Omg yesss!
Don’t cut your sausage “dopdopdop” but “chiuchiuchiu” please.
Try putting A1 on it. Sounds weird but it’s SO GOOD! Not saying drown the rice with A1, just a bit and mix it around, adds such a great flavor.
Bobbi accent is very mixed you can hear the Chinese/UK fusion well .. reminds me of Auntie Lindo from Joy Luck Club
I didn't trust the First Lady Sauyee from the jump. Uncle Roger is bout to roast her next week over that salmon addition
marrie was so sweeeet
I just knew Maries rice would win😂😅
Is a courgette a zucchini?
Also, I wonder if we can see the cooks try their own in an episode. Just because some people (me) don't taste as they go, plus when you sit down to eat you find out sometimes that it doesn't taste like you thought.
ASIA HAS FINALLY ENTERED CHAT HAIYAAAAA
The Filipinos beat you to it.
“who does like my salmon fried rice?! ARRRGHHHHH👹👹👹”
Constructive comments warm my heart…but I love a lil shade.
This show is so much more fun when the moms are mean.
I think the rice is meant to be put in the Nori, like a sushi bake.
Two of them were very nice nasty. LOL!! The other two were just happy to be there! 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 they find Marie wrong.
The girl said salmon for garnish 😂😂😂
"Uncle Roger just entered the chat."
Respectfully none of them could cook a proper fried rice especially disappointed in marie lee from the way she was critiquing the other i expected more from hers 😂 mainland and american style fried rice>>>>>>>>>
Marie Lee's fried rice is Mainland Chinese style
South Korean here. I like to season fried rice with salt and use soy sauce sparingly.
The way they all said they wanted more soy in every rice to make it better but didn’t put it in their own recipes 😂
icl none of their fried rice was good from the eye test 😂😂
Nice to see no obvious downvoting for once
man we are ALL in trouble if these women cant make good fried rice....UNCLE ROGER!!!!
