i think he had a hard time translating the spices in english. the white yogurt is a mixed of sliced thin veggies like cucumber and tomato with chickpea flour (the balls)

When we as adults, with a wider palette of food experiences, bite into food, we initially know what we like or don't. She's there to pick a dish based on _her_ food palette. That comes with preconceptions of what we do and don't like based on taste, texture and even visual queues. Maybe something wasn't quite right for her with the dish. It could be the seasoning or that it wasn't cooked long enough. Whatever it was, it did not feel or taste up to her expectations. She said spicy, but she didn't say anything about flavor. Goat is gamey. It needs to be seasoned just right to remove its gamey ness. Out of respect, she wouldn't say what it was, but it was definitely something.
He wasn't humble on the let down anyway. So, 🤷.

His curry is an African dish, many African dishes are spicy, you could say the same with Indian dishes as well. The presentation was fine as well, that's how the dish is represented in African culture, and you have the audacity to call it throw up? Is curry supposed to be fine dining? No, so you sound dumb and look absolutely stupid with this comment of yours. Obviously a very American mindset you have there, brain in a box that's what you have. Not open-minded and disrespectful.

Matt's curry goat looks awesome. I understand his disappointment. It was something that she wasn't used to and it looks like she doesn't have an adventurous palate, so she stuck to familiar flavours/foods.

This shows how different interpretations of curry can be from different cultures. I’ve never seen dish #3 curry and I thought that was interesting. Katsu curry is also super different from Caribbean curry.
That's chicken kofta curry. A very common curry in Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

It's called boondi raita, Faisal. Boondi is made from a chickpea flour batter and fried. It's crispy and softens up when it absorbs the yogurt.
