This is a great tribute song to the people shot in florida at that gay club, what a tragic event. God Bless these singers for doing this. I love that music moves as it does me. I spend a lot of time in songs like this with goose bumps and chills. Love it

Mario Jose is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music, and was actually on the Sing Off the year before Pentatonix won. Mary Lambert was one of the co-writers of Macklemore"s "One Love," and you are already familiar with Brian Justin Crum.

I agree.... Nobody knows how Scott's brain works to have the lyrics by LP und go like 'Mmh, let's mash them with the music of INCEPTION, put the magic of Mario's velvety voice to it and then spice it up with raw emotion'... and voila it became a fixed staple in my track list ever since
Yes, please react to this one. You will love it. Hans Zimmer, Scott, Mario--and then a strange song I had never heard. The genius of Scott Hoying made it all fit together into something better than any element was on its own. (And that's saying something, when you're talking Hans Zimmer!) Please, please. I had the exact same reaction when I heard this--lots of tears--partly because of the reason they were singing it (the Pulse Nightclub tragedy), but also from the stunning glorious beauty of their harmonies. I always feel somewhat affirmed when someone else is moved to tears by music as I often am. Thank you for letting us see you.

Such a beautiful reaction! This version just hits you right in the feels every time, doesn’t it? Especially once you read the description box and realise why they sung it. Wow. Just wow. I’d love to see you react to Hip Hop Goes Broadway part 1 and part 2 (with both of those don’t stop watching at the outtro screen coz there’s bloopers after. Superfruit often have bloopers after cover songs. They are an absolute riot. Also they have an album of original songs, my personal favourite is Guy.Exe. The video is so creative!

yes! It's the sweetest sound these 5 created in those final chords that makes me cry too. I loved EACH of them, but not sure if you heard something cause you didn't quite mention it.. and it's so soft it can go unnoticed, so I'm not criticizing.. just sharing. but did you hear Mitch keep going AFTER that high note? He was back there floating around gentlly like a dove riding the air currents of different notes after the one you mentioned. He keeps touching softly on the notes for about 16 counts.. but it's in that soft angel voice he creates with a placement he uses sometimes? oh, heck it slays me when he does that! Avi used to introduce Mitch in concert as having the voice of a baby Angel. It was so sweet!
I think of what event inspired this number, and their inspiration and I cry.

My Mom passed away almost 3 yrs ago and despite having a very large family you can still feel very alone at times. This song just made me feel like I can do it just dig deep.
The first time I heard this I reacted EXACTLY like you did! When people ask me the song that I wish I could hear for the first time again, it's this video! My second song to hear for the first time again would be Bohemian Rhapsody.
This song makes me cry too. It's incredibly powerful.
I always cry when I listen to this, mainly because it's so powerful but (not sure if you read the intro on the page) that they did that to support the LBGTQ+ community after the Pulse night club shooting in Orlando

Love love love your reaction. I think my reaction was EXACTLY the same. The simplicity of the filming, the different tones and textures of their voices and Mary's soft beginning, building in strength but when all their voices came together at the end I was overwhelmed with emotion. I mean, we know Scott and Mitch can sing but this was my first time hearing Brian, Mario, and Mary. Outstanding ensemble.
It's an emotional song & they all are great singers that know how to put that emotion into their voice as they sing, so I totally get your reaction. 🙂
This song is amazing and I've seen multiple reaction videos for it and MANY of them cry because it really is absolutely beautiful.

This isn't Pentatonix or Superfruit related, but can you pleaseeee react to Jeremy Jordan?? He's an amazing vocalist who's been on Supergirl and on Broadway. I'd recommend either his cover of Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back to Me Now or his version of She Used to Be Mine from Waitress. He is STUNNING. You would love him

As talented as these guys are you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. i.e. the tune's boring and monotonous and I don't like the clumsiness of the lyrics. 'Imagine' by the Pentatonix was far better and much more poignant.
