One of the best instructional videos I've seen.
Thank you! And thanks for watching! 🤟
Thanks for the video. I replaced both headlight assemblies on my wife’s car. The fixtures were easier to remove and replace than I thought they’d be based on your video but the fasteners were mostly more difficult to remove for me than you. Your video made the job easy.
That's awesome man, I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching! 🤟
Excellent presentation, sir. You even mentioned disconnecting the negative battery terminal. I liked the detail of those wire harness connectors as well. Very clear with good audio as well.
Thanks for the kind words! And thank you for choosing our video to watch! 🤟
Really helpful, I needed this in order to be able to replace the dipped beam bulb on the passenger side of a RHD car in the UK
I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! 🤟
Great video... Much appreciated. Just a note. When I replaced mine, I removed that strip of plastic on the bumper that runs from headlamp to headlamp. Two fasteners and some clips. Made the assembly come right out without any obstruction...
Good information! This should be able to help others so thanks for sharing! 🙏
It could not be any better. A video of a perfection class.
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🙏
installed my first car mod thanks to you.
That's great man congrats! Thanks for taking the time to comment! 🤟
thank you so much Trick, my old headlights where way to foggy i tried to clean them and it was no use. picked up some awesome headlights and some LED bulbs and its amazing its night and day with how much i can see at night. again thank you so much for this amazing walk through the details where amazing and very easy to go step by step with you!
That's great, I'm glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! We appreciate the support! 🤟
@@TrickShiftGarage my pleasure man you got my sub looking forward to the new videos on the accord 8th gen!
great instructions!! Thanks.
Thanks for watching! 🤟
Man I love how you did that awesome
Thanks for watching! 🤟
Good video but you don't have to disconnect the battery man.
You're right, it's not necessary. However, it only takes a minute to remove so why not? Thanks for watching!
@@TrickShiftGarage I get it.
I'm just not one of them guys to take a part off unless it is necessary.
Of course that's just me. Just a heads up is all. Keep up the good work 💯
In case you still want ideas about getting the headlight out - as you mention after you wrestled that guy loose, you can easily take the lower plastic bracket off with two 10mm bolts. Just remove those so it's two pieces and you'll have the flexibility to get it out without much hassle :)
Yea I really wish I would have done that in the video to help show everyone how easy it is.
You gave us a lot of details. I am gonna subscribe to your channel because of the same reason. Good luck
Thank you! 🙏
Great video ! Thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! 🤟
Thank you, very details 👍
Anytime! Thanks for watching! 🤟
Just wanted to mention that there is a hole in the fender liner that allows you to access the two screws on the ends of the bumper so you don’t have to bother peeling it back.
That's very true! You can actually see my finger poking through the hole in one of the clips. Thanks for pointing that out! 👍
Excellent video, thank u.
Anytime! Thanks for watching! 🤟
Remove the plastic piece that sits in front of the radiator in which the front of bumper is behind it. Headlight will be much easier to take out. Hope this helps😁
Good tip! Thanks for sharing! 🤟
Video well detailed
Thanks for watching! 🤟
You are great thank you
Thanks for watching! 🤟
I take it there is no light adjustment needed? Great video.
Nope, thanks for watching!
Great video! Did you have enough push clips to complete the job with the 6 sizes pack you've linked?
Oh yea, I had some left over too. I even used some of the clips for my truck a couple of a weeks ago. Those clip packs are very convenient.
Is it not possible to detach the mounting bracket off of the headlamp assembly first before trying to wiggle it out to disconnect? Seems that would be easier.
Yes for sure. I think I mentioned that in the video.
@@TrickShiftGarageno, you just mention how to take em off. Regardless, good to know. Also what I really appreciate about the video is the time that you took to explain how the electrical connectors are removed by showing the part that you have to push down. So many videos take that kind of thing for granted. The arrows you put in the freeze frame also help tremendously. Great attention to detail.
Can you pleases share a link for the exact clips? The clips in the description are all different sizes- not sure which one to get
Not every clip is the exact same size. Some fit perfectly in one hole but are too big in another. That's why a kit like the one I put in the description is so valuable. You can always go to your local Honda Dealer and get new clips from them, but that's going to be more expensive. It's up to you!
Thanks for watching! 🤟
Did you take steps to re-aim the headlights? If so, how?
Didn't need to. I did not replace the bulbs, nor did I mess with the housing like that.
Werd i feel confident removing the headlights now 😂
Lol let me know how it goes!
My DS low beam seems to be stuck in the housing. I don’t wanna replace the whole piece 😢
Some are very hard to turn. Try moving it back and forth in the housing and see if that helps loosen it up.
How do I get those tire jacks ?
I have them in the description of the video!
@@TrickShiftGarage I think he's talking about the ramps. They're not in your description.
Whoops! I'll add that first thing tomorrow! Sorry for the confusion!
Alright I added the ramps to the description and will also put them below!
Car Ramps - amzn.to/3PBQsdq
You can also get them with wheel chocks too!
Car Ramps and Wheel Chocks - amzn.to/3Q0pvS1
Might wanna add that you need to re-attach your Negative cable to your battery terminal hehe, or she might not start lol :)
Lol dammit, very true! I completely forgot about that clip. Thanks for the reminder! 🤟
@@TrickShiftGarage hahaha you’re welcome!
