Advice to anyone doing it! Replace EVERYTHING if you got the chance, DRL/Highbeam, Low Beams, Blinker lights and Side parking marker lights. I did this and realized with the amount of work involved and risk of snapping bumper tabs, just buy ALL the bulbs you need and replace them at once so you're good to go for 2+ years.

I’d also like to mention that this procedure is for changing the entire light assembly and is NOT necessary for simply changing out the bulbs. To change out the bulbs, you only need to twist out the connector from behind the light assembly housing,; no tools required. This is just to clarify for earlier comments expressing concern that all this work is necessary just to replace a bulb.

I got to learn about my car some and saved some money in the process, and it was easier than I thought. My car with new LEDs and headlamp assemblies looks great now, and my ability to see and be seen during night time driving is now vastly improved.

@@joebobjenkins7837 Wait... to change a light bulb all you have to do is remove the rubber grommet behind the headlight and then just replace the bulb. This video is on how to remove the entire assembly.

Purchase new plastic push pin fasteners before starting this job. When I removed the original fasteners, over half of them broke apart due to being brittle from age. My Honda Accord is a 2010, seven years old when I performed this job. Hope this advise helps. I was replacing both oxidized headlights and the job took me about 3 hours.
Agree with Paul, I did the same thing, bought clips first. You wouldn't want to be unable to complete your job just because you didn't buy a bag of new plastic clips.

I am looking everywhere and I can't seem to find the size and don't want to end up buying the wrong ones. Also is the clip size different for the bumper and other parts where I need push pins? My question would be if you change one, should you change both sides because the the older one is going to be dull and cloudy and the new one bright and clear?
Back in the old days changing a headlight was for screws... But now with aerodynamics and plastic (polycarbonate) headlights and replaceable bulbs, changing the bulb is easier but changing the entire headlight assembly is a lot more difficult.

Thanks for the guide. I went to a mechanic to replace my headlight with a different style aftermarket one and now my headlights won't move up or down when I use the adjuster. Is there any way to replace the adjustment bolt or did they do something wrong?
No problem. Hmm, that's tough without seeing it. I would double check with them to see why it won't work. I don't see why it wouldn't unless it's somehow not compatible with the new lights or something.. Let me know how you make out

I think it has something to do with these new assemblies, since I had a random mechanic install them instead of me doing them myself (my mistake). I'm going to do a bit more research and maybe even ask Honda. I'll keep you posted.
And at $125 per labor hour... Your $3 light bulbs that burnt out now will cost you $300, if you're lucky! DAMN GOOD ENGINES but everything else, trim, dash lights, interior is not good quality and within 5 years Boom! There it goes!

Replacing all bulbs isn’t necessary, on the owners manual it tells you how to change them without taking off bumper and headlight.
