  • Led headlight review 2020/how to remove headlight Honda accord/how to remove bumper Honda accord
    So its been 6 months now since I installed my new Led's, so I guess this is an led headlight review 2020? They are great and the light is soo bright, they look so good but 2 of my new Led's decided to not work anymore. I found out why! (well I think I did!) for my new led headlight c6 is used instead of the ones from wish but they are almost identical so lets see if they are any different in the long run.
    i also decided to show how to remove bumper honda accord because it is kinda tricky.
    This is a link to the video how to replace headlight bulb honda accord with leds to see how they look after installing.

    This video gave me courage to remove my front bumper to replace my xenon bulb. My hand could not fit from the tyre well so I had to remove the bumper. Cheers!

    Good video mate. I've two Accords. 2004 executive vtec petrol, and picked up an 2009 GT 2.2 diesel last week. Not looking forward to replacing these bulbs at all. I've leds in the petrol Accord. 2nd set now. 1st set lasted 3 years!!! I also had them led reg lights like yours but both started flickering after a year or so. Put the standard ones back in for now. I have a fresh set to put in when I get time. Alloys look cool, very nice.

    • @GPTV2020
      @GPTV2020  3 роки тому

      Thanks for your comment, yeah they are difficult enough to replace when there is no need for them to be so hard to replace, i just always buy two sets so if they start flickering or stop working i can replace right away.

    Great and informative video mate! I'm about to remove my bumper as well and would follow your video. Only difference between our bumpers is that mine has the headlight washers which I think I have to remove the covers first.

      Thanks alot. Some people are saying that they don't need to remove the bumper they have access from the wheel well. I found it very difficult from there, you will probably find an easier way yourself but this way works for me. Good luck.

      @@GPTV2020 just a quick question where did you get the bulbs and the bag of plastic clips. The headlamp and grill in my honda are slightly different they most have done a facelift at some stage.

      Yes the face-lift was done in 2011, headlights are the same just different colour and front bumper and grill is different. Got them from ali express! I will try post a link here.

    Awesome vid!
    For my CU2 ( I have the 4 cyl variant)
    I believe the USDM comes with HIDs for low beam stock well at least mines has. I didn’t have to remove the bumper.
    As for my DRLs I’m using a dual beam LED from Auxbeam. I’ve had them for about 2 years now.
    I have some what of a short cut to get to the fog lights as well. Here’s a suggestion if you’re open to it, purchase the After market Acura headlights. I wish I could post a pic for you to see. Also the trunk release boot release switch in the middle of those rear plate lights, does it still work?

      Id like to see them, i was looking at getting the newer 2011 European headlights in the future they have clear indicators. I have see those leds, but i wanted to see how good the cheap ones are first.

    Subscribed without hesitation. The only video (and the other one too) that gives precise blow by blow account of how to do this. I’m not sure how anyone can get the bulb changed from the wheel well. It looks impossible. I’ll just follow your style. I spent more than 40 minutes at Halfords…..they had no clue. Now I have the confidence to do it (mot failed because of this!). One request, if you don’t mind. I know it’s been about three years, but what tools, including sizes did you use? Your power tool, is it just a standard one? Link to where you bought those retainers? Thank u.

      Hey thanks for your comment 👍. Standard Phillips head screw driver, and a flat head to remove the plastic clips. 10 mm socket with an extension to reach under the headlights (about a foot long extension) a long nose pliers to remove the clips fully. And this is an amazon affiliate link to a variety box of these clips. amzn.to/4a4LQ8V.
      Hopefully it's not too difficult for you.

      Hey, i have an affiliate link in the description to everything i use, these are the two affiliate links to the clips anyway. If you have a trim removal tool it is easier to remove them and it's possible you will not break them, so you may not need to buy the clips before hand. But it's better to have it and not need it! 😂

      You could get moisture inside on the lens then, but someone here gave a tip and said drill 3 holes at the top and 3 holes at the bottom and that works so try that.

    Why change the bulbs ? Surly not because they are a bit brighter? Why , no point!! Unless your doing a night rally or want to blind other drivers 😙. Don’t waste your money 👍

    • @GPTV2020
      @GPTV2020  3 роки тому

      I see your point but no really, they are a lot brighter and clearer on dark roads, i live on darker roads so its a safety matter plus the colour is a lot nicer then the warm glow of the halogen ones, like using a candle to see where im driving.
