There's one other SpongeBob game that I'm trying to find but have never been able to. It was a flash game about Doodlebob sending doodle enemies after you. It played kind of like a first-person shooter where you wielded the pencil and would shoot the enemies with erasers. I remember the music from the cheap walk cycles playing in the game. Do you know what that game might be called? I remember playing it while at the library as a kid but part of me feels like it's just in my imagination.
What year did you email "THQ" ? Because I think you emailed THQ Nordic who probably couldn't get the licenses THQ once had. Not that that's the only thing preventing a re release
These backgrounds are actually gorgeous, the added lightning on the places make them much more moody, which in addition to the caustics on the outdoor areas makes everything look much more decisively underwater and alive
Yeah I swear there are times where the PC games (minus Operation Krabby Patty since it was more a straight rip of the TV show’s artstyle) made Bikini Bottom look more enticing than the Pokémon world than the TV show could ever make it look.
I had this game as a child. I have fond memories of playing it quite frequently, even trying to obtain the hidden VHS tape in each chapter. While true that this game is a little janky, I think the jankiness adds to the charm. I appreciate that someone is giving this game some recognition.
The jank of this game is what makes it special and gives it character in my opinion. It’s very unique and like nothing else. Also I just love the way most of the characters in this game talk like real people too.

Good to see it made it across the sea as well. It's a shame AWE Games is no longer around and games like this no longer are made.

Chapter 2 was also always my favorite. Having to wait for a long-running bus, just wandering around a strange area, maybe visiting bathrooms or looking at vending machines just to pass the time. And the beer quest is just the cherry on top.

this channel is gonna go great places
We had this game growing up. Loved it, probably played through it like 3 times. I miss the simplicity of the late 90s early 2000s PC games.
i honestly thought this channel already has like 50+ videos out judging from how fun and entertaining he is, but i am amazed how this is only his 3rd video... please do more they are honestly so entertaining
Oh man you really pulled a banger out of my childhood. The warm excitement I got seeing those cutscenes for the first time in at least 15 years…good sh**
Thankful for my mum discovering this game and getting it for me as a kid. One of the many gems from my childhood.
This is one of those games that I find myself coming back to every couple of years. It’s so comforting and calming to me, and really inspired a lot of aspects of my art and what I’d like to create! Really underrated classic imho.
This was great! You earned a subscriber, keep it up!
Oh my goodness I still have this game! The memories. Tried installing it when I got my new computer but none of the models rendered
I REMEMBER SEEING A PLAYTHROUGH OF THIS GAME WHEN I WAS A CHILD AND I WAS SO SAD I NEVER KNEW THE NAME OF THE GAME AND THOUGHT ID NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. Thanku so much dude omg.
the nostalgia… my great grandfather recently passed, when i was young he taught me about computers and let me play this game, i appreciate you for making this video. brings back some good memories :)

No way, I played this game as a kid!! The nostalgia and memories this video brought me are unrivaled
This game left such a mark on me as a child. I can confidently say I never knew what happened past chapter two - the skull there before you go meet Marlin freaked me out so bad I never ever played again, let alone past that point. Spongebob horror game?! Who'da thunk. Great video!
Just wanted to say that this video is absolutely fantastic, your script writing is at a really high level and the video isn’t over edited. Really hope to see more from you in the future mate.
Absolutely loved this game as a child. No SpongeBob game for me holds up to this gem. Thank you for giving me so much nostalgia
I gotta say, I've beat this game several thousand times over as a kid, and I NEVER knew there was a hint system.
