I recently replaced the cracked push/stop start button on my 2015 Range Rover Sport (L494). The replacement process seemed straightforward, and everything went back together without any obvious issues. However, now the vehicle won’t start at all. Here’s what happens: • When I press the button, there’s no ignition or engine cranking-completely unresponsive. • The dashboard lights up as usual, so it seems like there’s power. I’ve double-checked the battery voltage, wiring and connections, and everything appears to be seated properly. Has anyone experienced something similar after replacing the start/stop button? Could this be an issue with the new button itself, or is there something I might’ve missed during installation? I appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips! Thanks in advance
simon ... a curiosity ... regarding RANGE Rover Sport L494 Center Console Right + Left Trim DK62-045M10-A 045M11-A ... without the led profile ... you can change it with the one with the led profile (the one that changes color) - but not having the adjustment it should only remain white ... is the console already set up with plugs? (as an example the luminous platforms) ... always EXCELLENT WORK regards
Can you please post or briefly explain how to do the same job with LR Discovery Sport (2015)? Much appreciated, Love your show 👍 and subscribed to your channel

There are a couple of types of switch - does you old switch have the engineering park number on it ? If you can share the part numbers on your old switch and send a link to the item you purchased i can check if they are compatible. I suspect you have the wrong or a faulty switch.
Generally an informative video as are your others. BUT. May I suggest you think before the video starts. Plan what you are going to do and in what sequence. Say and repeat less. you waffle to much some editing wouldn't go amiss. please don't stop though.
Thank you so much it took me only 20min to change the stop & start button. On my 2015 Ranger Rover Sport L494

Hi. I’m curious as to how the key works or is it now totally without a key needed in the ignition. ?? Please.
Yes now as long as you have the key inside the car ( in you pocket ) then the car will start when you press the START button
Can you get the illuminated blue start stop buttons?.
Hi this is a top idea - i will take one apart and see if we can modify it... or is there another Land Rover model with a blue illuminated one ?
powerfulukltd yes I’ve seen one on eBay. It illuminates blue with the power of the vehicle behind on.

Yes the videos are sort of a voyage of discovery that you join me on.... so there may be a bit of waffle and some mistakes... but its real life.
powerfulukltd My intent was to be helpful not critical. I enjoy your work.
