hello guys i have stealth 600 . the headset was working finr working brfore i connected it to my laptop and updated the firmware on it . and then it wouldnt turn on or give audio prompts . its only had a red light flashing at the bottom of it . it dose the same thing when plugged in and wont go away when the power botton is pushed . the light in headset only work if connect with cable ( red light flashing) please help

So I have two usb transmitters for my headset but I dont know where I left my original one , the one that came with the headset. Whenever I pair the other one it says connected but I'm not able to hear anything even tho is paired .
Are they for the same headset model? I don't know why you'd have multiple 700p transmitters. Also if you're connected and your PS4 is set to chat audio while you don't have an optical cable connection you won't hear anything.
If it is not working that way then try to do the opposite and turn the headset on and hold the on buttons until you hear the headset BEEP. Then you plug in the usb or Bluetooth piece that goes in your ps4 then use a small item and hold in the button in the tiny hole! It worked for me.
So i broke my turtle beach stealth 600 headset but i have another pair of them that came without the transmitter so is there any way that i could pair the new headset with my old transmitter

Hiya, let's see if I can help! Did you get it from www.turtlebeach.com/pages/audio-hub ? You'll need the windows or the mac installer from there if you want to update the firmware! You'll only be able to update the firmware from the Mac or PC Audio Hubs, the 700P won't update by itself or on the Android/iOS versions through bluetooth. You can definitely use them right off the bat, but there's probably been a bunch of fixes since they left the factory, I'm 90% sure the most recent update made it so that your headset won't lose bluetooth pairing when you update it anymore. I think the update before that fixed the sound levels for iOS via BT... (Not 100% sure on that one though) I hope that helped!

Solid red means you're either not getting enough power to start it up, it's not inserted all the way, your current USB port is messed up, or the firmware was bunged up (perhaps during an update?). If you connect the transmitter to a different port or on a different device, does it react that way all the time? That's the first thing to check.
I have a Stealth 600 gen 2, but there doesn't seem to be a pinhole of any kind in the USB transmitter. Is it where the little cut-out is on one side? or is it anywhere on that side with the cut or the other side?
The gen 2's for PlayStation will automatically pair once they're powered on, there's no fancy gimmick like with the gen 1's. But! If you're looking for the pinhole to set them into bootloader mode, when the logo is single point facing down the pinhole is on the right side of the transmitter.

That sounds like either your USB port isn't up to snuff and the transmitter isn't getting enough power or the FW is bunged. Try a different port first on the same device and then a different device's port. If it's doing the same thing in both of these scenarios you can try a bootloader update... If that don't work you'll have to talk to support!
Try pairing them while the transmitter is connected to something else (i.e. if it's not working on your PC, try with the transmitter plugged into your ps4, etc.)
Have a question mine connect and everything works but after I power off headset about 10 mins later the transmitter starts blinking like it would be looking for a headset although it's already paired is that normal that transmitter will do that
If you're connected to PC, make sure to choose them as devices. If you're connected to PS4, and *DO NOT* have the optical cable connected, make sure your audio device settings say you want to send "all audio" to device, not "chat audio."
No, Xbox Wireless is a totally different protocol than the wireless connection the PS uses, you won't be able to use them wirelessly on your Xbox. You _can_ use them wired to your controller though.

I don't know if they're in stock at the moment, but you _can_ get a new transmitter and pair it to your headset. They're not locked to the headset that came in the box with them :)

Nope, the 700X connects via xbox wireless which understandably the PS4 doesn't have. You could use the aux jack to connect @ 3.5mm cable from your headset to your ps4 controller though

Uhhhh, anything with a USB port you can use to power the transmitter, technically. You just won't get any sound, but you can do the pairing process as long as both headset and transmitter are powered
There's no.. separate power source for the microphone, it all runs off the same battery? unless you meant "my," in which case that's easy enough to check, just try a different micro usb cable

If you're running Windows 10's 1903 update you'll probably run into some issues, they're messing around with surround sound, but you CAN still use Windows Sonic no matter what :)

@@wafflesAREgood1st personally I've never had a problem, but I know that some people like to have everything at a deafeningly loud volume... I usually stay around... I'd say 30% volume? and that's plenty loud for me. If you came from a 520 or something before TB had to fit into the EU regulations I think you might be disappointed that the 520 can achieve a much higher volume but it has never bothered me in the slightest. I will say that if you have a BT device connected, that device's max volume is what determines how loud the BT will be on the 700. Most phones these days will output HELLA LOUD, to the point where you can make the BT volume *WAY* louder than the game or chat volume.
You don't need an optical cable to pair the headset to the transmitter. To that end (ha, puns) the optical cable has nothing to do with the headset at all actually. It goes into the transmitter from your console/tv.
Audio is still coming out my TV while the headphones are in use, is that normal isn't it supposed to cancel out the TV game audio and just headphone audio my plug in headphones canceled out the TV audio why aren't these?
When you use an optical connection from the PS4 it continues to output through the HDMI as well. The same is true for the Xbox actually. Just lower your TV volume and you should be fine.
Try connecting your transmitter to another USB port. You can even get them to pair if no data is being transferred, like if you connect your transmitter to a wall outlet USB port or something like that

If you have headphone output set to "Chat Audio" then chat will not play from your tv, it's only going to play to the headset. In order to get the full use of the headset, that's what the settings have to be set to.

Most likely not, unless you had a micro/USB c to USB a female adapter. But I don't even know if your phone would read it. You can use the 600p on the switch that way though

The 600p does not have a bootloader but the 600x does. blinking red is bootloader behavior. are you sure you dont have a 600x?

It *should* go to sleep, but it doesn't really "sleep" as well as a 600 transmitter does

If you can, try in a less RF heavy area.

I don't know Turtle Beach still sells gen 1 transmitters online, but as long as you have the same model headset and transmitter, they will pair.

Nope, 600 Transmitter won't recognize a 700 Headset (and a 700 transmitter won't recognize a 600 headset either).

There's a button that you need to press, should be centered within the hole, you can feel it as resistance

If you break the transmitter what’s a way to still use the headset
you can still use it wired (as long as it's powered on).
It doesn't come with a 3.5mm cable though, so make sure you get a 4-pole cable!

I hope you still reply. I'm thinking about getting this headset. Since I wanted a headset that supports 7.1 audio for ps4. And also I can use for my pc since I also game on pc. Just a curious dumb question. But the 7.1 surround sound will also work on pc right?

If you're running Windows 10's 1903 update you'll probably run into some issues, they're messing around with surround sound, but you CAN still use Windows Sonic no matter what :)

@@Kage_Okami I'm really sorry to bother you but I see some people complaining about voice syncing or low volume about this headset I really want a headset for my ps4 for 7.1 surround sound guarantee and can connect to phone. Is this headset really worth $150 for you like in your opinion or did you upgrade to something else. I would love to use these headset. For movie and show watching plus ps4 gaming and phone watching. If I am able to connect to pc that is perfect. Tomorrow I purchase them but might change my mind due to your opinion
@@wafflesAREgood1st personally I've never had a problem, but I know that some people like to have everything at a deafeningly loud volume... I usually stay around... I'd say 30% volume? and that's plenty loud for me. If you came from a 520 or something before TB had to fit into the EU regulations I think you might be disappointed that the 520 can achieve a much higher volume but it has never bothered me in the slightest.
I will say that if you have a BT device connected, that device's max volume is what determines how loud the BT will be on the 700. Most phones these days will output HELLA LOUD, to the point where you can make the BT volume *WAY* louder than the game or chat volume.

You don't need an optical cable to pair the headset to the transmitter.
To that end (ha, puns) the optical cable has nothing to do with the headset at all actually. It goes into the transmitter from your console/tv.
I've followed this guide but the headset and the transmitter just keep flashing it doesn't pair
Did you try on PC or another setup that has USB ports? I dunno why but sometimes it's easier

Turtle Beach does sell new transmitters, but I'm not sure if they're in stock
Audio is still coming out my TV while the headphones are in use, is that normal isn't it supposed to cancel out the TV game audio and just headphone audio my plug in headphones canceled out the TV audio why aren't these?
When you use an optical connection from the PS4 it continues to output through the HDMI as well. The same is true for the Xbox actually.
Just lower your TV volume and you should be fine.

Try connecting your transmitter to another USB port. You can even get them to pair if no data is being transferred, like if you connect your transmitter to a wall outlet USB port or something like that

Do you have to have the usb or can you use the headset without it
If the headset is powered on you can use it with the 3.5mm to your controller but you won't be able to get separate game and chat that way

Mines connected and I can hear the game audio but I cant hear the chat on my ps4
If you have headphone output set to "Chat Audio" then chat will not play from your tv, it's only going to play to the headset. In order to get the full use of the headset, that's what the settings have to be set to.
Probably shooting in the dark here but does anyone know if the USB transmitter from the 600 will work for the 700 headset?
It will not :(
I _think_ the only two P transmitters that will recognize another headset are the 500 and the 520

Unfortunately the S600 transmitter won't work with a stealth 700 to my knowledge

The 700x connects directly to Xbox wireless, Sony doesn't have any proprietary tech like that

Kage_Okami turns out the headset just unpaired took two tries to pair it again but I’d just like to ask is it necessary to update the headset or can u use it fine without updating
@@-at-1528 I mean it will work either way but the updates fix stuff. I know there was an update recently to fix some android 8 Bluetooth issues _shrugs_ I guess it's up to the user though, unless you intend to change the settings via audio hub, then you'll have to update

yes, but when you use the mic over BT it mutes the mic over the game path, so you can't talk to two different people at once

Depends on the model. Many of the newer headsets are always in pairing mode while they're powered on. Which model are you trying to pair?

Most likely not, unless you had a micro/USB c to USB a female adapter. But I don't even know if your phone would read it. You can use the 600p on the switch that way though

Kage_Okami yeah, I’ve tried plugging it into the wall and into my laptop still won’t charge but the same charger works for my controller so I know it’s not the wires fault. No idea why it’s happening my turtle beach only couple months old and never dropped it or harmed it in anyway
